Hamish gently reaches out to touch Ida's elbow. For once, he is grateful for the whisper as he says, "A door just closed somewhere else in the house. Darwin would have no reason to do that. I think someone is still here."
Darwin dashes over to Ida, all pretence of stealth now abandoned. As he moves he asks Caper telepathically, “Is it someone you recognise, is it Antonius?”.
”Caper has seen inside the room upstairs, someone up there is injured and bleeding. We need you up there. I am trying to find out if it is Antonius”, he says to Ida, seemingly out of thin air.
Ida motions for Agnarr to come over to them. She whispers "someone is hurt upstairs, and someone else is still in the house or has just left through another exit. Find them, inside or outside - Darwin, use Caper to explore the rooms, Agnarr- subdue whoever you find. Hamish, quietly come upstairs with me and keep your ears open."
She moves to the stairs and up them as quickly as she can.
Agnarr approaches, listens, and nods before turning away, pulling his hammer from the loop at his hip as he vanishes deeper into the house in search of whoever was heard.
Hamish silently falls in behind Ida, trying to pick out the sound he heard earlier or anything near it, but the rush of adrenaline causes him to only hear his own thudding heartbeat.
"Nice work Caper", Darwin quietly praises the faerie dragon in Sylvan as he becomes visible by the blood trail.
Still invisible himself he whispers to Agnarr, "Whoever it is looks like they are trying to leave by the back door. Why don't you head round the outside and cut them off?".
"Come on, we'll follow the trail, you go first", he sends to Caper telepathically as he makes to sneak along the trail.
Agnarr nods and bolts back towards the front of the house to try and cut off the assailant.
The gutt wound that had been slowly killing Antonius stitches itself back together and you see the colour slowly return to his face and his eyelids flutter.
The blood trail leads Caper and Darwin to the rear exterior door to the building.
Antonius slowly opens his eyes and blinks as he looks around not quite understanding what's going on.
Agnarr leaves the front door just in time to see a bald dwarf walk out of the front gate of the property. He runs after him but by the time he reaches the street there is no sign of the dwarf amongst the hub bub of foot traffic.
Darwin and Caper follow the blood trail around the house, meeting up with Agnarr at the front gate to hear the description of the figure seen running away.
"Stay invisible but see if you can spot someone of that description from the air, and see where they go", he send to Caper, who flies off excited to do a bit of stealthy hunting.
He follows Agnarr back into the house and they make their way up to the room where Antonius was found injured.
"Looks like whoever it was got away. A bald dwarf you said, right Agnarr?", he says updating the others.
"How is he doing?", he adds motioning to Antonius.
'I...I remember my business partner, Brennan, came to visit. He was asking about the journey and the contract. He seemed very excited that we'd gotten it. Insisted I tell him where the plans were so he could begin work immediately...' he trails off as if the memories are fuzzy.

((I totally didn't forget that Caper would recognize Antonius XD))
Caper reports back that it is in fact Antonius
“It’s Antonius”, Darwin says urgently.

Agnarr approaches, listens, and nods before turning away, pulling his hammer from the loop at his hip as he vanishes deeper into the house in search of whoever was heard.
Darwin chuckles at the thought of using Caper.
"Would you look about and see if you can find anyone else please, Caper?", he sends telepathically.
He then starts to explore the house himself, not straying too far from Agnarr.

Agnarr moves through the house stealthily and quickly, scanning each room as he moves.
Caper is the one to notice a subtle trail of blood, presumably on a boot, that lead towards the rear of the building.
Ida reaches the room and finds a bloody and unresponsive Antonius.

Ida runs to Antonius and kneels down trying to access the damage. Medicine Check: 6
She can't really see the damage so she sends as much of her will as she can to him to try to help him.

Darwin and Caper continue to follow the trail of blood.

Hamish helps Antonius sit up gently, letting the man lean on him for support.

Cursing he heads back to the house
Darwin and Caper follow the blood trail around the house, meeting up with Agnarr at the front gate to hear the description of the figure seen running away.
"Stay invisible but see if you can spot someone of that description from the air, and see where they go", he send to Caper, who flies off excited to do a bit of stealthy hunting.
He follows Agnarr back into the house and they make their way up to the room where Antonius was found injured.
"Looks like whoever it was got away. A bald dwarf you said, right Agnarr?", he says updating the others.
"How is he doing?", he adds motioning to Antonius.
Agnarr nods, 'Big beard, loose tunic, bald head.' he describes the figure as best he can.
Caper returns to report that he could see no bald dwarves.
'When did you guys get here?' Antonius asks, still clearly confused
"We came to check on you Antonius, and you had been attacked. What do you remember about today before now?"
"Sorry for being blunt Antonius, but you terrible. Someone has really done a job on you", Darwin says being completely blunt.
He looks around the room for any clue as to what happened, if there was a struggle or if he was surprised.
Investigation: 11+2=13
Darwin notices nothing abnormal in this room.
