"My family hails from Port Damali, yes. I was vacationing down at Palma Flora as well, being forced to take a break from my academics. And I agree, there is a lot more to this situation. The sahaugin storm the island and sinks into the sea directly after." Vivien takes a sip of water as well. "I'm not entirely upset my vacation was cut short, I just feel bad to these people who lost their homes. What's on my mind currently is trying to get a hold of one of that seadog's firearms." She gestures to Crispin. "If I can just disassemble it, measure the dimensions of each part, map-out the blueprints, reassemble... This can do so much for my family...!" She mutters, excited.
Lyla nudges Vivien with her shoulder. "Perhaps you could go ask about seeing them once all of this is over. Knowing how it works could help make them more efficient. I do want to ask the more experienced seafarers a question anyhow."

Crispin, unaware of the machinations being hatched to get hands upon his pistols, decides Xan'drila and would make a perfect accomplice for taking a close look at this ship.
"A'ro, why don't you find the first mate and see if they have a need for extra hands and where the need is most desperate?" Crispin suggests in his most friendly manner. "If Xan'drila here is going to lend a hand as well I think it best she be familiar with her way around a ship. As you find us duties, I shall teach Xan'drila port from aft and the other essentials..."
Crispin Barbarby will then bow slightly and nod his head in the direction he wishes to leave Xan'drila. "Come, come! I shall show you all about the ship and teach you more than a thing or two. By the time A'ro has our orders for us you'll be a first class deck hand!"
Crispin's main goal is to tour the ship and maybe poke his nose into a place or two he shouldn't. He has no designs on anything larcenous or such but one always wants to know their options and knowing what is about is never a hinderance.
The elven woman nods to Crispin and says "By all means, lead the way" and pays attention to his explanations taking note herself of what they see or discover.
@A'ro, Crispin, Xan'drila since your gonna help do the ship duties
You can be a look out for any danger ahead of the ships (Perception Check)
Doing some heavy lifting like pulling the ropes, setting the sails? (Athletics Check)
You can create a powerful gust of wind (Roll your Spellcasting Mod)
or whatever your character can contribute to the ship.
@Crispin If you want to poke around the ship do me a (Stealth Check to see if you can manage to snoop in without getting caught and Investigation Check if you don't mind!)
Crispin of course looks for the easiest way to help: Perception - 18 Crisping brought Xan'drila along on his tour of the boat to not only show her around but to use her as an unknowing distraction and look out. I’ll roll Stealth twice hoping I can use her to help and give me advantage? If not then just first roll… Stealth - 19 or 23 And finally to see if I find anything worth finding. Investigation - 17 …

"I am not strong enough to be able to lift that" says Xan looking at some crates "But I can be the lookout I'll climb up there and let you know if something is coming" Tiding words and action she climbs up the crownest and spent some time scaning the nearby and far waters in search for any trouble.
As the rest of the crew worked, Vivien would look around for a vial of perfume, empty or somewhat full. She'd also question any refugees if they were willing to trade for their perfume as well.
Lyla would walk with Vivien as the fellow half-elf went asking for perfume. As they stop to ask, she would ask if any of the refugees knew tales of large, golden eyed sea creatures.

Crispin as your doing a look out, the job is very boring. it's one huge body of water and no signs of any danger be sides of dying of boredom, you called out Xan to take turns to be on look out. Xan this is your first time being on look out and you don't have idea what to look out for but you saw some dolphins swimming at the horizon.
Crispin you took the chance to snoop in while the crew is doing their job to check what is this ship carries with them, after a while you notice that this ship carries a cargo and a sign says "Alchemical Supplies, Danger Do not touch" you were to busy looking around the room and heard a loud cough from the cleric boy behind you. "It's not polite to snoop in someone's private storage!" Aurelio replied to you. "I won't tell the captain about this, if you do me a small favour! I don't want you and your friends getting punished by the captain."
Vivien as you look around the ship, you found the pregnant half-elf as she looks up to you as she was using her watermelon scented perfume. "Y-you want my perfume? sure I can give it to you in exchange for some small trinket or whatever you have in hand! no weapons please I'm a noble, visiting a relative here in Wildemount"
Lyla could you roll me a Persuasion with Intelligence check to see if the refuges knows what your talking about. (It's straight 1d20 plus your INT mode which is 2 I believe )

A’ro will begin to work his way around the ship looking for any sails and riggings that need to be tightened. His time as a sailor coming to the forefront as he just disappears into the work. After making sure that everything is secure and safe for a gust into the sails he gives the appropriate warnings and the casts the spell.

