Johnathan listens to the dawn guard as they come up with reasons for his sudden changes. He seems a bit confused when they mention that he is less interesting now. I’m not sure what happened. All I know is some sort of spell was cast on me and changed me. I don’t know if it’s temporary or will have any other consequences but I’m grateful nonetheless. He replies to Shavaris. Well my curse was part of being resurrected I guess so maybe it was different for yourself Shavaris. He then replies to Travin. Ran its course? A weird way to put it but I guess it’s not entirely wrong either. We all went through a lot these past few months. I just hope it gets easier from here. As he said the words he knew it was naive and hopeless. They still needed to try and save the world. And Johnathan wanted to defeat the lord of darkness for all that they have done on this realm.
Johnathan is put off guard when Delphinium asks what his plans are now. He didn’t really think past the battles ahead. He contemplates for a moment before answering. I guess I will go home to Kakariko village. I still have a family I want to see. I can visit them as a human once more. He pauses as he says this. He smiles a little at the thought of seeing his family once more. As a boring plain old human huh Delphinium? He chuckles as he says this. Don’t worry Delphinium, I’m still gonna be interesting. I give it a week with the Dawn Guard before I’m back to my moody self.
Ward is rarely seen in the week of downtime. Either tucked in his quarter's harvesting materials or making explosives. Or at the range practicing with his guns with a trainer to get better at shooting. He also visits the library to begin research into Psionics and its users. When the group finally meets again he also has a new pair of gauntlets around his wrists and a smoky bottle hung around his neck. "I agree with Travin, the best course is likely to solve the Labyrinth and then visit the Feywild. We can also update Jareth on the current situation, while he's still quite annoying, I believe he can at least keep the Labyrinth as another ally as things escalate. They are a force to be reckoned with, even if they are keeping to themselves. Once we get to the Feywild I have some ideas, that time dilation, if we can get Delph's father to play nice would give us an opportunity to get a lot done, as well as I might be able to make us some more allies given the time." Ward says as they discuss what to do next. Then going over to Johnathan, "Whenever you wish, and preferably if you have a good memory or something recently from home, I can take you there. Just say the word my friend and we'll find a way." Ward says tapping the helmet he wears. Then to the rest of the Dawn Guard as a whole. "I don't have the words to express how happy I am to be gathered with you again. I appreciate the others, but you are the ones that dragged me into this mess for lack of a better word, and there's no group of living I would rather go through this with." Ward says with a smile

Adam gives a big grin at Ward and says “Right back atcha. Although, I’m not so fond of going back to that Labyrinth place. I still get the heebie jeebies if I see any sizable worms anywhere. And the ball juggler? Well, let’s just say that we are like oil and water, am I right? The feywild, Delph’s world - sounds similarly crazy to me. But, like I said before, this isn’t going to get done on its own, and sometimes you have to endure some pain and craziness to make anything happen around here. Ward, so much has happened, where to start? You see, when I got this lightsaber….” He walks off with him with his arm around him, giving him a good explanation of all that has happened from his point of view, Ker-Adam style.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
An eyebrow raised while his leathery hand rubs his chin scruff contemplatively, Dageron asks (to whomever remains in earshot), "What does he mean by, time dilation?" (The little Gremlin is similarly scratching its chin, though it has no scruff)
A beaming wide-eyed smile stretches across its hideous little face as it lets out a scratchy 'errrr' sound, it's arms reach out to the junk man to be held.
"During our battle with Vader's bounty hunters before the Red Bull Delph was attacked with some sort of banishment spell. For us, it was maybe minutes to an hour, for him and his fox friend it was days to weeks I believe. I plan to use that in conjunction with my plant-based magics to, give them some spice. As well as it would give me time to experiment and create an abundance of armaments without risking other missions. Kerwyn, I am happy to see that you are growing, and congratulations on your new title friend. Or old title, something along those lines." Ward says

Travin picks up the gremlin, giving it an 'errrr' right back, Travin then glances at his bag and looks to Shavaris to see if she disapproves, before deciding what to do with the gremlin.
"Travin collects things and shinies and peoples yeh yeh! Dageron is a dawn guards now hmmm? So Dageron and his gremlin is already in Travin's care... What does it do? Is it called 'Errr'? Shall travin eats it?" Travin awkwardly looks around for any other input as he holds the thing like a teenager awkwardly holding a baby.
Dageron cocks his head in a sort of shrug gesture, "I wouldn't. It looks stringy and boney. It has spine quills along its back and bone crests above its eyes. More bother than benefit. It is called Mogwai, and it is currently an enigma to me. I suspect a larger purpose... but whose, I do not yet know."
Travin puts the beast directly ontop of his own head like a hat, and squints his eyes at Dageron "larger purpose hmmm?" The chaotic grin of potential flashes across Travin's face before he gives Dageron a quick nod of acceptance and rejoins the group conversation.
"Why does we need to go to the fey? Hmmm the threat is a snake mountain no? Vader is gones yeh yeh, so we just keep killings commanders hmm?"
Dageron waits until Travin is done before interjecting, "Why is it that we all assume Vader is dead? Does he not serve a being that predates most deities? Has Resurrection magic suddenly stopped working? Does the enemy no longer employ powerful Necromancers? Why do we hold to this notion without confirmation?"
