"Son of a biscuit!" Irmiel could not believe it and even made a move as if about to strike the treacherous shadovar down with something from her meager arsenal but then stopped herself. "What is he even trying to achieve here? Guess, he does not know we can activate the portal but why would he want us dead? I mean, why now? Crazy zealot!" From the sound of it, she used her most derogative swearing.
Irmiel shook her head and turned away from the ungrateful rotter not dignifying his little stunt with acknowledgment. "Well, we are in some Netheresian ruins. Very broken ruins, obviously. We can not (all) hop from rock to rock so, I do not think we can really study it." She looked around longingly. "Though that would be very, very interesting..." Irmiel shook her head again. "What I mean to say, let's try to use the portal first."
She turned to the archway and recited the poem using 'twelve thousand' first. And if that did not work but the portal, in general, light up -'ten thousand'.
Standing at 90 degrees to the rest of the group, Lamorak looks more than a little pleased with himself as he watches the group to see what they'll do. He looks on with interest as Irmiel begins reciting the poem, though it's unclear if he can make out what she's saying clearly from that distance. She finishes the poem with "twelve-thousand", but nothing happens. She sighs and begins reciting it again, this time ending it with "ten-thousand". A silvery expanse appears in the middle of the free standing stone archway.
Lamorak looks on with alarm, trying to see past the crowd of people, clearly not having expected the group being able to figure out how to use the portal.

Sistri stands at the edge of the rock this building is perched upon. Before she hears what Irmiel is up to, she starts to cast Command on Lamorak. She shouts the word "Return" as the verbal component of the spell. (WIS Save DC 15) Hoping that she might be able to influence this shadovar and that he actually still has the ability to jump back again, she prepares for him to reappear nearby. She also hopes he might be just as disoriented this time around when he 'lands' so to speak.
Lamoraks face slackens for a moment and his eyes stare into an infinite distance. The shadows around him seem to gather and consume him and he emerges from a sudden gap of darkness next to Sistri. He blinks abruptly and his vision and clears as he looks around. “What….”
Kris grabs his wrist and puts a blade against his chin, “No, dont go anywhere this time.”
Irmiel only glanced at the forcefully returned Lamorak, all focused on opening the portal. But once the ring lightened up she turned to the shadovar with a triumphant smile. "Guess we are not as helpless as you thought we are."The smile changed into a slightly curious and quite skeptical expression. "Seriously, what were you planning? To strand us here? You would be stuck we us because we would not let you get through on your own. What's the point?" She did not really expect the answer but gave the man a few seconds to react then shrugged and looked at others.
"So, shall we check what's on the other side now?" There was really nothing more to do here and should others agree, Irmiel would happily jump through the portal.

When Llwyd told Lamorak traitors were not treated kindly where he was from, the druid could not have expected to have to prove his words. For all his attempt to be intimidating truth was, he had no idea what kind of punishment the Circle would deliver. They were a relatively small community and everyone more less though of one another as family. The worst he knew on terms of retribution was getting extra chores or less playing time, both things that were somewhat of a recurring occurrence during his childhood.
First, he decided, we have to get him back. It was the same situation with the drow wizard. If they left the Shadovar scape losing information would be the least of their worries. They would have a target on their backs and the Netherese avid to pursue it. The satyr’s first idea was to jump and try pulling the pale man with Thorn Wip. He could easily reach four feat in a leap, but that would not be enough. The enemy stood on a floating piece of ground – or should it be called roof? – positioned in such way the it would be necessary to cover ten feat in a single spring. It was possible, but it would take his best efforts and even then there was little chance of success. Sistri didn’t have that much problem with reach and with a precise spell forced the runaway to return.
“We can come here when we get more information.” Llwyd said to Irmiel, before looking to Lamorak and trying to appear intimidating. “For now, the other side should be safer.” He then walked through the gate.

Stallock backs up Kris, standing behind her and her prisoner with a blade in his hands...still dragging the other two prisoners about by rope leashes.
With the strange place behind them, they step forward and through the portal. And arrive at a familiar scene.
The old elven tree home in the middle of the forest is what the group was expecting the first time. They emerge one after another into the main chamber of the home, through the glowing portal on the wall. Lamorak, with a blade to his throat, and a firm grip on his shoulder glances about, almost hopefully.
The group looks around the chamber and see a couple dozen Drow. It's clear that the Drow were not expecting the sudden appearance of the group however...as they're largely sitting or standing around casually, though a couple are standing before the portal looking at the groups sudden appearance in surprise. There are shouts in elven, quickly followed by the sound of weapons being drawn as the Drow leap into action.
Irmiel here's a voice inside her head mutter, "Excellent, now I return to my rightful place...."

Sistri smoothly slips past Lamorak and towards the drow right in front of her. The drow isn't wearing armor unlike the one next to it. It's eyes look on, not entirely surprised, as Sistri takes a slash at it. He raises a hand, a faintly shimmering weave of magic appearing between the two of them, but Sistri adjusts down and slashes across his thigh, drawing blood and a pained hiss. Her second blow sweeps back, catching the edge of the magical force between them and deflecting away.
At the same time Stallock slips across the room to his right, seeking a drow just pushing himself up off the wall and grabbing for his weapon. Stallock mutters something as he approaches and a dark cloud seems to fall over the drow as Stallock attacks.
