"Travin will keeps a look out for a blue bull yeh yeh, many thanks Jek for the informations hmm much helpfuls yeh! Travin will have to see if Birt is better when he wakes hm? If Birt is still angry, Travin may have to use magics on Birt yeh yeh, maybes Jek can help?" With that Travin waddles off and grabs at Adam and Delphinium pulling them low into a quiet secret conversation.
The room is a form of controlled chaos. Conversations. Side conversations. Visiting elders. Gandalf replying to people through mirrors. There are glimmers of things in elsewheres. Shavaris on her knees sobbing. A beautiful woman cut down by a horrid skeleton before it turns the power of the voice on Johnathan. A village going up in flames as a monster made of fire destroys everything in its path...
Gandalf looks around the room, preparing any number of replies for any one of them...
A glance out the nearest window reveals the world darkening, the three brothers speeding toward the horizon...and going below...
And then...
Then...
The room fills with lavender light for a moment, a brief second, before a burst of iridescent white rolls over them. Butterflies, pink butterflies, flutter and flit around the room. Landing in their hair. On their noses, on their shoulders.
All the fuss seems to be coming from a petite young woman with almost platinum blonde hair. She can't help but scream as the star shaped birthmark on her forehead glows brilliant pink...andan alicorn begins to emerge from it. It doesn't emerge far, and at roughly three inches in length is roughly a quarter the size of the alicorn that Delphinium possesses, but it's still there. There's no mistaking it as it glitters in silver and gold over brilliant polished bronze...
For whatever reason, even Skot gets caught up in the magic, suddenly appearing with a scarf around his neck and bomber goggles over his eyes and a huge beard.
A funny thing begins to happen outside. Aughra's jaw drops open, and she murmurs things too low to be heard as she walks across the room and watches the three suns as they come back up over the horizon...and then line up perfectly into what looks, for all intents and purposes, to be one celestial body. They stay just above the horizon and the world doesn't go dark...but falls into a state of perpetual twilight...
"the conjuction..." Aughra says in a low voice... "...has begun."
As the light blinds the room and butterflies flit around wildly, Thea hits her knees at the weird surge of power and the sensation of her birthmark shifting to reveal her true nature. Her hands explore her face and, feeling the presence of the alicorn, she whispers, “Wh-what’s happening to me?” Her lavender eyes are wide with terror and she’s trembling in fear- a far cry from the plucky girl that tried to stand up to Vader and called a Bantha to join her side of a fight. Skot, thrilled with his temporary beard, zips around the room enthusiastically for a moment before he sobers up and flies to land on Thea’s shoulder. Petting her hair, he tries to soothe her. “It’s ok. Your true nature is making itself known, Amalthea. You’re still here with friends.”
"Oh! That's why! You already had a unicorn. Hello! Also Yes Travin I think you are right." The hyper fairy seems delighted as they touch Thea and say "Hello. You are very safe here. We've been looking for you. Glad to see you're okay. I thought you were not. I'm delphinium by the way and as my good friend mentioned I'm the grandson of Queen Titania herself. So you know you can trust my words."
It is at this moment that Delphinium notices the mirror with Shavsris crying. The fairy ears perk up and he seems seliddenly worried. He looks to Gandolf and says "Shavaris is crying! Is that where you want me to go Gandolf? It better be because you have a unicorn now. Here in front of me so I found them and they are safely here. My promise filled. I'm going to go help them now. Who am I delivering the triforce to? I hope they are there." Delph waits one moment for Gandolf to answer then he flies through the mirror to go help his friend. Alicorn strapped to their back and triforce in hand. This fairy is ready.
Thea, still trembling and confused by all that is happening clings to Delphinium’s words. She nods, “Thank you, Delphinium. And for saving us back there. I’m Thea.” Standing shaking on her feet, she looks to Gandalf and Travin. “What’s happening? Please? Who am I?”
Travin chuckles at Skot's reaction and Travin pulls the sprite down to be seated as they approach Thea "you are a unicorn hmm Travin had his suspicions, yeh yeh but Thea exceededs expectation, hm! Thea is a beacons of hope against the rising tide of evils in this story world, hm!, a turnings point yeh yeh, the beginnings of a seconds act heh heh buts this means Thea is also a target for our enemies, hmm? One thats cannot be on the front lines" Travin gives a look of concern to Gandalf as he says this, wondering what the grey pilgrim has planned for Thea; The last unicorn.
