Sanctity whispers back, “I wouldn’t doubt it. If it is then we have three terrible choices. Leave the child behind, now with one less parent and the other parent will most likely take revenge. Take the child with us to have who knows how many years study on it. The last one to end the child’s life. Unless you can think of other options that are less…disasterous.”
"We should take the child with us. If the child is a werewolf, there might be a way of removing the curse. That would be best for the child. But, if we do take that action, we should be prepared for the other parent to come after the youngster." Brenward whispered back to Sanctity.
Tom will, with the child's permission, attempt to boost him out of the pit. He will do this by putting the kid's feet on his hands and then putting his arms straight up.
Athletics 15
Then Tom will investigate the hollow sound beneath his feet. Investigation 7
Tom will successfully bring the child upward with fair ease. As the child crawls out, he looks around at the party members. Back under, Tom will continue to investigate the hole, but it's probably his ears playing tricks on him as the hollow echo never sounds again.

Tom crawls out of the hole (Athletics 4 ) and rejoins the rest of them. "Let's secure the werewolf corpse so we have something to show for our work, and then I agree, let's help the kid find his people." Tom will go over to the werewolf and first check if there are any parts of it that might be worth salvaging before turning it over (teeth, claws, etc.)
Survival 13
Once he has done that he truss up the wolf's legs to make it as easy to transport as possible.
Tom (Because I don't want to have you reroll until you get out the hole) finds that the wolf's fangs and eyes are quite a lot on the market these days. He grabs the wolf gracefully by the legs.
"It's in ... the town and I don't really know where my friends are..." The boy says shyly.

The child jumps backward, afraid, and squirms to turn himself to the side to start running. The boy seems to have gotten himself in the forest awfully fast like he's done this before...

Grudnik notices the illusion and turns back to the child, "So you have some magic about you. There is no reason to be afraid of us. What do you know of the werewolves around here?".
He holds onto his crystal and uses his control of magic to read the child's mind without outwardly appearing to do so. He just reads the surface thoughts for now.
"I think this child is a little more than meets our eyes. I suspect our dear librarian would be interested in talking to him." Brenward says while keeping a grip on the child. "Perhaps it is time we head back to town."
The child, as Grudnik reads, is only thinking about escaping the monk's grip and tricking the party in order to escape.
