Sulfas looks side to side as he growls through gritted teeth, turning to the last guy and letting out a roar before untensing and putt his axe away, "We're done? Fine,"

He actively recoils, falling back and trying to scramble away from this metal man "Sh..She...She's in one of the lesser crypts......I dont know which, I've..I've never been there. I try to stay away from all of them....please..please.. I just want to go home." 

Anvil looks around at the others then back to the groveling man.

"Shows us to where the lesser crypts are and then I will lose interest in you," Anvil says. He then gestures at Sulfas. "Do not run or that one will enjoy killing you."

Gaetana smiles as Anvil threatens the man, if he knows anything he'll talk, she thinks.  Taking a look around the room, she sees it is a dead end.  I hope he does talk, she muses, as this place is becoming quite the funhouse.  She steps over to the half-orc and checks to see if there is anything interesting.

Anvil give me an intimidation check.

Gaetana go ahead with an investigation check. 

18Investigation  

You look over the body and do a general search of the room. You find approx 46g hidden around the room. The dead cultist doesnt have much on him aside from his robes and his dagger. You do find a chain round his neck that has a small black iron mace with a human skull as the head. You can roll a religion check if you want to see if you recognize it. 

Anvil Intimidation: 1  

"Hey guys, I found some loot.  I'll pocket it for now and we can divide when we get out of this place."

She looks a bit closer at the necklace, Religion  9

Anvil, while the man is scared already he doesn't seem to be pressured into moving from his space and just keeps repeating "I wanna go home...." over and over

Gaetana,  You've seen this symbol before, probably in passing somewhere during your adventures, but it just isn't ringing any bells. 

Grunomar hunkers down by the scared man and talks to him in a low comforting voice, "Hey, it's ok, we don't want to hurt you.... we just want to find our friends and go home, do you understand? Tell us what we need to know and you are free to go, we'll even confront the others to give you time to get out of here, isn't that right everyone?"

Persuasion (w/Inspiration): 17

Gaetana nods to what Grunomar is saying but doesn't offer support beyond that.  She takes the necklace over to Anvil, "you recognize this at all?  It's ringing a bell, but I can't quite place it."

The mans sobbing slows "I..eh...I've never been down to the lower crypts, but ... go down the other hallway. Past the spring, I dont know how far it is or whats actually down there besides Memvas. She is old.... and scary.... If they took your friends it would be to her"

Anvil looks down at the chain Gaetana is holding.

"It looks unpleasant," Anvil finally says. "A death cult perhaps. I know very little of the false religions."

But he does turn it over in his hands just in case it is something he's seen before.

Religion: 4  (+5 if History would be relevant too)

Gruno nods encouragingly at the man as he speaks, standing up when he is finished and looking at his fellow party members, "Well that wasn't that hard was it?"

He looks back at the man and sizes him up for a moment. "I don't have to tell you how this ends if you double cross us right?" He gives the man a big half-orc toothy grin and nods toward the door as if to say "off you go then."

Anvil, in your travels this is something new to you. 

The man scrambles on all fours at first and stumbles a few times as he runs off into the darkness. 

Anvil watches the man scramble away and stares into the darkness for a few more moments, then he turns back to the others. 

"You have found useful information," Anvil says to Gruno. "Or directions to a trap."

He looks back at the darkness again.

"Either way, our direction is set then," Anvil says and heads back the way they came to find the other tunnel and the spring that was mentioned.

"Wait!" Gaetana reaches for the man before he leaves but is unsuccessful.  "Shoot, I was going to ask him about this necklace.  Just hoping it would give us any insight as to what's ahead?  Gruno, Sulfas, do either of you recognize this?"  She shows them the necklace as they head out of the room and follow Anvil.  

"It's a thing to sell I guess," Sulfas states with a shrug, "Are we going to get going or should I make a choice and see if we can live with it?"

Gruno takes look at the necklace closely as they walk along.
