As the charm effect of Travin's glasses fails yet again, the word that Johnathan mutter pierce their way int Travin's muddled mind, he gets a little sad, a little weepy as the sheer weight of his junk pile continues crushing down on Johnathan's body.
"no, no, no, no, no! Travin didn't do all of this for Johnathan to gives up! No! Travin gaves Johnathan what Johnathan wanted yeh? That can't be for nothings! Johnathan is humans now yeh! No curse! No more curse on Johnathan!!" at this point Travin is very upset, but it doesn't hinder his speed as with one quick action Travin summons a mage hand an grabs Johnathan's lower jaw, the moment Johnathan's lips part, travin shoves a hand in Johnathan's mouth and tickles the back of his throat until he vomits.
As Johnathan and Travin begin to yell and lose their minds over whatever it was they ate Delphinium was trying really hard to listen to Adam. The prince seems determined to get revenge and the fairy was on board with this. They boop Adam's nose and say "Of course I'll go with you. Let's go kill it. It should still be licking its wounds from when I beat it into submission earlier."
The fairy joins Adam in looking at what the others were doing near the well. Delphinium's insatiable curiosity dying to know what is going on. They flutter over to the well and peer into it. The fairy looks back at Johnathan wallowing in despair and ward explaining that it amplifies bad feelings and emotions. Delph says "You really shouldn't just eat anything you see you know. Silly Johnathan and Ward." they watch as Travin seems to start yelling at them to telling them to let it all out and trying to help in their own way. Delphinium smiles and says "Seems you two are in good hands with Travin. I'll let them handle you. I'm sure Adam, Shavaris and I can handle the creature in the church."
The fairy then takes another look in the well and seems contemplative. They focus a bit and summon one of their astral arms. This one starts as blue but seems to shimmer a bit of a lighter blue then normal, almost white, as they reach for the strange water in the well. They are careful not to let it touch them and keep at an astral arm's length as they do something to it. Their eyes narrow and they unsummon the astral arm before flying away from the well again. They seem very curious but go to Adam and says "Alright, the weird liquid is weird. Let's go get the aberration though. I'm ready for a hunt!" With those words their blue aura begins to shift into that strange nighttime aura of a dark bluish-purple with twinkling specks of white. Very reminiscent of a nighttime sky.
Just before leaving though Delph says to Travin "Oh! Travin. Make sure they stay away from the well. Don't let them stay near it." then they head off with Adam and whoever else wants to help slay the monster. As Adam brings up blowing it up Delphinium seems a bit disappointed. "You sure you want to blow it up? Seems less fun... also you blow up the church. Well, if you're sure I'll help with that. Takes the fun out of the hunt but you are right. It'll make sure it's dead." Delphinium will go along with their plan.
Shavaris gets on the carpet with Adam, letting him paint the boulder with Ward's concoction. She watches him, worried about how his town's destruction is affecting him. She hopes they can somehow set things right, though she has no idea how. Hoping Jareth and his time altering ways can do something? She doesn't say anything though, not wanting to get false hopes up, but very glad they are going to rid this town of that creature. She shudders.
As they obliterate the church, she helps however she can, just wanting to be there for Adam as they do. She keeps a look out over the town, hoping for some other sign of life that isn't twisted and wrong.
"Please, let's get moving to the labyrinth. There is clearly nothing more for you here. We'll keep our eyes open on the trip for any survivors."
Dageron retains control of the Gremlins during this division of the group. He hears Travin yelling and pleading with Johnathan, offering, "Travin, will normal healing magic help your little brother?"

Johnathan looks into their eyes and seems unaffected by whatever magic he was trying to use on him. As Travin mentions that he was responsible for his cure Johnathan freezes for a moment. How is that possible? It can’t be. He goes to speak to Travin but as soon as his mouth opens Johnathan feels an entire hand force it’s way into his mouth. Johnathan starts beaten the arm to try and get the hand out but to no avail. He vomits a pink like colour put all over Travin’s hand, possibly on Travin himself if he does not let go of Johnathan when it happens. Johnathan spends a moment being quiet, trying desperately to catch his breath. When he stops couching he looks to Travin with dead cold eyes and actual hatred. You know, I almost believed you Travin. When you said that you cured me I was actually going to ask you how. But I see now that that was another trick you used to get what you wanted. Hope it was worth it. Johnathan will try to walk away from Travin to the rest of the group. If Travin is still holding him he will try to break his grip.
