Shavaris listens to her friends that give their opinions and figures, hell why not left? They turn around and she waits as Travin approaches the left guard. She didn't notice Johnathan chatting with the guards as she was so preoccupied on which one to choose. Then, before she knows what is happening, the two guards open the right gate, step through and close it behind them. She stands there with her mouth slightly ajar trying to comprehend what just happened.
After a moment, she shrugs, "Well, doesn't change our decision. Let's get moving." She moves past Travin and grabs the handle to the left gate and opens it up. One last glance to her friends, and she heads through the gate.
Kerwyn decides to deal with this weirdness by ignoring it. He says to himself “Give me the calmness or whatever to accept the crap I can’t change, the guts and muscle to change the stuff I can, and enough ammo until I figure out the difference.”
He walks up to Travin as the others are messing with the doors and pulls out the pistol, asks Travin “Hey, uh, thanks for this. I think it really helped back there. Do you have any more ammo for it?” He looks up at Travin with a grin and then he sees Shavaris sauntering through another gateway, another door toward possible danger. “Whaaa? Not again….”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
I suppose we should follow her, splitting the party never works in our favour. Johnathan walks up to the door and follows Shavaris. He was somewhat surprised that the guards listened to him so well. I must be more charming than I thought.
Delphinium watches Shavaris go into the left door as the pair of knights go to the right. Delph tries to fly in right behind her so she doesn't enter alone squeezing between the closing door with their tiny frame before it closes. Once on the other side the tiny fairy will perch onto Shavaris' shoulder like they often like to and says to her "This is a really big maze. You know, I often like places like this. It kind of reminds me of the feywild. You never know what will happen. Did you see me help those eye things? They seemed really happy to have colorful flower hats. Oh, sorry, thought just popped into my head, back on my topic; places like this full of adventure, puzzles and other fun things reminds me of living in the feywild with my dad before.... well. Nevermind. Anyway, I can't help but think this place used to be fun but now it feels like it's been turned into something bad." The tiny fairy is looking around as if trying to picture what this place used to be like before Blix and maybe even before Jerath.
Shavaris smiles at Delph as they light on her shoulder. "Looks like you and Travin were right, another step closer to the castle."She looks up, way up, "These hedges are soo tall, think you'd be able to see over them to help us?" then she remembered what Ward said, "but be careful, if it doesn't feel right, don't do it."
She stops once she notices the rest have followed her and turns around to face them. "Alright, we made it to the hedge maze, but shhh, do you hear it? there's voices in the distance. But come on guys, they don't sound threatening, so lets try a non-aggressive approach for once? I'll sneak up and see what I can about who they are and I'll come back and report. Promise I will not engage."
Delph waves to the others as they follow and then Delph salutes to Shavaris and looks to the hedges in front of them. The tiny fairy uses their meager druidcraft to put some colorful flowers on the hedge and says to it "You look very pretty with flowers. I can make more for you if you like. I need to peek over you first. If I'm not allowed to please show me in a kind way as I am not of these land and am unfamiliar with your rules." Delph will wait for a brief moment then if nothing happens flutters upwards slowly to peek over the top of the hedge.
“Delph! No going over the hedges. It’ll teleport you away from us.” Ward quickly says, as gently as possible pulling Delph down and keeping them below the hedge line.

Almost immediately, Shavaris returns. She hears Ward's warning and that he was able to stop Delph before they lost them. She puts her hand on Ward's shoulder, "Thank you."
"So just around the bend are a couple of dwarves. They are chatting about planting new hedges somewhere to replace old, dead hedges, and a section of hedge that needs trimmed. Maybe they know the way to the castle? How do we want to approach? Kerwyn, with your history with uh Hoggle, maybe you should hang back a bit."
The fairy flutters back down having been so warned. They look up and seem a bit disappointed but seem to accept they can't fly over. "Oh, thank you Ward. Although, it would be interesting to see where I would be teleported to. For now we hurry to the castle." The fairy goes back to sitting on Shavaris' shoulder and when more dwarves are brought up as being nearby Delph immediately looks at Kerwyn as if expecting them to go into some kind of murder spree. When they don't immediately declare their deaths Delph listens to Johnathan's suggestion and says "We could always just ask them too. Oh! Do you think they are the ones that were playing that game? I still have their funny many sided die. Perhaps we can trade for knowledge?" Delph pulls out the twenty sided die and shows it off like a prize.
"Well, the teleportation isn't as much of an issue as the disorientation. The only reason I got my way back was that I used magic to find Ironsides. Also, probably don't go into the hedges either, I have a feeling it may do the same." Ward says before moving a step away from the edges of the hedges.

Travin skips around the corner, heeding no warning from the others, he greets the dwarves, "hey hey hey! How goes the gardening, Hmmmm? Travin respects a well kept bush, yeh yeh! Are Dwarvses professional bush keepers? Hmmm hmmm??" He temples his fingers and leans in, expectantly.
Shavaris is just about to respond to Delph on the subject of the dwarves, when the junkperson just walks off and heads towards them.. "Travin? Where are you...well damn."
Resolved to continue, she shrugs and follows him and smiles at the dwarves as Travin greets them.
The two Dwarves look up and smile, then one looks surprised as he realizes who, or what, he's looking at. They both think about this for a minute, it's obvious, then smile again.
"Yep! We keep the best bushes around! We keep the whole hedge maze up. It's what Jareth pays us to do!"
One of them takes a moment to load some shovels and other hand tools into a small, Dwarf sized wheelbarrow, and then they get ready to walk off, giving Travin a wave as they start walking.
Kerwyn shouts out to them, “Hey, uh, don’t get me wrong, I like a nice trimmed bush as much as the next guy, but … do you know the way to the goblin castle? Which way should we go?”

Delph flutters to land on the pile of junk that Travin has stopping on the chair they have and confirms "Don't stop at clearing, okay. What never opens? Now I'm curious. Anyway, thank you!"

Travin goes through with Shavaris, probably undeserving in his apparent lack of surprise that people seem to have listened to him.

I could always disguise myself as Jareth and command them to take us to the castle, though I don’t know if they will want to help Jareth.
