Coffee and pastries are being served as you sit, Leosin Erlanthar smiles "I am a member of the Harpers and along with the Order of the Gauntlet." He gestures to Ontharr Frume "Thanks to you we've tracked this cult , but they have dispersed some heading East and some heading West. We need you to spy on the ones heading West. Hiding in plain sight in a huge caravan leaving today around noon. You will need to be hired on as guards or whatever employment there is. Complete discretion should be observed for we are trying to find out where this treasure is being taken and why. Follow the Cultists and avoid killing them."
In the window behind the monk you can see the more distant light in the sky which makes you think it might be 8amish. Those that drank last night have a slight hangover.
Frume says "Manage your time well, the caravans has a prompt schedule." He and Leosin take out tokens of their orders and lay them on the table Frume says "Choose which one you want. Don't let anybody see these unless its necessary, You best go and find employment now."
(OOC: Ah... I see. Glad to see reading comprehension remains yet not my strong suit. e_e We can just assume he quietly followed along then)
"I... u-uh... one question, I suppose." Nobody pipes up and points a spidery finger at the tokens. "Why only one? And, uh... forgive me for not, u-uh, perhaps being the most sharp witted this morning, but what are they to be for exactly? Are they yet other members of either of your order we can expect already on this caravan, or m-might they be used in other ways that uhm... I'm not quite following on." He asks with a sheepish grin.

Thufir reaches for a symbol of the Order of the Gauntlet and places it in his pocket, saying, "It'll be good to have allies to fight the evil we've seen. These cultists are up to something big it seems. How are we to find 'employment' with their caravan? Have you any connections with them?"
Frume says "From what I heard. There is a wagon hauling ale and other spirits that needs sober folks to guard the inventory. But if that's taken you'll have to find one on your own."
"Hah! Guess we'll have to find something else then!"Thufir says with a boisterous laugh. "Where is the caravan meeting? We can head over and see if they need any swords for their trip."

Nobody breathes a sigh of relief as soon as Thufir at least seemed to make the choice. But then as he opened his eyes to regard the others once more, it only then registers that there had been 2 /set/ of tokens for each order. Not just the one each for the party. Grimacing, Nobody appeared lost in thought for a bit there, before mentally sending his familiar over to grab an Order of the Gauntlet token as well. "If the caravan is large enough, I'm sure there will be plenty of spots left for any role we're to play. Which, uh... most of which should be guards in the event something goes sideways. Fargen listens through the dialogue intently. "It's not a choice between the two, is it? Shouldn't we make contact with any who are willing to aid? Nobody, the Harpers should appeal to you yes? We can split up and work in pairs if that'd be less conspicuous... Where did that scoundrel Doyal head off to now?"
You make it to the staging grounds for the vast caravan that will soon leave. Unfortunately the only teamster hiring is the Ale and spirits lory. There is only three people at this rather large wagon a teithling looking alert, and an old grizzled dwarf making perpetrations to leave and the dwarven cook packing her pots and pans.
Before, Nobody had appeared thoughtful at Fargen's request before solemnly shaking his head. "From what little I know of the harpers -- and it's not very much, mind you -- but... you'd be mistaken on what would appeal to me on that front." He smiled faintly and briefly looked as if he might add more following a bit more thought, only to shake his head.
"I have to stand by my concern before. If anyone else wishes to hold the torch as it were, then by all means. As for Doyal, I wadger he's figured out some other angle to pursue this matter by, and hope he stays safe." He further remarks. And on that note, once the others are good and ready to go, he is sure to bid the two agents goodbye in a formal bow, before following after the others.
Later on at the Staging Ground...
Nobody, an ebony skinned and lanky in figure tiefling, slows down upon spying the other tiefling. At his shoulder at the time and currently playing with his white locks of hair and bullish horns is a winged monkey of some kind; who after a time is gently and absently shooed away. With the critter momentarily out of the way, Nobody readjusted the hood of his travel cloak, took a breath, and but on his best smile as he moved to catch up with the rest. "Greetings and salutations!" He called out in the approach. "Apologies for the interruptions, but might we treat with you 'fore you part? A-as we may be of a service to you." He requests, losing a bit of nerves towards the end but recovering admirably quick. Pitch Black eyes down to the sclera again side-eye the tiefling at that point. But for the most part, his attention returned to the grizzled dwarf as he silently hoped the other party members might follow-up had they not already spoken up.

The red-hued tiefling in leather armor gives the dragonborn a wide smile. "Very good!" His lips and tongue are a pale white. "For we expect everyone to carry their weight." His smile lands on the slight tiefling, relaxing somewhat. Letting the joke settle, he glances back at the elder dwarf. The dwarf's response is unrecognizable as he mutters about his paperwork. It's far from clear he even noticed the tiefling at all. But the tiefling does seem satisfied when he returns his gaze to the pair. "Right, you can call me Lorban. What are your names and where are you from?"
"Lorban? Hmm... Doesn't quite sound like the usual derivatives from the black blooded side of our ancestry, but-" Nobody continues to softly ramble for a bit in blissful unawareness while rubbing his chin that his thoughts escaped his lips. If not interjected, then by the time it dons on him that he has, the tiefling immediately hunched over a bit and pulled down his hood, hoping to make himself look smaller.
"N-... Nobody. M-m... My name. Call me Nobody. It's a, uh... as odd as it sounds, it is the virtue of a sort that I chose to live by." He eventually mentions after and give a sheepish grin. "Call me Thufir!"Thufir says, holding out his hand to give a, stronger than necessary, handshake. "I've been on the road since Greennest with this one," he says pointing to his dwarven friend, "and picked up this Nobody on the way. Where is this caravan headed anyway?"((insight 23))
I think Thufir at the moment is assuming that everyone in the caravan, including our new companion, is with the cult, so this should be interesting to see how it plays out
"You don't say! I'm from a fair ways north and along the coasts. We'll need to do some catching up."
Lorban makes an exaggerated sideways lean to look past Thurfir's broad frame and regard the dwarf. "We're headed west to Baldur's Gate, and then north to Waterdeep...Did you say Greenest? Can you believe I was just there? Visiting a friend during a layover. From the sound of things I left in the nick of time."
Nobody leaned back as his sinewy tail flicked nervously behind him. "U-uh... sure, I suppose. Though I doubt we walked the same circles, it would... uhm... I look forward to speaking with you more later." He flashed a weak smile. He then looked to Lorban's original dwarven company and asks of Lorban, assuming the pair were too busy or distracted at the moment, "And who might those two be out of curiosity? Fortunate ones like you?"
