Rum nods, "Yes, it is very dark down there. It might help us if we are to sneak down, but may also help the enemy as it will be difficult for all of us to see them, not just you friend Greko".
He turns to Oten, "Are you able to see in darkness, friend Oten? I believe friends Lelith, Ro, Tuto and myself have some ability to see when it is dark, but friend Greko's talents lie elsewhere".
Ro reaches into his bag of holding and procures two lanterns (one hooded and the other a bullseye). "For those who need it, I have two lanterns available."
"If we're talking tactics, after our sneak attack, I can use either Dragon's Breath to take care of the smaller gohmas or Hypnottic Pattern to lock some of the gohmas in place. With luck, Hypnottic Pattern may even work on the Queen."
Greko smacks Ro on the back with excitement "Whoa ho hooo.....Let Greko reach into his bag of holding...ehh tricks....One moment" Greko takes his walking stick, bangs it on the floor twice, whooshes it around his head and transforms himself into one of the spiders they fought in the other room.
"All I have at present are these."Oten holds up one of his glowing orbs. "They'll do fine enough for making my way without scraping my chrome on obstacles, but the range is not particularly high on them"
Ro was slightly taken aback by Greko’s transformation. He knew the lizard folk was a druid, but he so rarely transformed into a beast. “A nifty trick to say the least, Greko. I bet you could scout for us in that form too. Get us a layout of the room before we go in. Have we decided to go in bow’s ablazing or with cloak and dagger?”
"Wonderful, friend Greko. Can you understand me, can you speak?", Rum says as the druid shifts into the form of the spider creature. "We will have to be careful so as not to think you are with them", he adds with a chuckle.
"As long as you will be able to see, friend Oten, that is the main concern. Perhaps if we can light some of them on fire it might provide the extra light needed".
He turns to Ro. "Friend Ro, last time I was down there, they didn't make any move against me they just watched. We might be able to get us all down and ready ourselves before entering the fray. I suggest we test that theory with those of us who can make a quick escape. I suggest Greko goes down first, in the hope they see him as one of their own. Then after that Lelith and myself if we hear no disturbance, followed by the rest of you. You, friend Ro, can keep us all in touch and organise our efforts with your magic, if that is acceptable", he says as the group walk down towards the hole to prepare their infiltration.
Lelith gave a nod to Rumble's suggestion, although, she kept herself clear from Greko and his new appearance. She was at the ready if needed for battle.
Whether if its by smell or some other extraordinary sense, the Gohmas attack as Greko descends into the tunnel. Two move into the tunnel to confront him, a big one, and a small one. Fangs flash and yellow eyes shimmer in the darkness as the Gohmas put on some sort of intimidate display in the seconds before the big one starts to spray webbing. It misses Greko by a longshot, covering its smaller compatriot, which falls back into the dark below...

Tuto scurries over to the hole, sliding on top of a particularly large root and climbing down. Once he caught sight of the action, he balled one of his mittens into a fist and shook it at the spider attacking Greko, grumbling loudly. (Tuto casts Vicious Mockery for 7 psychic damage. DC 15 Wis save)
There is more sounds of movement below as the first, smaller Gohma falls through the hole and back down into foggy darkness, seemingly absorbed by the abyssal black below. The other, the big one attacking Greko Gohma, recoiled as Tuto made his move.

Lelith was not afraid of falling as she was secure in her ability to fly. She decided to do what she did best for her companions as an archer. Draw her bow and nock an arrow at their enemies.
With sounds of battle arising form the hole, Ro concludes that attempts at stealth proved a failure. The elf-dwarf procured his bullseye lantern and lit it before running down the hole. Ro makes his descent down the hole, lighting up the path. Once within 60 ft of the gohma attacking Greko, Ro points at the small, enemy spider and casts Toll the Dead.
Free item interaction: lighting lantern.
Movement: Moving into tunnel to get within 60 ft of gohma
Action: cast Toll the Dead at gohma attacking Greko Enemy must succeed a DC 16 Wisdom Save or take 4 necrotic damage if at full health. If gohma has already taken damage, it instead takes 1 necrotic damage.
Oten carefully watches the opening, look for an opening. When he spots it, he launches his javelin down the hole at the larger gohma. It travels with greater velocity than before, and returns with such speed to his hand that he is able to throw it once more.
The sounds of the spiders dropped further back into the cavern, further away from the tunnel leading in as the body of the big one attacking Greko crumples and falls into the dark...
Kora, worried about Greko, dips into the hole and begins to descend.