Jek feels the suns go out more then he sees them. His magic is tied to the light and the darkness, and he feels the shift in the world. This is bad, something bad happened. He listens to Greko and Gandalfs words, but is in a daze right now. What does this mean, did they fail? He goes to the window and stares at the sky barely listening to the others. This can't be the end, there have been too many sacrifices. Please, Bright Lady. Please, help us.
It's at this point that he notices the butterfly that lands on him. He turns and sees the light burst through the room. And then, the alicorn coming from Thea. "It's beautiful. Thea.... You are who you've always been. It's just your path has been illuminated before you. We are here, and will always be here, for you." He looks out the window as Mother Aughra appears near him. "Oh... That's interesting. What does it mean? How long does the conjunction last?... But there's things we need to do and time has run out. Where do you need me to go?"
"great conjuction is the end of the world..." Aughra says, looking out at the alignment of the Three Brothers. Her fuzzy eyebrows raise from a saddened state, to one denoting hope. "and a beginning. age of division ends...and age of calamity begins. hm. you find last unicorn, hm, and get triforce of courage and the stallion's alicorn but lose triforce of power...you kill vader but lose hyrule castle...you get me but no shard of division... ka is funny sometimes, hm? funny sometimes. you feel that? you must feel that. already world is changing. dark world being born. but like phoenix, hm, hyboria will rise again from the ashes..."
Aughra finally glances back, first at Gandalf, then at Thea, the shocked young woman undergoing an unimaginable transformation before their very eyes.
Gandalf looks at all the confusion in the room like he can't believe what is happening, but shakes his head of shaggy hair and gets back to work. He stuffs the Triforce of Courage back into Delphinium's hands.
"Yes! Go to her! To them! They need you more than anyone else does right now!" Gandalf says as he lays a small mirror flat on the table where he is working. "This should take you straight to your friend! Good luck! As for us...I believe Greko the White has another battle to wage."
He looks at Greko, then to Travin, Adam, and Lelith. He looks at the mirrors. The battle inside the Hagsgate Keep. The Bull running rampant through Hagsgate Village. The army of skeletons pouring out to overwhelm both groups of fighters....
"Where should the rest of them go, Greko? To the Keep, or to Hagsgate village? And what of our...new unicorn? And who will hold that army of skeletons?"
Thea, chosing to focus on the things she knows knows and not the things she doesn’t understand. Standing up straighter, chin held high she looks at Gandalf. “If you still want me to fight I promised Adam’s mum I would help him. And then there’s Malenia and the others. I know I’m not very strong yet…..but I’ll do my best to help prevent calamity and to help you be successful.” She sniffs as she wipes a few stray tears that fell. “I don’t know how I’m a unicorn…I’m just an orphan girl really. But whatever else is happening, I’m still Thea.” She nods as if she’s trying to convince herself and says again quietly, “I’m still Thea and I will do your bidding.”
Greko watches Thea turn into a unicorn....the last one as far as he knows but could there be another? He had heard stories of the unicorns reproducing but had put them aside and thought nothing of theses stories with the world in the shape it is. He listens to the others share their feelings and wonders "Yes what to do now....What should our purpose be? The mother of unicorns is dead but could she be brought back to life? I have a spell that could do just that if we are fast. We can teleport in grab her and get out with Schmendrick. The others go to the bull, their original mission, and slay it. There should be a way to stop the army of the dead from marching out of the keep....Perhaps dispel magic would do the trick...if all else fails destroying the keep onto itself will crush them and keep them there. It is risky but worth a try I think, yes? As for Thea....Travin is correct, she should not be on the front lines fighting....If she insists on coming then she comes with me and follows Lelith and I."
"Travin assumes that the army of the deads are under command of one pivitols necromancer or leader, yeh yeh, does we know who lead that army hmm? Perhaps felling the one what's raised them will force them backs to their slumber? Yeh?" Travin thinks, the wrinkles on his head deepening but the wide smile on his crooked face never leaves, "...and of this bull hmm? It hunts one thing yeh? Perhaps it cans be baiteds to a more advantageous positions for us yeh yeh??" Travin is simply giddy now, the potential chaos, the changes in the world, the progression of the story, it invigorates him.