I agree with Dageron. I know there are ways to cheat death and if Vader is as importantly as we thought then why wouldn’t his commanders save him. Also how do we know he is dead? As far as I can tell it is just a rumour being spread around. I say we sort out this labyrinth and decide from there. Maybe Jareth can tell us more.
Gandalf gently and tentatively holds his hand out for Delphinium as he answers the Fairy.
"If you entrust me with it, I shall keep it safe here, in the Hall of the Celestials, until the time should come that we have the other pieces of it and can use them to heal the Crystal of Truth. I hope to return them to the Sacred Realm, the ideal home of the Golden Power anyway. It would keep them forever beyond mortal reach."
Man at Arms nods as he listens to this, then gives Dageron's questions attention.
"I won't dictate to you how to do the mission, but you have multiple objectives and can take whatever mixed avenue of approach you desire. You can't focus on all of it at once, so don't try. Take whichever opportunity presents itself first. If you get a chance to parlay with King Jareth, do so. Otherwise, there is a war being waged in Eternia, and it's only going to amplify in the coming days. I want intel, General Dageron. I want to know what's going on with the Labyrinth, and about the military situation in Eternia, which I suspect you can appreciate better than anyone. If you and yours have an opportunity to oversee an engagement, then do so. I suppose if I have to further define your objectives, they'd be as follows.
One, make sure the war in Eternia is going in our favor, and influence it as best you can. You have the might of the Dawn Guard and the authority of Prince Adam behind you to help with this. Imperial Force intel is priority, but a peak at what Keldor is doing isn't going to hurt.
Two, but very important, is intel on the Labyrinth, and parlay with Jareth. See if he'll take on Eternian VIPs and other sensitive moveables by hiding them in the Labyrinth where Imperial Forces will be hard pressed to get to them. Ascertain how much of a threat the Labyrinth's spillover is to the rest of the world.
Three, when the opportunity presents itself, see if you can resurrect the Unicorn stallion.
Before you say anything, I know you're going to object to having such broad orders. The unfortunate fact is that the AURYN teams are elite units. We simply don't have the luxury of giving you a single objective to focus on. Focus in on one problem, focus out on another. Take your opportunities where you can."
He listens to the back and forth chatter between the Dawn Guard for a moment, then begins to motion them toward the Roc.
"You have several days travel ahead of you, Dawn Guard. I bid you good luck and good speed."
The Roc sailed over the ocean for days. They stopped every few days to let it sleep, so everyone could stretch and get some exercise, and then airborne again, taking a whole week to get to the northern shores of Eternia near Falconcrest. Huge, dense forests stretched as far as they could see, and horrid things called in the dark; mating calls, signaling calls, the calls of things hunting and killing in the near dark.
The Roc didn't rest long on the beach before it was airborne again, leaving them behind to navigate their way through the Lost Woods and across the continent...
Travin is uncomfortable on the Roc, flying was not his favourite form of travel, and he spends the first day being sick.
The second day is spent talking with Birt and the Gremlin 'Err'. Every so often Travin would concentrate on speaking to Err and after a minute or so of, is that poetry? The Gremlin would spend the next hour absolutely terrified of Travin, which only served to make Trav chuckle.
Once the Gremlin was to some degree under control, Travin entertains himself and others by applying his newfound abilities, to storytelling, disappearing into his junk pile he pops a hand out disguised crudely like Adam and the other like King Randor, describing the tale that Adam and Dageron already knew, but with wild embellishments that painted Travin like the influential hero of the story,
The next day he moves on to the story of rescuing Aughra and the fight against Vader. The day after, the story of how Travin single handedly scared off an undead army. If anything, the stories are made more entertaining by the wild inaccuracies and leaps of assumption, especially the small parts when Travin was in fact unconscious or heavily inebriated at the time the story took place.
Lastly, Travin makes time for Johnathan once more, asking about twiggy, making sure the little creature is looking after Johnathan and being looked after in return. Travin also asks, if Johnathan would help Travin re-upholster his chair on their journey to come, as Travin has all the materials and would like to learn a little about leather working.
.
Once landed and left alone, the Roc's silhouette receding into the twilight, Travin asks "where is the nearest towns hmmmm?" And takes a big dramatic step into the forest, Err the gremlin on his head and Birt the Firey troll following behind, tongue lolling out of his mouth like nothing had changed.
Err continuously eyeballs Travin in nervous fashion, clearly traumatized by the weird pile of garbage with a semi-humanoid head poking out of the front of it. The Gremlin looks over Dageron's back periodically to see where the Junkperson is, and to try to look cutely at the other members of the Dawn Guard...
After they land and Ironsides slithers on down, Adam walks around looking at the woods, recognizing the forest near the northwestern portion of Eternia, the trees giving it away, the white oaks and maples with strange branches midway up here. But things seem … different to him. He has travelled through the woods and seen trees from all over this land. These seem different to him, the woods look more primordial to him, appearing like they might have been 400 or 500 years ago, maybe more. It seems very strange to him.
He pats his snail and looks over its flails, somehow the snail looks bigger to him as well. “Easy boy. Something is off here. I can feel it too. I sense a disturbance….” He sits down on the ground cross legged, forming a pose in meditation. However, to the close observer, he is acting the part and trying really hard to meditate.
