"I detected no poison in the coconuts earlier," Torla says. "But I'm not waiting around for canteens to be made. We need to find Erik now." She walks out to where Imras appears to be inspecting some tracks. "You found something?"
Bean sighs, as a Bit of frustration sets in, but in realizing it far more important to find erik than carry a bowl of water. "You are right Torla, but im carrying the shell just incase we can use it".
Bean goes over to the water. Uses the shell to scoop water and drinks then stuffing the shell into his leather, And jumps up from one knee to join his friends.
Brystel, Unfortunately you have none of the fruit exposed. The fruit from the coconut that was bust open was scraped out of the Shell and left on the beach when Bean was suffering from the berry poison. You have several unopened coconuts in the cave however.
Erik, You and Korrigan are making good time. The sun is starting to go down, But it's still 4-5 hours until it sets over the horizon. You have now crossed into the Grasslands, Fields of shoulder high grass that stretch on for about 300 feet before you come to the next treelines. You have crossed these grasslands before and you know where to step and where not to. Avoiding the known "Hollow earths" Korrigan suddenly stops in her tracks, Dropping her nose to the ground. She shoots you a "We're not alone" look. Dropping to one knee beside your friend, You trust her instincts. Perception check Erik. Roll one for Korrigan as well. Korrigan has advantage because of her keen sense of smell.

Korrigans ears shoot up and her eyes wander to the left of both of you. Noticing her move you follow her eye line, You cant see anything in this tall grass. Quieting yourself you instead Listen, Relying on your hearing. You hear something moving threw the grass, your not sure how far away it is. It sounds small, Then you hear something else moving to the right of you.
Korrigan Looks at you with a "What are we going to do?" expression on her face.

Erik nods back to the trees behind them, then quickly backtracks so he can get out of the tall grass. If he can make it to the treeline, he's going to attempt to climb up to a good perch.
Not a issue, you bolt back to the treeline. Finding a solid tree you practically throw yourself up into one of the higher branches. Korrigan follows you to the tree and gives one more look around before climbing up into the tree with you.
From this sightline you can see grass is moving but you dont see what is moving the grass. Korrigan lets out a soft growl.

Korrigan Moves to another branch and stares into the grass, She is watching the grass move.
as you ready your bow, you hear a growl come from the grass. It sounds low and like a canine. You know what this is, you've dealt with them before. Parting the grass and coming into view, Teeth bared with its nose close to the ground. A Wolf, It is followed by another one. These Wolves look smaller then the ones you have dealt with before, These are Omegas. Outcasts that were to small to be of any use to the pack that Prowls the forest to the north.

Erik will direct Korrigan to hide as best she can in the limbs of the tree and prepare to pounce. Stealth: 13
Then he'll ready another arrow.
My problem right now is that I've never played a beastmaster ranger before, so I'm not really sure what all I can have Korrigan do and still be able to act on my turn. Pretty sure commanding her to do anything other than move means forgoing my own action, at least at this level anyways.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Korrigan will use her reaction to pounce on the second wolf from her hiding place above. Attack with advantage for being unseen: 23 Damage: 3 plus 7 for the sneak attack.
Also, since I'm assuming that 17 hits, the wolf needs to succeed on a DC 12 strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Korrigan, seeing her opportunity leaps out of the high branch and digs her razor sharp teeth into the wolfs neck. Taking the wolf to the ground and biting down into its flesh, The wolf doesn't even make a sound as its life is taken away from it. She holds her grip on the wolfs neck, the Feral look of a beast in her eyes as she shakes its lifeless body in her jaws.
Korrigan suffers 4 fall damage. From the height of the tree.
Each Wolf Omega only had 10 hp. Korrigan slaughtered it.

Erik remains in the tree for a moment, scanning the area to see if there are signs of any more wolves. He gives a brief sharp whistle to Korrigan to get her attention and makes a hand motion for her to do the same.
Erik's Perception: 6 (On the off chance my vantage point gives me advantage: 10)
Korrigan's Perception (with advantage since smell would be a factor): 21
Erik, looking out over the grasslands you see no more movement.
Korrigan, after releasing the lifeless body of the wolf from her jaws. Gives a quick smell around the area and then looks upto you, Having not caught the scent of anything close by.
Everyone else, What are you doing? Looking for Erik or attempting to bore holes in the Coconuts for use as canteens?

I don't know what Korrigan's stats are, so you'll have to add her bonus to the roll.
Erik's Perception: 17
Korrigan's Perception: 19
Edit: Just saw your private message. So that's +4 for Korrigan's perception, total of 23 for her check then.

Currently, If you want korrigan to do anything. You have to give up your action for her to act.
Korrigan Moves into the back of the tree and lays down on a higher branch, Vanishing from view.
The Wolves are going to attempt to climb the tree. They will have disadvantage because, Wolves dont climb trees.

(Whistles sharply) Nice, one point away from max on both rolls.
Brystel, you spend 5 minutes stabbing into the coconut to no avail, you have scratched the tough exterior but thats it.
Erik, Your arrow finds its mark and strikes the first wolf directly in the eye. It falls to the ground, no longer moving.