Travin jumps off of Johnathan letting him up once he has successfully vomited. Leaning forward Travin eagerly awaits Johnathan's reaction trying to gauge whether the pink stuff has released its magical hold of him, when Johnathan looks back with hatred in his eyes Travin slumps a little, "a wish spell, that's how. Travin spent a wish spell on his friend Johnathan, hmmm.." he states, dejectedly as Johnathan walks away.
Assuming he should likely leave Johnathan to his brewing, Travin slinks into his pile and retrieves an empty flask, a knife, and a grenade, he then fills with the flask with pink Goop, cuts the rope to the bucket and throws the bucket back into the well. He looks to the others especially ward who is leaning against the well wall and asks them to move back a bit, before dropping the unpinned grenade in after the bucket. "Goodbye nasty shit" he says before ducking and covering from the blast himself.
First, the boulder comes down off the magic carpet and crashes with a satisfying 'thunk' through the roof of the church. Shingles and splintered wood fly up and in all directions as the church rumbles and lists to the side. Then there's the flash of the napalm as Delphinium lights it, blowing the doors clear out into the overgrown streets and shattering stained glass windows into glitter. Flames lick the sky in fifty foot lengths and intense heat bathes Adam, Shavaris, and Delphinium nearby as the church goes up.
The second thing to happen is the well, and it is far, far worse than what is happening at the church. There's the initial crump of the grenade, and then the geyser of pink slime that rockets into the air. All of Hyboria rumbles as the ground beneath shakes, and then pink slime starts raining down on everything around them. Trees. Moldering houses. The well is covered.
Ward and Johnathan both take another hit, further amplifying how they feel. Ol' Ironsides gets splattered as well, and the big, always angry, always ready to fight snail begins to twirl its flails. It immediately charges for Dageron and the Gremlins and Running Bird, who is busy dodging falling puddles of goop and running for its feathered re-life.
The stones of the well begin to move...as do several of the nearby trees...
At least one huge tongue lolls out of a nearby house and laps at the air...
Furious anger flashes in Dageron's eyes towards Travin - but really, all of them - as he slams the visor down on his helmet. His gauntleted hand grasps the back of Mogwai's robes as he mounts his warhorse, leaving the other Gremlins to face off with the Flail Snail. In a quick assessment of the situation he realizes the pink goop is most concentrated at the well - right where half his party was located - and the others were presumably safely airborne. Unwilling to affect a rescue for those at the well, he yells, "Fallback you morons!" As he yells he sees them, covered in that crap, minds bent, made useless, he realizes something. The mirror. The AURYNs. More anger.
His unbidden hand holds up the Rod of Rulership, targeting his will to all - ALL - things moving or evidently animated within 120' of him. His gravel-like (Josh Brolin) voice booming as he commands, "My party, to the fallback, quick pace! Gremlins, mounts, pets, and familiars, either assist the retreating if able, or cover our exodus. Let no thing, living, animated or other, harm us! All buildings, trees, and Other, retreat to the North or recede as best you can AND protect our party from any others who would seek us harm!"

In the dictionary, Chaosis defined as the confused, unorganized state existing before the creation of distinct forms; the inherit unpredictability in the behavior of a natural system (such as the atmosphere or beating heart); complete disorder; synonymous with confusion, jumble, snarl, muddle, and disarray.
Somehow, there was a lot of truth, and a lot of inaccuracy, in all of this.
Mogwai swings up onto Dageron's back as he mounts his warhorse, while the rest of the Gremlins look around confused. Two, suddenly having freedom, turn and flee into the forest, hauling as much Gremlin ass as possible, approximately 4 tiny butt cheeks, perhaps a pound in total, straight for the treeline. The remaining 8 look at each other. One stops long enough to picks its nose and release one hell of a fart before it turns its attention toward Ironsides.
For his/her/its part, Ironsides didn't care about Dageron's command. In war, there were units that were described as razers, and units that were described as swords. Ironsides was decidedly a pissed off, rusty flail that was on fire. Fitting, since its head was covered in such weapons. Six Gremlins immediately make the sensible decision to aid the rest of the Dawn Guard in their retreat.
The other two stalwartly held their ground...and stalwartly one was pinned down as all seven flails began to pummel its body into a bloody mess. Ol' Ironsides started to eat before it was even done killing the gremlin. The Gremlins at least tried to fight back...but their claws raked uselessly on the Flail Snail's nigh impenetrable shell.
