Taken aback, it took Zelvo a moment or two of staring at the 'newcomer' in confusion before finally glancing to the other party membmers. If none appeared any more put off or surprised as he by the situation, even if only just, he'd start to relax but squint at the drow in suspicion. "I... I have.... Oooohhh... I get it now. Makes perfect sense now. You're really good with disguises, ya know that Nina? Or, I guess not Nina."He says, grinning as he waggles a finger at "Not Nina". The smile falters a little remembering the halfling's plight. "Anyhow, uh, prolly aughta talk later, but first to this other business."

You all follow Bethana into a private room. "Ameiko, something's happened to her. Earlier this morning, I woke up and she wasn't getting breakfast ready as she usually does. I knocked at her door, just to see if she had maybe overslept, but I didn't get a response. Something inside me told me to go check inside, again my better judgement. Her room was completely empty, she hadn't even slept in her bed last night! All I found was this note." She passes you a note. It's in an unfamiliar language that none of you can read. "It's Minkaian. Ameiko knows it, since she's from there and she's been teaching me some. I've got a translation on the other side."
Hello, sis! I hope this letter finds you well, and with some free time on your hands, because we’ve got something of a problem. It’s to do with father. Seems that he might have had something to do with Sandpoint’s recent troubles with the goblins, and I didn’t want to bring the matter to the authorities because we both know he’d just weasel his way out of it. You’ve got some pull here in town, though. If you can meet me at the Glassworks at midnight tonight, maybe we can figure out how to make sure he faces the punishment he deserves. Knock twice and then three times more and then once more at the delivery entrance and I’ll let you in. In any case, I don’t have to impress upon you the delicate nature of this request. If news got out, you know these local rubes would assume that you and I were in on the whole thing too, don’t you? They’ve got no honor at all around these parts. I still don’t understand how you can stand to stay here. Anyway, don’t tell anyone about this. There are other complications as well, ones I’d rather talk to you in person about tonight. Don’t be late.
-Tsuto
"Tsuto's Ameiko's older brother. It was a scandal when he was born back in '88. He's a half-elf you see and neither of Ameiko's parents are elves. Even the simplest person in town could realize that Lonjiku wasn't the father and that had him stewing for months. Atsuii never told him who the father was and it's probably due to stubbornness that they actually stayed together. A few years later, Lonjiku sent him off to Turandurok Academy, out of sight and out of mind, without any visits from the family. But when Ameiko turned 10, she learned about him and snuck off to visit him. Five years ago, a few months before the start of the Unpleasantness actually, Ameiko tried to reconcile Tsuto and Lonjiku, but it ended terribly. Ameiko got struck in a heated moment and ran away from town for a year, only coming back for Atsuii's funeral. It was there when Tsuto and Lonjiku got into a big fight. Tsuto didn't believe Atsuii fell accidentally, he accused Lonjiku of murdering her, as revenge for her infidelity! Lonjiku was furious, obviously and hit him with his cane. Tsuto left town after that and no one's seen him in the years since. I don't trust that there's any good in Tsuto being back all of a sudden. Not after what's happened lately. Please, for Ameiko's sake, can you check out the Glassworks and find out what happened to her?"

When the drow man comes out of Nina's room, Rashimi appears less than surprised, giving him a cheerful wave. "Hey Kenji! S'been a while!" She follows Bethana and listens to the whole mess with a frown. "Yeah, that doesn't sound great. We can go check it out! Can you give us directions to the Glassworks?"
At the revelation of Amiko's brother, Zelvo crossed his arms and shook his head with a solemn look. Then he seemed to furrow his brow and look all the more disconcerted, before grimacing and start rubbing his head. "And here I thought I had family problems."He muttered underbreath, then let out a defeated sigh. "You can count on us to get to the bottom of things, and hopefully be able to prove your misgivings to be unfounded. Though failing that, we'll do our best to help sort things out peacefully."Kneeling, if need be, Zelvo puts an assuring hand Bethana before straightening up and regarding the others. "Shall we?"

Rashimi grins. "I grew up hunting in the Kodar mountains, I can do discreet." With a quick flap of her wings, she takes to the air to loop around the compound, darting from rooftop to rooftop and taking cover behind chimneys.
As Rashimi circles around the compound, she is able to look down through a pair of skylights in A1 and A17. In A1, she sees a simple shop containing bottles, windowpanes, and other glasswork art. In A17, she sees something horrifying. She sees the bodies of eight people that must be employees of the Glassworks, horribly murdered and dismembered. Even worse, she sees eight goblins tossing body parts into the furnace and pouring molten glass on the corpses, gleefully shrieking and cackling all the while. In the center of this morbidity is the body of Lonjiku Kaijitsu, propped up in a chair and encased in thick, runny sheets of hardened glass.

Rashimi freezes momentarily upon seeing the bodies, her wings stilling in the air as other images flash behind her eyes.
The blood painted the floor of the cavern in swirls like one of her mother's calligraphy pieces. She would paint every night after banking the forge, its dying light illuminating the strokes of her brush. It had always seemed incredible to Rashimi that the same hand that swung a hammer the size of Rashi at the forge could create such delicate lines of ink.
Now that same hand was limp around her blood-spattered hammer, lying askew and covered in deep talonmarks, like the rest of her body. The creature she and her husband came here to kill was sprawled ten feet away, its mammoth corpse sporting hammerblows to its wings and half a dozen arrows in its throat.
Its mate was still crouched over Rashi's father's body. His bow had been snapped by its cruel beak, which was still buried in his chest from the killing blow. It raised its head, gore dripping from the hook as it screeched, eyes fastening on Rashimi.
She'd been too slow.
Then again, how could a girl no taller than a hunting dog outrace a creature with wings? Never mind that the wings were the span of her house.
Those same wings spread wide as the jubjub bird let out a spine-chilling screech and charged.
Rashimi shakes herself out of the memory as she sees the rooftop approaching, her wings having briefly stalled out. Gritting her teeth, she flflips and flies back to the group, looking a little pale, which is unusual given that she doesn't seem like the squeamish type. "So we've got some goblins in the factory, I think they've killed all the workers," she says grimly. "They've definitely killed Lonjiku, and they're trying to encase everything in glass. They're in the big room at the back, I think the fastest way there is through that door." She points at A1.
"Oh ****..."The softly spoken word came out unbidden the moment Zelvo laid eyes on the returned Rashimi. And with the news to follow he bowed his head, squeezed his eyes shut, and muttered a quick prayer. "... There numbers. How many of them were there? Was... was there no sign at all of Ameiko?"He asked, looking to Rashimi with a solemn expression. A nod is all he had for the follow-up as he took a moment to forehead.
"We'll need one of them alive to confirm something. But for the rest.... no quarter. And could be they'll hear us over the furnace on the approach, so everyone be ready."He warns before moving to take point and trying the door at A1. Though if locked, he'd look about ready to try and kick it open if someone did not quickly step up with an alternate solution.

You could open it either by successfully making a DC15 Dexterity check, assuming that there's a member of the party that possesses Thieves' Tools and the proficiency required to properly use them, or you could bash it down with a successful DC17 Athletics check. However, you all get the impression that either action would draw the attention of the locals, especially should you make multiple attempts.