Greko nods "Indeed, you are right to assume....something is controlling them but what? Was something controlling the king which caused him to be so....maniacal? Ward and his traveling companions made a mess of it killing the king which as caused this onslaught of the bull and the skeletons. Perhaps it was the king who controlled both...."Greko pauses a moment taking in Travin's meaning "Are you saying to bring Thea to the bull so that we might...use the bull? No, no, we can't have her killed that's too much danger. There are those fighting the bull as we speak..."
"no no, not such danger, hmmm? We somehow makes the bull aware that an unicorn is in a place where we dones set a trap! Yeh yeh! Re-directs it away from Hagsgate and towards opens ground hmm? The crystal towers to the north yeh? Or or! We haves mirrors, we could haves Thea on one sides and lure the bull through, off the edge of skylift and into the sea, hmmm Thea would only be in dangers for a second yeh yeh!!"
Greko raises what would be an eyebrow if he had any “That could work if the bull isn’t slain by the time we get there. I would support your decision Travin if you wish to lead that mission while I recover the dead unicorn’s body and see about stopping the skeletons”
"yeh yeh, travin will needs the help of The Grey one, Thea ands a big mirror! Hm! And ands also some to help persuade the beast to go through yeh yeh!" He looks toward Adam and Malenia, regarding their tenacity and combat prowess with great respect and a greedy smile. " Findings the one who controls the hordes of skellingtons wills be more difficulty yeh!" He furrows his brow at this but then a moment later dismisses the concern as not his problem.
Jek listens to the discussion between Travin and Greko. "Hmmm, I good at distractions and illusions. Hmm. Actually..." Jek will move up to Thea. "I know this must be frightening, but this light, this power, was always a part of you. If you let me, I might be able to use some of your light to make the illusion, make it more real if there's a bit of you in it. Here, take my hand. I will mold the shadows, you fill out the details with your light. I will guide you. Trust in yourself and your power, will it to do what you want."
Jek will hold Thea's hand, if she lets him. With his other hand, he will pull some shadows to him, and starts weaving them into the rough form the same height as Thea, standing in front of her. He will move the shadow threads to where he is holding Thea's hand, so they are now both grasping the shadows. "Now, focus on the new power you have. Flow your light down the shadows. If this works, it should make this illusion seem more like... well, you." Jek will continue to guide and help Thea move her power into the illusion, until an exact replica of Thea stands in front of them. "Okay, let's see if it worked." He will release Thea's hand, and sees if the illusion is stable. He's never tried anything like this before, it should be interesting.
Attempting to enhance his Silent Image with Thea's magic, to make it more tempting for the Red Bull.
Thea absolutely let’s Jek hold her hand and work his magic and she tries to let her inherent magic flow freely into his spell. She’s still shell shocked but committed to helping as best she can.
Greko watches the illusion take shape and offers his assistance before leaving to save the body of the dead mare and the fools who got her killed "I can offer a minor illusion to aid in the trick if need be otherwise I would like to take leave"
As the shape takes form Travin's eyes light up "yes! Yes! Nows we just haves to replicates this over a cliff hmmm? Mithrandir! Which mirror cans travin takes yeh yeh ands which way to the cliffses? Come come everyone! Yeh yeh!"
With direction given Travin will pick up the mirror, hopefully one large enough to fit the bull through, and start walking, taking everyone with him who needs to be there to enact the plan and saying a short goodbye to those who are needed else where. He also stops by Birt's sleeping form, muttering something about returning soon before he encourages his entourage's departure.
The doppleganger of Thea is perfect, and nearly impossible to tell from the original. Even Gandalf is impressed, and starts to think.
"We have to have a few of these mirrors. You can take the rest to the edge of Celestia and set them, let it fall right off the edge of the island. Maybe if you take the rest to Hagsgate...but it'll be tricky. The Bull is in combat with your friends right now. Be careful!"
"Travin will keeps a look out for a blue bull yeh yeh, many thanks Jek for the informations hmm much helpfuls yeh! Travin will have to see if Birt is better when he wakes hm? If Birt is still angry, Travin may have to use magics on Birt yeh yeh, maybes Jek can help?"
