“A tip?” Noey looks askance at the owlin. “Sure. Don’t wear two kinds of plaid at the same time.” She’s pretty sure that’s not the kind of tip he meant. “My name’s Noey.”
"I'm Javenesh. Do you know what college you plan on taking next year?"
"I'm Rhydian; probably going SilverQuill. Appreciate you helping us find coffee; will help get this lots brains going so they catch everything for orientation. We'll head over to check out the Biblioplex with drinks in hand."
"Well, considering that I work at Bow's End Tavern, it would kind of be a crime not to help you."
"If you know it would be a crime, then it seems my reputation as a performer has run ahead of me," Rhydian says with an over-the-top smile. "I'll make sure to find an eve when you're there to perform for the patrons."
OOC: He's well aware that he's laying it on with a trowel. :)
"More customers are more customers. Giving some other first years the tip about Bow's End would help more than anything else, really."

"We have good customer service."

Tulli noted that the tabaxi staffer seemed busy at the moment. She decided to take a look at the posters on the notice board.
She sees five different posters- one advertising the Dead Languages Society, one detailing the Dragonchess Club, one with information about the Strixhaven Show Band Association, and two about job applications- one for server at the Bow's End Tavern, and one for ticket taker at Strixhaven Stadium.

"I teach Beginning Computational Magic, which is available to first years. But all of the colleges have their pulls."

“Flyers for some clubs, but nothing that sounds right for me. You should take a look though,” Tulli began. “There’s also some job openings. Getting a job sounds good to me. The money I brought won’t last forever. And…maybe it would be a good way to get to know more people.”

Amber writes down the contact info for the Dragonchess club and looks for a roleplaying games club on campus (she’s a little geek at heart xD). Also, is there like a retail store she could work at? Amber has retail experience from when she worked at the chocolate shop. She doesn’t urgently need the money (she gets an allowance from home) but she figures it might be a way to make more friends.
“Arrr pee gee?” said Tulli, tilting her head. “What’s that? Is it something you cook? Do you want join a cooking club?
“That actually sounds pretty neat! I can start a fire just by snapping my fingers! But I’m not really supposed to do that indoors. Unless someone says I can. I, uh, accidentally kinda…set a gnome on fire once.
“Poor Scooter. It wouldn’t have been that bad if he hadn’t be holding a bottle of cooking oil at the time.”

Amber smiles tolerantly. “RPGs are like games. And I can cook, just not very well. I usually had nannies to do it for me.” She raises an eyebrow. “You set a gnome on fire???”

She doesn't see anything advertising a roleplaying club, but it's likely that there are a few clubs that don't have their information on the board.

Amber resolves to ask the next second year she meets about a roleplaying club.
After following Javanesh to the Bow's End Tavern, Rhydian wisely lets Noey go ahead of him to get her caffeine fix. After getting his own drink, he takes a few moments to look around the tavern as he lets it cool a touch.
"Now that we know where to find this place, we should probably get to the Biblioplex and look around a bit. We'd not want to be late for orientation and miss something important. Perhaps we should bring something for Tulli; it might be entertaining to see her with a nice dose of sugar and caffeine," he says with a grin.

He notices a few students laughing and joking around, mostly third and fourth years. A stout female dwarf prepares their drinks.

Bryella frowns, “Oh, that’s too bad, I won’t have you! Hopefully next round of classes! Well have a great day!”
And she heads over to where Tulli is once she notices she is in the area as well. “Whatcha find? Anything good?”

“See anything you like?” Tulli asked.
“Maybe the Dragonchess club,” Amber answers. “I don’t see an RPG group on campus.”
