Bryella reaches over and grasps Tulli's hand to calm her. She then leans in and whispers, "Might be that coffee you're drinking. Me? I stay far away from that stuff!" Once Tulli has calmed down, she lets go of her hand and tries to figure out where they need to go.
“Yeah, that is most definitely gonna have that effect. Maybe start with just a little, and work your way up this semester? I can take that off your hands today,” Noey holds her blue-skinned hand out for Tulli’s coffee.

Rhydians look around the room is interrupted by a wince at Tullis words. "Yes, you might want to take a break from the coffee. It seems to be making you...jittery."
"I have a feeling they expect us to sit at one of the desks for orientation. Hopefully it's straightforward and we can get about our business."

“Um, ‘kay,” said Tulli as she handed Noey the coffee. “There are people who drink this every day? Wild.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Noey throws a smile at Amber, then blinks, then looks ahead, then fidgets with her coffee cup, then reaches into her pouch and pulls out a deck of cards and starts absentmindedly riffling and cutting, shuffling and flipping them back and forth while she looks around the room. This is clearly a coping mechanism.
Sleight of Hand: 11
...the shuffling is fine, but not much more impressive than your average card shark. Once or twice she has to look down to recapture an errant card or stack, though nothing goes flying onto the table or the floor.
"Sooo... Tulli," Noey says, as students continue to file in. "How does one get to call oneself the Destroying Angel? Is it, like a childhood nickname? Some kind of gang title? Oh, did the last Destroying Angel die in a horrific truffle hunt?" Then her eyes get wide. "Can there be only one!?" Then her eyes narrow. "Are you royalty?"

Tulli blinks. “Royalty? Me? Mother is an herbalist. I grew up in a cabin in the woods outside a village that smelled like horse manure more days than not.
”And ‘destroying angel’ is my favorite mushroom. It’s suuuper poisonous! So, you know, don’t eat it. I…kinda just gave myself the name. ‘Cause I’m gonna be a famous druid that bards are gonna write songs about one day! So I had to have a cool name.”
Noey nods along, and far from being disappointed that Tulli isn't royalty, her smile grows. "That's some... ambition. I'm super proud of you, so many people have a hard time believing in themselves." She pokes her own arm with a long blue finger. "Not that hard, look, here I am. How do you *not* believe in yourself? We can do all the things we want to." She nods in a self satisfied way and goes back to playing with her cards. "What thing are you gonna do that'll make you famous?"

“What am I gonna do to be famous? Huh. Dunno,” answered Tulli. “Is that something you plan? In the bard stories, trouble always finds the heroes. But…I’m gonna join the Green Parliament—-the druids who taught me what I know. They’re not super famous. Or even a big group. But they’re strong and know everyone who’s anyone around the High Forest!
”So…get strong. Get known. Get tavern songs about how amazing you are!”

"Oh! my village bard already sings songs about me!" Bryella exclaims brightly, but then furrows her brows a bit, "though they aren't exactly about how amazing I am.." she trails off a bit, then goes back to her typical cheerful self and smiles at her new friends.
The snarl of energy at the center of the hall seems to flicker for a moment, before a calm voice emanates from it. "On behalf of the faculty and staff, I would like to welcome you to Strixhaven. During your stay at our prestigious school, the Biblioplex will be your second home for research study, and leisure. To ensure that you're well acquainted with it, you'll be participating in a scavenger hunt around the building." A small piece of paper materializes in front of each of you. "The sheet given to each of you has a list of clues that will lead you to different places throughout the Biblioplex. For each clue you solve, you have a chance of winning a prize. Now, good luck to all of you!"

Bryella stares in wonder as the paper materializes in front of her. A scavenger hunt? Oh boy, she's never been any good at something like that. Hopefully, her luck will have changed by coming here. She picks up the piece of paper and begins to read.
The paper has five clues written on it, each in the form of a small riddle.
Clue 1. Forget about trouble, sorrow, or plight. Step forward and become ensnarled in light.
Clue 2. Alumni commission works when they retire, seeking promising mages to inspire.
Clue 3. Each group deserves a meal for their investment. Serve up this list and enjoy your refreshment.
Clue 4. These leafy beds aren’t always what they seem. Give them a pat and see what you glean.
Clue 5. Some stars are ancient, enduring, and bright. But others—maybe you!—are born on opening night.

"Well, someone has a flair for drama. Still this sounds like fun." Rhydian will read over the paper in front of him; trying to memorize as much of it as possible in case he misplaces it.
