Hamish extends his charged hand directs his will at the stone beneath the second orc's feet, twisting the earth and soil into a jagged and uneven patch of ground.
((Casting Mold Earth on the space beneath the orc that Agnar hit, making it difficult terrain.))
As the ground beneath his feet shifts and warps, Agnar is caught somewhat off guard but compensates quickly, using the terrain to trip the Orc as he shoves him into the wall. The Orcs head bounces off of the stone jarringly, and as his body rebounds it is met with the swinging fist of Agnarr which crunches sickeningly into its nose. The Orc slumps down, sitting almost peacefully against the wall as if asleep, if you ignored the blood running from its nose anyway.
'Ida!' he calls as he tears the Orc's Battleaxe from its holster and tosses it to her in one fell motion.
Ida turns to see the battle-axe and grabs it with both hands. She continues turning to build the momentum and attempts to slash into the dazed orc from his gut to his shoulder.
To Hit: 12+6= 18D Damage: 8+4=12
The orc falls as the axe snaps through his clavicle. He slumps into a pile and is dead before his head hits the ground. She turns to Agnar to see the status of the other orc.
Having missed with his slingshot, Darwin moves forward out of the gate and reaches for the well of power within himself. He whispers under his breath, "Well Stranger, I hope you haven't abandoned me".
"Is it safe to get the others out?", he then whispers to Ida.
Hamish glances at Darwin and says, "I'm going to check on Volen." His eyes roll back in his head as he reaches out with second sight to see the token he planted.
"Let's make sure both of the gates are open so that people can get to safety. We need to get Antonius free- now. He's one hell of an asset at a time like this." Ida takes the battle-axe and looks at Darwin. She wants Agnar at her side, and Hamish so he can keep looking for Volen's movements. "Darwin- get the gates open and start getting them out if they are willing. If not, just make sure the main exterior gate is open so we can run if needed." She begins to move towards Antonius's guards direction.
Hamish's eyes refocus as the trance is broken and grabs Ida's arm almost in a panic. "Volen is asleep. If we can take her hostage, the other orcs in the caves may not put up a resistance."
T"That's a risk, others could feel like Gruuk and abandon her immediately. I also don't know how strong she is so I'm not sure if we can take her without Antonius. If she's asleep, let's try to get him free so he can help us. I'm sure he has been trying to do something to escape already."
As you enter the main space of the cavern, you find 6 Orcs in the space. Two are standing outside Antonius cell, while the other four are sat at the tables eating breakfast. The four at the table are slow to react but the two at Antonius cell draw their weapons and advance.
The two Orcs standing by Antonius' gate charge immediately upon seeing the prisoners enter the space, drawing their heavy Greataxes as they do.
One takes a swing for Ida but the edge of his blade scrapes off the chainmail she still wears as she turns away from the slash. He growls as his ax hits the ground.
The other buries his Ax into Agnarr's exposed shoulder, the southern islander roaring a challenge, or possibly just roaring in pain.
As the Orc pulls back his weapon, Agnarr grits his teeth, his eyes bloodshot and his muscles tense. He swings his borrowed ax two-handed, returning the blow and driving it into the Orc's chest. It stumbles but doesn't fall. Blood begins to stain its teeth as it snarls back at the Islander, who spits a bloody mouthful in its direction.
Hamish slides past Ida and Agnarr, making sure they're not caught in the effect and aiming at the four orcs at the table. He lets the confusion well up inside of him and become a burst of iridescent energy. He opens his mouth to scream, but only a coruscating wave of chaotic color flashes from his mouth and envelops the table full of orcs.

The orc falls as the axe snaps through his clavicle. He slumps into a pile and is dead before his head hits the ground. She turns to Agnar to see the status of the other orc.
Agnarr grabs the club from his dead Orc's belt and passes it back to Hamish. 'Just in case.' he says.
Turning to Ida, he says 'Pass me one of them axes and let's go kill the rest of these ****ers.'
Hamish takes the club and flexes his hands around both the club and the keys, nodding and ready to follow Ida.
Having missed with his slingshot, Darwin moves forward out of the gate and reaches for the well of power within himself. He whispers under his breath, "Well Stranger, I hope you haven't abandoned me".
"Is it safe to get the others out?", he then whispers to Ida.
Darwin, you swear you hear a woman's laughter in the distance.
Hamish also hears it, oddly.
Darwin whisper to the others, "Well I think they know we are out, we weren't exactly subtle. Do you hear her laughing?".
He looks around for any cover.
Perception: 10+1 = 11
You can see one small alcove in the wall that would probably conceal one small person from a distance but nothing of any real use.
'Lets just go kill the buggers.' Agnarr growls, retrieving the Axe from the Orc that Ida killed.
Darwin looks to Ida, this was not her plan.
”Maybe cut off the head of the snake, and the body will die?”, he whispers with a shrug.
Hamish glances at Darwin and says, "I'm going to check on Volen." His eyes roll back in his head as he reaches out with second sight to see the token he planted.
Volen, it turns out, is a heavy sleeper and you find her asleep.

Agnarr grins and slaps the flat head of the ax into his palm, 'Ooooh I've been looking forward to this'
Darwin nods and takes one of the two sets of keys. He heads back into the cave where the prisoners were.
”Time to go. Cade, can you help me lead the way, and make sure we have a path to the outside?”, he says quietly.
Hamish's eyes refocus as the trance is broken and grabs Ida's arm almost in a panic. "Volen is asleep. If we can take her hostage, the other orcs in the caves may not put up a resistance."
