Kraig hangs back just a little bit behind Zelvo as the Clerics talk. The dwarf sharpshooter looks around the cathedral assessing any damage or lack thereof the area might have suffered before leaning over to Nina. "Are ye' a religious type Nina? I though' I was once, bu' nah I feel a bit cynical t' it all." Kraig instinctively reaches toward the breast pocket in his cloak before remembering where he was and just patting his chest a couple times sheepishly, looking between the clerics and Nina as if trying to distract himself from the danger they were in not but an hour ago.

Nina lets Zelvo take the reigns in talking to the cleric, focusing instead on Kraig's question as she looks curiously at the church with interest. She considers the question for a moment, nibbling her bottom lip before speaking softly. "Personally, I am not the most religious of people... I focus more on the arcane and technology. But, a few of the others have some religious beliefs, yes. I certainly wouldn't call any of them the religious type though. Rather, more personal belief systems than practiced religion. If that makes sense?"

Rashimi flies until she finds a good spot in the woods. There, she unpacks her smith's tools and the half-formed weapon at the bottom of it all. Taking it out, she takes a deep breath, her mother's voice ringing in her ears as she begins working.
Feel the jolt of each swing of the hammer. The crash as metal slams into metal, shaping, forming, creating. The wind flows through your veins, your arms, your heart.
"You see, Rashimi, the most wondrous part of any smith's task is here, at the anvil. The swing of the hammer is undeniably an act of violence." The Shoanti woman turned, her muscled arms sending the hammer in her hand slamming into an empty crate, which dissolves into scraps of wood and splinters. She looks back at her tiny daughter's wide eyes. "And yet, when we employ it at the anvil, when we apply all our skill and grace, when we act with care and intent..." She drew the freshly quenched blade from its bucket. "The act of violence becomes an act of creation. A reminder that nothing is fixed, nothing is eternal. No matter what your father might say." She winked, then guided Rashimi over to a small station, sized to the two foot-tall girl's stature. "You won't be making longswords anytime soon, but let's start on a coat hook to replace the one you broke trying to swing from it yesterday, hmm?"
The pound of the metal, the light of the sparks, it becomes Rashimi's world for a long moment. After nearly an hour, she steps back, covered in sweat and soot, to examine her work with a critical eye. It was better than before. But not ready. Nowhere near ready.
Nowhere near right for a good story.
After packing her things up, Rashimi ducks through a nearby stream to wash the grime of forging off, then flies to the Rusty Dragon Inn to meet back up with the rest of the group.
You all return to the Rusty Dragon Inn to get some rest for the night. The next morning, you wake up, have some free breakfast provided by Ameiko and are eagerly greeted by Aldern Foxglove, the nobleman you rescued yesterday at the festival. He's also got four small bags with him. "Ah, heroes! Good morning. So I was figuring that I'd go on a hunt in the Tickwood and was wondering if you'd join me. The way you slew those goblins, surely a boar would be of little problem for you! What do you think?"
Coming down the stairs for breakfast, Nina will patiently wait for the others as she enjoys her breakfast, occasionally fidgeting with her hat but otherwise peaceful in the tavern. Upon being approached by Aldern, she will tilt her head with a curious look and fidget with a hint of awkwardness.
"I don't have any particular... Issues? with assisting you. Although, I do feel obligated to inform you that I am not often one of a hunting type? But, if the others agree, I will certainly help."
Rashimi is up with the dawn, and flies several laps around the tavern to stretch her wings before spending a further half hour performing other morning calisthenics. She returns to the tavern in time to hear Aldern's offer, and her eyes light up at the mention of a hunt. "Yes! I would love to go hunting. Will it be a very large boar? Or maybe one with spikes? Or poisonous tusks? What about a flying boar?"
Though Zelvo went to bed positively buzzing from the night's previous encounter, the cleric yet awoken close to dawn the next day, still a touch jittery up until deep in prayer and contemplation in his room; a torn strip of purple cloth bearing stars having been wrapped about a hand and held against his forehead throughout much of the morning ritual. Knowing the moment of true peace to be at end when a warmth settled in his chest, it is with great care Zelvo then folded up the cloth and slid safetly away in his backpack.
"A Hunt? So soon?"The Cleric would later find himself saying upon eventually joining the others for breakfast. "Well... While I'm no stranger to it out of necessity... hmmn... Sure, why not! Plus, it would be a shame if you lost your life to yet more goblins lurking those woods after all the work we put in saving you yesterday." He jokes and grins playfully at the noble.

The archaeologist rouses at dawn, and performs maintenance on his gear, sharpening arrowheads, waxing the bowstring and patching and darning holes in his clothing. He is drawn downstairs at the smell of breakfast, grabbing a nice, hot meal and mug of spiced ale, and sitting beside his companions.
At the mention of a hunt, Kraig smiles widely, a mouth full of oats and eggs, "Aye, tha' sounds like a grea' time." He washes his food down with a long pull from his mug. "When d' we go?"

"While it is more than likely that this hunt will go on into the afternoon, rest assured that we will not be camping. I have no intention of being out in the Tickwood past nightfall. So you will not need to have more than lunch ready." With those concerns in mind, Aldern will purchase horses for everyone at the Goblin Squash Stables, as well as collect three of his manservants and head off.
The ride up to the Tickwood takes about half an hour and while making the journey, Aldern regales you with stories about the high life in Magnimar, but he is also curious about the four of you. "So where do you all come from? And how did you get into fighting goblins?"

But for the first few minutes of the ride itself, a grin thinking back to it bubbles up into a full on chuckle.
