Malirys begins walking toward the ship, wondering if she should mention the strangest of encounters to blossom or ignore it and keep her cards close to the chest.
as she is about to be within earshot of the others she turns back for a moment before continuing: “feel free to browse as needed, I’m going to make sure the ship doesn’t leave without me.”
the staff is a priority right now.. she thinks to herself.
I will move us along, if you'd like to stop somewhere to shop before you leave, let me know. If I feel it would have taken too long, I will let you know.
Everyone;
You all make your way through the streets back to the port where you see Three Earring's ship. Crewmates can be seen walking around on the top deck as they tend to the ship. You all make your way up the gangplank and onto the top deck as well where you are greeted by Dajarkal, the female Half-Orc. "Hey! Welcome back! I wasn't expecting you to return, you ready to go back to Palma?" She asks in a curious tone.
About 30 minutes past the time that Three Earrings said they were going to depart, the captain can be seen walking up the gangplank and onto the ship. She looks around to get a head count then heads over to the door to her quarters. "Is everyone here!? Good, let's go!" With that, the crew begins to prepare for debarking and the ship begins its trek back to Palma. The first day of travel goes by fairly well. After roughly the first 5 hours of travel, you notice out on the horizon, an island. To anyone who saw it on the way to Damali, you would notice it's roughly the same shape as what you saw that one night when you saw the island disappear and reappear.
To those who continue to watch the island;
As you watch the island, you see that its roughly a medium sized, mountainous island. Its hard to make out but it appears to be covered in trees and appears to be drifting along with you, with the height of the island slowly rising and lowering.
Everyone;
The night draws in fast as time seems to fly by when out on the open sea. The sun sets, creating a beautiful mixture of dark blues and purples before it is taken over by blackness, stars filling the sky and the moon giving off a very generous night.
(If you'd like to do anything during the first day, RP, Question, Or nothing, let me know, Otherwise I will move us along tomorrow night.)
Korgen kicks the deck in a frustrated fashion next to Ant
“This is… not precisely what I was looking for. Strange staves and pirates and irritable blacksmiths. Not to mention secretive allies. Still hasn’t explained the letter.”
Ant looks at Korgen " I feel the same...As of yesterday, I was living my life in Palma getting ready to provide security for the festivities. Now here I am getting ready to find a staff for a pirate who wants to sell it to a mystery buyer. That's on top of the business with the blacksmith"
Auraani stays mostly silent, thinking back to her reasons for being here. "I suppose we're all here for different reasons, I was just passing through. I tend to keep moving. It all works out better that way..." She looks like she might say more, but just looks out at the night sky in silence.
A majority of the night goes by quietly and as all, or most, of you are sleeping, the ship hits some rough waters, causing it to rock a bit more than usual, causing any light sleepers to possible wake, but this quickly passes and the ship settles back into its normal rhythm. The next day comes and a beautiful sunrise shows itself on the horizon. You all wake up and perform your daily rituals before the ship makes it back to Palma. After roughly 4 to 6 hours after sunrise, the ship makes it to Palma, or rather, where Palma uses to be. The ship stops a little closer to shore this time and sets anchor.
(Feel free to get any last RP in with the crew or captain before you set out.)
“Ah the pirates life… malirys looks out across the water,
…it’s not for me,” she quips to the sea and she sips her tea.
She watches the angle the ship has on the shore, looking for places they might be able to run off without being obviously seen, just in case the staff is too powerful and coming back to the ship isn’t an option…
Three Earrings comes out of her room and addresses everyone. "Good afternoon everyone! This is as close to Palma as we are going to get as we are not sure of the situation of the island. We have a boat getting ready soon to take you over to the shore where you can then proceed however you wish. Is there anything you need before heading out?" She asks, more as a curtesy than as an actual interest in aiding. As she speaks, the other crew members ready the larger lifeboat for travel, getting it set in the water and laying down a rope ladder.
Ant speaks up before disembarking "Yes, where are going exactly? Are we to just dive into the water and look for these fish people and your staff? We only have 1 hour of air in these contraptions"
“Why would there be anything down there at all? Are we searching the homes and offices of Palma? Or something under the island?” Malirys smells trouble ahead.
You all notice that the water around the ship is murky and hard to see through, with the only thing standing out are the stray pieces of debris. Three Earrings continues with her answers. "Both very great questions! All we know is that the leader, Selachai, hated the surface dwellers because of what they were doing to the sharks."... (Korgen's moment)
Korgen;
You notice something moving around next to the boat, and out of the corner of your eye, you see something climbing aboard the ship from the port side—a small party of Sahuagin!
Everyone;
Dark Blue is Three Earrings. Light Blue is the rest of the crew.

“Time has a funny way of flowing us where we are needed dear” Malirys comforts Korgen.
after the sun sets she turns to her room and studies her spells for the forthcoming mysteries as they present themselves.

“I was just supposed to meet my… patron, I s’pose you’d call him. Financial supporter? The money.” Korgen muses. “I suppose he might be dead now.”

Korgen doesn’t bother to shout, instead drawing his pistol and firing at boarders on the port side! (Using a point of grit for a Deadeye shot)
