Body. Other than the dagger wound, the only visible wounds on the victim are a few bruises on her legs. The kind of stone that makes up the floor here suggests that there should be abrasions on her knees or elbows. Left hand. There are small smudges of still-fresh black ink on the victim’s left hand. Right hand. The writing on the door is in blood and seems to match the victim's. The width of the lines matches the size of her right index finger.

Body. This kind of rigor mortis is usually found only in bodies that have been dead for at least twenty hours. Body /Corridor. Other than the dagger wound, the only visible wounds on the victim are a few bruises on her legs. The kind of stone that makes up the floor here suggests that there should be abrasions on her knees or elbows.
Corgretor listens as the others reveal their findings (I'm assuming no one was keeping it secret), "Well, seems she didn't crawl over here, she was dragged. And somehow a left handed individual wrote on the door with their right hand, ha! And last, but not least, they've been dead longer than we've been here. Did I miss anything?"
Tel'ure stands up from the body and faces everyone else.
"Correct on the one assertion, Corgretor, but I believe incorrect on the other. The body has indeed been dead for over twenty hours - when I entered the room nine hours ago, the body was not here. But the stone of this corridor - there should be abrasions. And there isn't. Perhaps she was brought here and placed down."
He looks to the guards, then to the party. "Unfortunately, this does little to actually refute Stor's guilt. It simply means that something more clever is afoot, and I can hear the judgement of 'Stor must have killed her twenty hours ago and placed her here during the night' ringing in my ears already. A false, ignorant assumption. No, we need to find our actual killer. I suggest we take these clues under consideration as we investigate further, starting with the smith. We need to know who he gave the dagger branded with our symbol to. Let us move."
Stor nods at Tel’ure in agreement “To the smith, then. Although I am curious where the ink on her hand and the fabric came from.”
As they walk, Stor tries to engage Harold into conversation “What can you tell us of Vang and Team 3? We hold them no grudge or ill intent. We don’t even know them. What cause do they represent here?”
< br /> "None of the teams has a sponser yet." Harold Informs Stor with a frown. "None of you have yet made a name for yourself, and thus why would I know anything about what team 3 is about or not about." he shrugs, clearly not wishing to give Stor any more information than that.

Koraldur glances up as you all enter his shop, with the officer and two guards. "What this be all about then?" He asks, looking over the grim faces.
Tel'ure crosses his arms. "You recall, yesterday, that we came to you, as a group, to request our weapons be marked with our team symbol? A member of team three was found stabbed to death with a weapon that none of us owned, marked with our symbol. Tell us - it was a gold-plated dagger. Whoever brought it to you likely did so alone, without the rest of us. Do you happen to remember who that was?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Stor shuffles his feet nervously, “You may recall we told you we had lost a badge when we visited you yesterday. Whoever used it to get the team symbol engraved must have arrived after we did. Surely a lone individual would stand out when most others arrive as teams. What do you remember?”

Corgretor takes the opportunity to look around for anyone else working the forge, an apprentice or such, or anyone lingering around watching them too closely or otherwise behaving suspiciously.
Koraldur frowns and shrugs, eyes running over the group of you. "Sure I remember." He says in a gruff tone. "A man stopped in the forge a while after you all left. He was wearing a habit and hood with a Team 2 brooch. He asked me to engrave the Team’s symbol on a dagger." He glances from each of you, obviously looking to see if any of you react to that news. "Can't say which of you it was, as he kept his head down the whole time, and I assumed he was ashamed at having forgotten the dagger, which is sometimes a spare or secondary weapon."
"Well, he wasn't one of us. And that person has killed someone with that dagger." Tel'ure sighs. "Stor, perhaps now is the time to use that object location spell. We find the brooch, we find our killer, I'm assuming."
“Perhaps”Stor responds to Tel’ure “But I have some more questions for the first.” Stor turns his gaze back to the Smith “What do you remember of the dagger? It didn’t have the look of a backup weapon, too ornate. Did anything stand out to you?”
Corgretor nods to Stor's questions, "Also, you may not have seen his face, but could you describe his build? Or his voice? Did anyone else interact with him while he was here? Anything you remember could help find justice for a murdered innocent and save another."
The smith screws his face up in thought, but then shakes his head. "Can't say there was anything out of the ordinary about the dagger, nor can I rightly say the person's voice wasn't one of you. It was a man, that is about all I can be telling ye." He looks like he would really like to be of aid, but just doesn't know anything more.
Corgretor gives the man a friendly smile, "Thank you, you've been of great help. Sorry, one last thing, are there any other shops open around here around that time? Or anyone usually in the area, guard or food cart vendor, something like that?"
Stor thanks the Smith as well before nodding to Tel’ure “Now is the time, then.” As Corgretor asks about other potential witnesses in the area, Stor moves to find a quiet place outside the smithy while remaining close to the others, sinks to his nears and reaches out in prayer. Clasping his holy symbol, he fixes the Team 2 badge he was given and attached to his chest in his mind and prays. “Tamera, I beseech thee in a time of need, help me find what was lost and taken from me so that I may continue to serve your will.”

The smith shrugs. “There is only the Artisans workshop.” He says. “You can check with them if you wish.”

Calling on your goddess, you sense the direction to your broach. Moving towards it, you move thorugh the halls and soon come to one of the main guard posts. Laying out in the center of the area, covered by a blanket, is the dead body of the woman from outside your door earlier. You sense the broach is in her clenched fist.
