Petmailer targets the spider near Spiderbait and hopes to produce another effective ball of flame to strike it. If the opportunity arises to flank one of the spiders, he will move into melee.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Vrah swings his battle axe over his head and crashes it down on the spider, nearly cleaving it in two. It hisses in pain. With the force of the blow, you hear and see some strands of webbing snap. The spider drops down a few feet in the web and scrambles to regain its footing. Looking around, you can see that the one set on fire by Jimjar has been spreading the flames around as it desperately attempts to scrap the alchemist's fire from its skin.
Spiderbait calls out "the fire is weakening the web! Someone help Yuk-yuk. We need to fall back!"
Phodoxia is up. She is in the same vicinity as Spiderbait and Yuk-yuk, Vrah and Jimjar.
Phodoxia, hearing Spiderbait's shout, sheaths her daggers and grabs Yuk-yuk, disengaging with the spider and helping the other goblin climb up and away across the shuddering web strands, in the direction that the goblins indicate.
Seeing what Phodoxia is doing, Jimjar comes over and helps, providing them some cover in case a spider comes at them.
Shoowaa is up followed by Derendil, Kisiki, Eldeth, then the Spiders at the end
Recap:
two spiders are dead - the one by Derendil and one of the 3 near Spiderbait,
Of the other two near him, one is on fire scrambling around ignoring you and is nearly dead, and the one directly engaged with him is relatively unharmed
The one engaged with Eldeth looks severely wounded, but Eldeth also seems to be hurting
The one that tried to shoot a web at Kisiki looks unscathed. Seeing that these tasty morsels are dangerous with sharp thingies and fire, it has been slower to approach
The wolf spider seems to have a different venom from the other spiders. Now that it's managed to find a soft spot to sink its fangs into one of the larger spiders, it definitely had a major effect.

Derendil gives off a primal yell and comes rushing across the webs up above several of you. With his claws extended, he leaps down through the webs toward the one that shot its web toward Kisiki. He lands on its back and begins ripping at the creature with his claws with a savage fury you haven't seen before.
Kisiki is up, followed by Eldeth, then we'll see if there are any spiders left when it's their turn.
Three are dead. One has continued to take damage from the fire as a result of spreading the alchemist fire into the webs and looks like it's barely hanging on.
The other two (one fighting Eldeth and one that was just bit by Shoowaa near Spiderbait) both look bloodied and seriously wounded.
CORRECTION: I believe I failed to count the damage Vrah did with his battle ax. Between that and Shoowaa's wolf spider bite. That one is dead as well. I'll shift Kisiki's leeches to the other one (the one that has been on fire). That will finish it off. It was barely alive.
Choosing not to risk walking on the webs which are rolling like waves from the movement of combat, Kisiki spawns a swarm of leeches on the spider near Spiderbait.

Roll a d4 for the direction: 1, north; 2, south; 3, east; or 4, west. This movement doesn’t provoke opportunity attacks, and if the direction rolled is blocked, the target doesn’t move.))
In a strange sight, the body of the giant spider begins to crawl with leeches that begin trying to find places to latch on and suck its blood. The spider reacts in desperation and begins moving north, to the side and away from Spiderbait and the others before it collapses.
Eldeth is exhausted and wounded. She raises her warhammer over her head and brings it down toward the spider.
That spider is weakened as well. It's bite is deflected by Eldeth's shield. After attacking, the spider tries to move away and Eldeth takes the opportunity to swing back at it before it leaes her reach.
Between the leeches, alchemist's fire and sticky webs that have ignited, that spider finally expires. It collapses onto the web and more strands snap, then a whole section of the web tears loose and the spider carcass drops toward the cavern floor below. The last one alive is the one that had been fighting Eldeth. It is now moving away, dripping blood and gore from the wounds it has taken.
We are back to the top with Tanis, Vethna and Petmailer if anyone wants to take a shot at the fleeing spider. If not, you guys can drop out of initiative.

Tanis does not want the last spider coming back, especially after what it did to Eldeth. Moving so he is in a stable spot on the webbing, but still has a shot at the fleeing spider, he nocks another arrow to his longbow. Maintaining his Hunter's Mark on it, he shoots.

Spiderbait draws his scimitar and slashes at the spider nearest him.
Attack: 6 Damage: 6
YUk-yuk struggles to get to his feet and disengages, backing up to get out of the range of another spider bite.
Sarith fires his crossbow at the one near Eldeth
Attack: 21 Damage: 7
Spiderbait misses badly, but Sarith has honed in with his crossbow and hits his mark. That spider is looking rough.
It's Vrah's turn, followed by Phodoxia.
Vrah yells into the face of the spider in front of him and swings his BattleAxe down onto the creatures head with two hands.