Vivien would frown searching her backpack for any trinket, but can only find supplies and tools, nothing to appeal to a noble for a trinket. "Sadly, I do not have any particular trinkets on my person, but what I do have I can offer is an abundance of knowledge. You are a noble, yes? I myself come from the noble Iranapha family of Port Damali; the only daughter. Seeing that we are heading to Port Damali next, I can trade you some sights that can accommodate your time here with your relative. Does that sound like a fair trade?" She would flash a smile to the noble as she extends a hand. "My full name is Lady Vivien Iranapha, of the noble carpenters of Port Damali, at your service."
"Aurello, my friend! I didn't hear you sneaking up on me," Crispin says as friendly as he can be. "And heyyyy, why you sneaking up on me??"
"Snooping? No, no, no, no... You have it all wrong. I could care less about the cargo, my friend. I'm just patrolling down here making sure none of those creatures are trying to get in from below... Or worse. The sea holds many dark wonders and on a day when it sunk an island, it is best to take no chances, am I right?" Crispin continues, putting an arm around Aurello and leading him around the cargo hold. He points here and there and explains that if some monster were to attack from below they could perhaps cause leaks or cracks or buckling. None is good on a ship. And if everyone is above deck and not watching for the first signs... Why we could be sunk before we knew we were under attack!
"Come now, my friend... Walk and patrol with me. Four eyes is better than two, as they say. No? But tell me of this favor you need. If it is within my power it shall be done. What kind of friend would I be otherwise?"
Lyla you found one person that knows on that "said" creature you mention, you can tell the refuge gives you a nervous glances and whispers to you. "That creature you mention is The Great Leviathan Uk'otoa! do not engage with the him or he will devour your pathetic existences..." Lyla you can tell that this "person" have gone through a lot and whispering to himself in a strange language rocking back and fourth then back to common. "The end will soon devour us all...hahaha! we are all doom to die!"
The noblewoman smiled at you and she thinks your adorable in a childish way trying to impress their parents. "Sure why not I'm really curious about what is the culture of Wildemount, being a Tal'dorien it's pretty new to me! I'm Ashera of House Sylvalur and thank you for saving me!" She extends her hand at you and gives you the perfume at your hand at the same time. "Since you wanted the perfume so much, i can give it to you...i could always buy it in Port Damali's famous Spa!"
A’ro you did a pretty good job manning the ship all by yourself and putting your experiences to good use compare to Crispin, you saw the crew is very impress by your feat of strength and thanks to your gust spell, you can see the ship is sailing faster then before and looking out at the sea you saw land ahead of you and you estimated that you will reach there the next day, possibly early sunrise depending on the weather conditions.
"Well...I was about to fetch something from the storage until i saw you enter the room, I was about to call you out but I don't want to cause a nuisances to everyone on the ship" Aurello explains his reasons and Aurello entertains your behaviour and listening to your conversation about the ship defences! "Well...yeah it's true four eyes is better than two, I was hoping that you could get some supplies from one of those people here!" He gives you a list of people to take supplies from as you carefully read the list you saw a familiar name pops out on the list. "Iranapha's cargo" and one seems to be a shopping list of food ingredients?. "You're a man of reputation, you could figure this out! and It's almost evening please call your friends to dinner at the captain's quarters!" Aurello pats on your back and headed back to the storage room to take care of business.
After a while at the crow's nest, and confident that they are not being followed, and seeing that they are gaining speed Xan'drila descends. She was so focused on check this that she almost forgot to look ahead the entire time she is up and, in fact she doesn't see the land ahead until she is back at the deck.
She sees, however the half-elf pregnant woman talking to Vivien and she approaches them.
"Hi Vivien. Wellmet. I am glad that you were able to made it. Plese excuse the orders before, but time was on the essence. Tell me, do you need anything? Can I do anything for you to be more comfortable? "she asks the woman. It's not that she hasn't noticed that she is a noblewoman, but she treats her as an equal. In her mannerism and tone this is not entirely because she doesn't care of the half-elf to be a noble, but because she is used to treat with nobles. Vivien sees that she conducts herself as one of noble birth too.
Crispin, not sure if he should be confused or insulted, folds the list Aurello gave him and tucks it away to be dealt with later. In the meantime the presumptuous cleric did have one good suggestion... Food. With one last look around, Crispin shrugs and decides it is indeed time to gather the others and grab some vittles...
A 'thank you' is mumbled in response to the information given. The refugee still gets a side-eye however as she starts to walk away. At least a name was given. It would make research go easier. The mumbling seems to cause her some unease, as a nervous look forms on her features. Lyla looks out to the ocean, keeping an eye on the weather and waves until called for their meal.

Vivien's eyes sparkle with happiness and inspiration as she accepts the perfume and bows her head. "Oh thank you, thank you, Lady Sylvalur..! I promise I'll make good use of this...!" And sitting beside her, she would start to work upon the vial of perfume, weaving her hands over the vial as magic visibly starts to effect the perfume. "I just suddenly got the inspiration for a use of this, I do thank you dearly for this gift and if I may ask what is it like in Tal'dorei?" She'd ask, not even looking to the noble before her as she is fairly focused on the vial. She would also uphold her bargain a tell her about her favorite places in Port Damali and what her noble family does for the city. Once the elven woman from the island approaches them, Vivien would pause her infusion and look up to her, heeding her words. She smiles up to Xan'drila. "I am quite okay, thank you. Would you care for anything? I still have about two gallons of water in the jug." She nudges the jug with her elbow before her, letting the sloshing of liquid be heard. "You are quite handy in combat if I must say...!"
