Ulmwin is a bit tense, seemingly ready if someone on the ground needs help... But until that happens, he can just keep up the array of glimmering bolts.
As the creature surfaces, its targeted by the full complement of both parties, and its progress through the soil grinds to a halt, just before Dornikal, collapsing with a wheeze, still half submerged in the soil.
There is cheering from the trees, and the floating mage begins slowly descending to the grass.
Coljin, being at the edge of the forest, near to where the camoflaged folks were perched, is the first to be approached, as Randy and Dornikal are both out in the meadow, and Ulmwin is flying above. Zokk is not to be seen at the moment, the unleashing of fire to seal the hydra's fate may have disturbed your coniferous friend.
"Well met, good gnome!", he is greeted bombastically by a burly human, who pushes back his hood to reveal a shaggy beard. Catching sight of your holy symbol, he nods approvingly and gives a slight bow of respect. "A blessing on our hunt indeed to have one of the Lady's faithful at hand!"

"Good Afternoon," Coljin smiles happily at the man's greeting. "Even though we happened upon this by accident, we are glad we were able to....help...I guess. And I'm happy to meet someone who appreciates Mielikki's influence."
He looks over at the rest of the party to make sure Dornikal is still doing alright, after his rage wears off.
"What exactly did we stumble upon? This was quite a hunt! How did you happen to fight both of these creatures in one spot?"
Ulmwin, seeing the threats are gone, relaxes a bit. After a short moment he decides to cautiously fly toward his fellow flier, obviously needing to say the obvious first.
"Flying is awesome, eh?" he starts, but does quickly follow up after. "Sorry we didn't act sooner. I wanted to, but we weren't sure what we were dealing with at first."
Randy wipes his blade clean and sheaths it. He gives a nod to the burly individual. "I'm also curious about this escapade. The combination of creatures seems...a little unusual."
The big guy scratches his black beard and grins at Coljin's question about what they stumbled on. "An efficient strategy, it seems! Good thing it worked out. It was the missus' idea, so I had to go along with it..", he lowers his voice and gives the cleric a conspiratorial wink, "but she's the big thinker, that's why she's the boss!"
Dornikal plops down on the freshly tilled soil, watering it with his blood, which brings Coljin running. The bearded fellow shrugs and follows at a slower pace, where he's intercepted by Randy as the ranger leaves his dwarven companion to Coljin's arts and moves to continue the line of questioning.
"Ah, a pair of bounties, pitted against one another! Brilliant, no? Name's Brucho, my missus with the bow ought to be down soon, just got telling your holy man there that she's the boss of our outfit.", he extends a hand to shake.
He is recognizably one of the two who pushed their hoods back earlier, and up close is a bit over six foot and certainly wouldn't be supported by the higher branches of the trees, but seems in good shape to be out hunting dangerous beasts, though still within 'edible size' for either a bulette or hydra. He looks to be in his mid forties and human, his dark cheeks and forehead suggesting a life outside even on top of his brown complexion.
You're joined shortly by the other fellow who had pushed his hood back, also human, but a few inches shorter, at least a decade or two older, and of a more wiry physique. His hair and beard are kept shorter, and liberally speckled with grey.
"This here's Evar, best tracker I know!"
Evar spares him a grunt before moving over to inspect the kill. He at least glances at Dornikal, but doesn't seem like he needs to intervene with Coljin there.
A bit later three more figures reach the edge of the forest, one of them inspecting the wire trap, the others looking over until Brucho waves them over. The figure with the bow speaks to the others, who nod and remain there as they stride forward, longbow in hand, pushing back the fringed hood of her suit to reveal a tall woman with deep red hair, shaved close on one side. Her striking features and the shape of her ears suggest at least some elven blood.
"This here's my darling wife, Kayleera! Like I said, it was her plan! And it worked out perfect! Bit of help at the right time, from you boys--- ooof!"
Brucho cuts off short as his wife gives him a jab to the solar plexus, before standing shoulder to shoulder with him and throwing an arm around his shoulders and shaking her head.
"You even give them a chance to catch their breath, you great windbag?", she asks fondly, "Might as well finish introductions, Whoopsie's up there checking on his trap, Boskin's with him. And---", she pauses to look around to where the floating magic user is being approached by Ulmwin, "that's our daughter Vaduta that jumped the flag."
"Aww, c'mon Kay, girl did just fine! No safer place than in the sky!"
Kayleera's stern expression softens. "She did well."
"Well, I'm sure my husband has told you all about why we're here, what brings the four of you to this remote bit of wilderness? I hope you're not here looking to jump the same bounties?"
"Oh, man, I wish!", the slowly descending figure says as Ulmwin approaches. "I can't fly yet, just float. Can you teach me?"
"Probably just as good you didn't jump in sooner, if you'd forked it up, my Mum would have tanned your kettles! Umm... don't tell her I said fork... or kettle.", she says with a grimace, pushing back the hood to reveal a young female tiefling, likely in her late teens, with pinkish-purple skin with auburn hair braided around her short horns. "She says such words are fine for my Da and Nunkle, but folks judge a woman by her language. I'm Vaduta, by the way, who are you?"
The magic keeping her aloft has faded, and she steps down on to the grass, looking up at the flapping Ulmwin with some amount of envy.

As Coljin is taking stock the pair from the treeline descend to join the others, one of which is holding an arm tight to their side, it seems to have been given a cursory wrap, but you spot some blood. It doesn't seem too terribly bad from their body language, but they have some sort of injury.

Randy is paying close attention to what they say and how they say it, trying to determine if there's anything that they might be hiding.

"We're just passing through. We heard the commotion and decided to check it out. We were a bit concerned about what we might have stumbled into since we detected evidence of fae and elementals about. If there's a bounty, it's yours as far as we're concerned. That, however, seems to imply that these beasts had been making a pest of themselves? Is there a village close by, then? We're not from around here and aren't overly familiar with the area."
Dornikal similarly avoids being eaten, the creature bellowing in anger as it goes to submerge again.
((Have at it with held attacks!))

Dornikal runs up and stabs it in its head and calls out the triumph of his god,
"Dumathoin!"
He then pauses, looks down and his shredded chest and says.
"Aye think aye'm gonna take a sit. Right here."
And he does.
If he can see Dornikal's condition from where he is, Coljin will excuse himself saying some healing is needed, and go help him out.
Afterwards he will come back to who he was talking with and ask, "Who else needs some healing?"
Ulmwin, seeing the threats are gone, relaxes a bit. After a short moment he decides to cautiously fly toward his fellow flier, obviously needing to say the obvious first.

Dornikal sits looking at the bulette when Coljin arrives. He comments to the gnome,
"It was big but couldn't hit the broad side of a forge. Ye saw it hopping all around?"
He turns, wincing to point at the hydra,
"Hydra had the right of it, all those heads were a lot tougher to get away from."
Dornikal looks back to Coljin,
"Aye'll be fine, just need to catch meh breath."
He'll look over at Evar,
"Ye know if these bulettes were a mated pair?"
