Tommy walks in the bar and looks around. He is a short fella with the look of a woodsman. He will order an ale and it down at a table looking at a crudely drawn made of the area.
"Blast it I got swindled this map any worth the unk used to draw it"
The woman swung open the door to the bar, holding a black box in her fleece-covered arms. She was absurdly tall, around 6'07, fitting because she was a minotaur. It was clear she was out of town, considering her outfit was rather lavish. She wore closed white and blue robes, complete with a cloak that trailed along the ground padded shoulders. She also wore a strange sigil around her neck, looking similar to a pentagram. "Hm. There was nobody here yesterday." She chuckled, wandering over and sitting next to Tommy.
She went through the black box, pulling out what seemed to be... playing cards? Hordes and hordes of cards, all adorned with paintings of mystical creatures and battles of yore. "You." She looks at Tommy. "Do you want to play a game?" She asked, smiling.
A half-elf wearing all black with the exception of his brown boots walks into the bar. He is about 5'11", has semi-long black hair, and blue eyes. He looks around the bar before sitting down at a table alone and starting to write in a notebook.
Tommy will jump a little but try and play it of. Ah... hi can you believe this map. I spent my last gold on this map and when I open its just this. He pushes over the map. It has the town in the center and a bunch of trees around it that just says forest. See useless, guess it's the old exploration option. By the by who are you miss? Your a bit fancy for a place of adventure me thinks. You tring to hire a guide or scour? I'm the best in town. He looks around at the mostly empty tavern...I think. He laughs at his own joke. And do you know that tall feller over yonder
Dartz looked displeased. "That map... did a child draw this?" She picked it up, looking it over with a look of slight disgust and confusion on her face. She sets 5 gold pieces on the table and slides them towards Tommy. "That should cover it. Next time, find a competent person to draw your bloody map." She spoke, a condescending tone in her voice. "... and yes, I am looking for a somebody." She does a small magic trick, causing a card to appear in her hand before twiddling it in her fingers. "You see, this town is far too boring for someone such as myself. I simply seek a friend to go adventuring with."
She looks over to the elf, shrugging. "Haven't a clue."
Thank you kindly miss where I come from this is a week worth the wages. He scoops up the gold and tosses the map aside. Well if it's a somebody you need I have a body so I guess some somebody. My name's Tommy.... my partner's Jerry you'll meet him later.... scouts my trade and huntingmy game well none more I guess I guess venturing's my game. He will hold out his hand for you to shake and ask so who are you My newfound partner in a venturing
Dartz would give a soft smile, satisfied with her generosity. "Charmed. I am Donella Morin. Owner of Morin Games." The tall woman took his hand, setting the card in her hand down on the table. The card showed a mystical storybook with rainbow fog billowing out from its pages, a castle rising from its center. The card's title reads 'Storybook Land'. "Anywho." She quickly pulls her hand away. "If we wish to explore, we must get a group of friends, correct? I can't be just a duo." She knelt down, staring face to face with Tommy. "Go ask that elf over there."

Dartz claps. "Aha! Splendid!" She laughs, walking over to her two new recruits. "And please, Tommy, call me Dartz." She patted him on the back forcefully before turning to Phoenix. "So Phoenix, is it?" She asked, awaiting a response.

Dagny walks into the tavern and casually looks around. She slips a small canvas haversack from her shoulder and places it on an empty table. Dagny takes a thin book from the haversack and sets it on the table. She takes her coat off and drapes it over a chair. The young, human woman sits down and looks over her spellbook, studying it.
Walking towards the city, Anima decided to put on a new mask… something innocuous, harmless, yet possibly interesting. Hmm… Human, male, ordinary. Its bones popped, skin stretched and its body warped as it took on the new form. The leathers were a little tight, and (now a) he had to loosen the ties on his supple boots, else the attire would do.
Anima was now ready to do some hard work, be it bashing heads or rescuing maidens, and hopefully find some friends along the way. He had his trusty club, a bag of pebbles and natures magic to deal with any trouble.
Anima walked confidently into the Hero’s Haven Tavern, asking the barkeep for a tankard of the local ale and a bowl of hot stew before walking towards the seating.
You see a middle aged human male, 5 ft. 10 in., slim with straight black hair, light facial stubble, pale olive skin and a spring in his stride. Clad in leather armour, a Blackthorn Stick and small pouch hang from his belt. A robe is slung over his arm and a floppy old leather rucksack is over one shoulder. He gets out a wooden pipe from the pouch and stuffs it with some tobacco, but doesn’t light it, looking around as if for someone who can.
He sits at your table, and as you look at his face you are drawn to his eyes; silvery white with slowly swirling iridescent colours, like the film on a soap bubble. “Greetings fellow traveller along the River of Life.. I am new here. My name is Anima, a simple leaf, looking for some work, friends, or maybe both.”
Cocozan appears to be a middle aged human when his brown-black hair covers his ears, some streaks of white seems to hint age but his bright brown eyes and his slightly apprehensive smile still shows exuberance. He wears his green canvas robe under a leather chest piece with a mace hooked on his belt and a sling wrapped-yet-on-the-ready on his left wrist. He holds a roughly drawn map on his right hand and charcoal on his left, clutching the map close to his chest as his eyes dart around, clearly unnerved with the number of people around.
Cocozan enters the establishment and slowly puts away the roughly drawn map and charcoal. His eyes scans around until it found a light tome being held by what seems to be a young human female. His mind, distracted did not mind all the other sounds he is hearing as he thought back to journals about human manners and etiquette. He made his way towards the table and tried to keep his incivility in check, starting a conversation.
"tome, you have a tome... is it interesting? sorry, small-talk, I am interested in what your tome is about. anything about petrification? Sorry, am I talking too fast?"
He stopped and awaited for a response but his mind darted and started talking again...
"Manners, sorry, my name is Cocozan and I am delighted to meet an intelligent being..." He looks across the table from her and found a human male. "...beings. I am sorry, were you two talking? I get distracted by books and tomes."
He then sputters "May I sit?" which seems to ask the table instead of the people...