Running Bird continued to dance in place, trying not to step in any of the piles of ooze that were now starting to undulate and move about. Havoc Dart swooped in low, coming up broadside to Delphinium to help them retreat to the rear.
Birt scrambled across the field, dodging pink slime as he went, and scooped Ward into his arms before tossing his limp form over his shoulder and rushing toward Dageron.
As the Well pulled itself down deeper into the ground and became an innie, the two trees both took to completely different avenues in life. One spun to attack the retreating lines, while the other attacked it, the two arboreal monsters tying up in a titanic wrestling match in the center of town.
As the two trees fought, the house lurched forward, rushing across open ground toward Johnathan, Ward, and Birt....

As the trio watches the church burn up in a ball of fire insuring the creature inside is slain. At the same time another explosion seems to rumble in reply to the first. This second one though was small at first then the entire ground below them seems to shake as if something below has been disturbed. Being up in the air with the others he tries to see how far the shaking land reaches (PERCEPTION 22). At first, delphinium is very confused, however as they look for the source of the second explosion they notice globs of pink flying through the sky and towards them. Delph gives a quick warning whistle to Havok Dart to avoid danger and it seemed to pay off as the death hawk suddenly flies off and avoids the dangerous pink substance. Delphinium himself had to dodge as well but that was easy for the quick fairy. It was then that pandemonium happened. Everything the goop touched suddenly began to shift and change. Anything not animated suddenly growing teeth, tongues and an ability to move. Trees, the houses, objects strewn about and more. The fairy has no idea what happened but it seems the corrupting substance is changing things into mimics! Is that a mimic house!
At first Delphinium is fascinated but then Dageron gives his magical command. A powerful word of command that washes over everything and everyone. The fairy is actually impressed. Not just anyone can sling a wide ranging enchantment spell to affect everything. Delphinium shakes off the mental command and notices his friends down by the well. Some covered in goo some not. Will it change them too? Whatever the case the fairy sees they are in danger. Dageron didn't need to tell Delph to start saving his friends as the fairy zooms like a bolt of light towards Johnathan. He's covered in the stuff and Delphinium knew that was bad juju. He tested it earlier and now he's going to try to help get Johnathan out of there.
Summoning their astral fists two large hands reach down and attempt to grab Johnathan to pull him up and out of danger. The fairy attempting to Grapple then with the hands even against their will at least for now. (ATHLETICS: 29) "What happened johnathan? Is the goop attacking us now?" Oddly, when Delphinium reaches for Johnathan his astral arm seems to go a lighter blue. Shifting towards white. Despite the conversation the fairy seems to be trying something as they concentrate.
In the first moment after the goop geyser, Travin is covered in the stuff, it drips down his every surface and seeps into his junk, in the next moment the goop that flew at him the first time is rewound, it falls again but this time Travin looks up and ducks out of the way, he stands completely untouched by the ooze, was that time magic? Luck? Or some other more sinister freaky shit?
Travin feels the command from dageron rock his body as the pulse of magic settles into his head. He instantly falls backwards, and then wonders why he did that, he then gets up having completed the requested task and starts following the others back toward the defences hurriedly and panicked. As he runs he extends his palms out and any thing that moves close to him he throws a clump of a writhing dirty yellow mass out toward, the mass expands a little into a small swarm of bees which then attack anything hostile within a 10ft range of the junkman.
Johnathan had his back to Travin as the explosion went off, so he didn’t see the pink stuff coming towards him. As soon as the stuff touches him Johnathan seems to have lost any emotions on his face. As the threats start surrounding the parties Johnathan just stands there like a statue. He mindlessly follows Dagon’s command as Delph rushes in to grab Johnathan, again with no resistance. He doesn’t say anything to Delph as he just stares at them with a blank face.
Shavaris watches as the church blows up and feels the heat rush by her. That was a bit more of an explosion than she had anticipated and she thinks about how much more Ward has on his person. As she looks down, she wonders... that creature couldn't have left the church in between the time they talked to it and then came back.. could it? She looks at Delph, wondering if they are thinking the same thing, but doesn't voice it as she is hoping that it isn't true.
