Buddie, there's nothing that causes you any concern as Haliday starts collecting silver coins. Thinking on Aftari's suggestion, there might be something to it, as the orb seems to be about the right size to fit into one of the two indentations.
What is everyone else doing as you're coming to the realisation what the orb could be used for and Hal'iday is gathering raw materials for silver bullets?

(Just how big is the pile of Silver coins? Don't necessarily want to encumber oneself but now that immediate area is clear there's no sense not taking some?)
Dr. Buddie considers the pile of coin. Perhaps it is some kind of tithe paid by those who once came here? An offering of some sort? As Haliday has seemingly proven it's not some odd trap or such, the doctor shrugs and suggests "We may as well, I guess," before taking up some of the coins for himself.
There are several hundreds of coins you reckon, even after Haliday took fifty or so. As you grab pocketfuls of the silver coins, you all realise that they must be quite old indeed, as the faces minted on the back of the coins clearly show some royalty, though none any of you are familiar with. Buddie, even for a man studied as yourself, the king or regent on the coins is well and truly ancient, beyond a doubt, but you have no idea just how old the coin may in fact be.

(We have two globes now, yes? The one from the first room that we threw something over? And now this one? Are they equivalent sizes? Seem to fit the holes above the other door?)
The orb in the central chamber is about the size of a human head, whereas the one you acquired right now is about fist sized. Inspecting the doors quickly tells you that the second orb you're looking for is roughly fist sized in size as well. As you let your gaze wander over the room, your eyes do fall upon the door leading you south, further into a side passage of the tomb.

“Shall we move on then?” Dr. Buddie asks the room, Shelley, upon his shoulder, silent but vigilant. The owl will take off and swoop through the door, once opened, to try to give us a hint of what lies beyond…
Morrow rolls his eyes and takes the lead for heading into the southern passage. As the owl swoops forward, he'll slow his pace to give the bird time to scout out as well as he carefully looks about for traps whilst moving forward.
You open the heavy stone doors and peer into a dimly lit chamber, closely following Shelley, as the owl dives into the musty hall beyond. After several tense moments, the owl lands among some pillars and turns its head over its shoulder, peering at you and beckoning you to follow. WIthin, you see an oddly shaped hall containing a humble stone altar against its back wall. The altar is heralded by stone pillars adorned with humanoid bones artistically arranged in spiraling patterns. Upon the altar gleams a tarnished gold circlet bearing a cracked peridot. Beside the circlet sits a sphere of black crystal, glowing with internal light.
Looking at the circlet, there's little doubt in your mind that this is the artifact that the Nightseer Sage, your somehwat mysterious employer, has ordered you to retrieve. You also look upon the sphere and determine, that it is about the right size to fit into the mural of the large door in the central room.

As Shelley lifts the circlet off the altar, you hear a low rumble, thud and then a hum. Turning around, you see that the door to the stairs leading back up to the surface have slammed shut. Shelley lands on Dr. Buddie’s shoulder with the circlet and without issue though.

Apart from the sseemingly magically sealed doors, nothing stirs in the crypt and after a few tense moments, the tomb returns to the previous eerie quiet.
