Options race through Ran's head. They have no idea whether the running figure is a threat to them. The one killed in the clearing behind them might have been the threat. The one ahead might just be running because they think Ran and Meili were allies of the dead man.
Ran shouts as they run.
"We just want to talk to you," Ran yells.
Not wanting to unnecessarily hurt the person if he can help, Ran uses his hands to provide a blow that might slow the runner down (if they don't stop when he calls out).

If Nalomanterys is able to get within 60 ft of the undead, he will cast ray of frost. If it hits, it will lower the wight's speed by 10 for a round... I'm not sure of the wight's natural speed, but it might be enough of a difference between the slow and those with longstrider that Ran and Meili might be able to keep pace without using dash for a turn.

Any chance Nalomanterys might know / remember if sleep can work on undead? Arcana: 23
If it he thinks it will work, or if he isn't sure, he will cast sleep on the clump of ghouls. If he knows it won't work, I'll try something else.
Nalomanterys moves 30 feet closer to the fray, picks a pinch of sand from his pouch, and flicks it into the air. "Obdormisco!" he shouts, and the particles of sand transform into a shimmering curtain of sleep dust, that weighs heavily on the eyes of his enemies. Sleep lvl 2: 27 hp of sleeping enemies.
Edit: For goodness sake, it says in the spell description that undead are immune. I assume Nalomanterys would know how his own spell works, to the extent that the information is in the spell description. With DM approval, I'll change my turn:
Nalomanterys rushes 30 ft closer to the fray, and sprays the [enemy]* with a blast of cold wind from his finger. "Gelo!" he yells, as rime quickly builds up around his outstretched index finger and then shoots a ray of frost that bites deep into the pallid flesh of the undead.
*((target will be wight if it's standing up (so i don't get disadvantage) or otherwise one of the ghouls)).
Ranand Meilidispatch the Wight. It ceases its struggles against Danica'svines.
After a moment's hesitation, Danicamaintains her concentration on the spell, in case you need to use the difficult terrain to slow down the ghouls.