As the explosion from the well covers everything in pink goo, she is momentarily stumped. WHHHY?? She saw what happened from her vantage point and just stares at Travin as things start coming to life. That's when the command is heard and takes over her body. Without discussing it with Adam, she wills the magic carpet to head straight towards Dageron.
The Gremlins continue their ineffective attempt to save themselves from Ironsides, both cutting loose thick ribbons of meat with their claws in the split second before the Flail Snail pulps one's head with its flails, then picks it up. Its limp body hangs from the snails mouth as it's chewed. Meanwhile five of the flails lash out for the surviving Gremlin. One flail catches the Gremlin before Ironsides, using its superior size, flattens the little bugger out with a shove and continues to pulverize its prostrate form. The pinned Gremlin can only scream and look at Dageron as Schmoopy beats the shit out of it while eating its littermate.
The two trees continue to grapple in the background, with one falling off balance and landing on the other. The two wrestle in the commons while the house, now dragging itself along on fleshy tentacles, gnashes at the air and bears down on the rest of the party, a tongue the size of a big sofa licking the air before it...

Adam hears Dageron’s voice boom out but is unmoved. He says under his breath, “Ironbritches. Has to control everything and everyone. Not me!” He is startled when Shavaris hears the words and obviously is affected, turns the carpet to head toward him. He jumps up with his winged boots and leaps off the carpet, floating in the air. He’s startled when Shavaris quickly grabs his leg and tries to keep him on the carpet, but his quick reflexes and his powerful quadriceps and gluteus muscles allow him to spring upward off the carpet and out of her grasp, successfully eluding her. “Bye Shavaris…” he says, obviously intent on his own plans and keen to survey what is happening to the town.
Adam floats in the air, looking at the strange events unfolding. He sees a house that is moving, with a large tongue? He circles higher and goes toward the church and looks through the fire and smoke, trying to see if there is any evidence that the creature inside that Delph said destroyed the town is still alive.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
With the house catching up to the group fast Travin takes off trying to keep ahead of it and it's nasty ass tongue, "BIRT, COME HELP! BIRT! BURN THE HOUSE! YEH YEH!" He squeals, trying to see where his faithful companion is. Once the junkman can run no further he gets an idea, picking the Husqvarna off of his back he drops it to the ground with one hand, the other still raised in the air holding the handle end of a pull cord. The chainsaw bursts into life and Travin raises it above his head revving the everloving tits off the machine which roars out in mechanical menace, "no closer! Hmmm! Angry wooden house!" (Intimidation 24)
Johnathan watches as the house monster approaches the party. He clenches his fists as he starts to get visibly angry. I hate this, I hate that I ever joined this party. All we do is cause trouble and get nothing done. I just lost the sole reason to keep going. I lost my family even after all we went through to try and help people. But we don’t help people do we? We haven’t saved a single person as a party. We couldn’t even save Ralik in the end. Johnathan stops talking at that point as he looks at the house. I AINT IN THE MOOD FOR THIS. BEGONE. Johnathan traces strange runes around his hand as he tries to send the house into a different plane.
Action: Banishment (DC 16 charisma save or be sent to a Demi plane for 1 minute)
The house pauses as the chainsaw is revved up, the tongue rolling back into its mouth. If a house can look like it doesn't know what to do, this one does. And then, before it can decide, it disappears from the battlefield.
As though nothing happened, a blob of pink protoplasm begins to inch its way across the common toward Travin...
Travin scampers the 30ft he can towards the defendable position, he sees bort also following suit and yells out a command, "whens Birt see the angry house, Birt blows that up yeh yeh? BIRT CAN DO IT!" With a bardic inspiration left with his friend Travin then produces a ball of warbling chaos energy in one hand and launches it toward the pink blob. (24 to hit, 7 cold damage) and with that chaos energy over takes Travin and he grows 4 inches, his robe no longer drags along the ground so much and the ropes holding his junk pile together tighten just a little.
Move: 30ft to defenses
Free action: yell to set up Birt's held action
Bonus action: bardic inspiration to Birt
Action: chaos bolt, which triggers wild magic surge to regain tides of chaos feature.
As the charm effect of Travin's glasses fails yet again, the word that Johnathan mutter pierce their way int Travin's muddled mind, he gets a little sad, a little weepy as the sheer weight of his junk pile continues crushing down on Johnathan's body.

Dageron, unaware which - if any - of his companions were under his sway, issues battle plans regardless.

Several things happen all at once.
