Closing his book with a crisp snap, he sets it on the table and turns to look at you, eyeing the pint of ale you slid toward him. "Thank you, but I don't drink." Slides the pint back to you. "As to your query, it should be obvious from your conversations, of which I have overheard a little, that the Redbrands are responsible for the local disappearances. I believe Trilena shared the fate of Thel Drendrar and his family. As to you friend, I've haven't the slightest clue where he might be, though unless he disappeared in town, I doubt it had anything to do with our local troubles. The only thing out of the ordinary that I've seen as of late was the Sister Garaele, who oversees the Shrine of Luck, recently left town for a few days and then returned wounded and exhausted. I have no idea if it is even related, but there you have it. Now, if you'll excuse me," his voice trailing off as he picks up his book and begins heading for the door, "it is quite late and I need to get back to my farm."
As the farmer leaves, OldMan looks at Galben and wonders outloud. "A farmer who reads? That is stranger than a bugbear with clean teeth. Do you suppose he's surly because he doesn't like strangers? Doesn't like loud taverns? But then again why would you come to a loud tavern to try to read a book? I wonder if he is involved in anything going on with the RedBrands? Better add Sister Garaele to the list of people to talk to the next couple days. Sounds like she had a run in with someone. Orc or Goblins or Redbrands. Lots of options."
Looking around the bar. "Have we talked to everyone in here yet? I am getting tired. It has been a full day. I wouldn't mind cleaning the goblin blood from my robes before I hit the sack."
As the inn's common room begins to clear out, you all make your way up to the rooms that Sildar has provided for you this evening and take a well-earned long rest! The next morning as you gather back in the common room for breakfast, you each confirm your plans for the day.
As he eats his porridge, Regula turns to Galben: "I seem to recall you asking something about our plans last evening and whether we would be following up on all our leads before searching for the tunnel. Out of curiosity, just how do you plan to find the tunnel?"
"I'm not sure, (Galben starts talking louder over Jake's snores) maybe the best place to start is to find Pips friend Carp and see if he would show us where he found this tunnel. Are you planning on going to the Lions coaster first thing this morning?"
Jake would like to replace his weapon at the Lionshield Coster. "I am intrigued by the Shrine of Luck. Perhaps that would be a convenient place for me to meditate. And Sister Gareale, I think I would like to meet her."
"Other than those three things, I'm happy to accompany whoever. A little tunnel exploration might be nice."
"Might it be best for all of us to go to the Lionshield and then break off from there once our business is finished. Before I look for Carp I'd like to talk to the former ranger now orchard keeper Daran Edermath."
Looking around for Silldar, OldMan addresses the query, "I have no need to go to a weapons store but I am going to take some time today to cast a special spell which takes a bit of preparation and time [find familiar]find familiar[/find familiar]. If successful it will give us a great advantage going forward. But first I must aid Sildar in his search for Iarno Albrek. I would definitely like to check out the tunnel at some point. I hear they call wagons vans around here. I bet for a piece of candy any of the young ones would go for a ride in our white van. We have many people to talk to. And yet I feel the urgency of getting to Gundren."
The party makes its way to Barthen's to collect their stored belongings. As you approach, you see Ander stacking crates outside the entrance. "Good morning to you all; I suppose you're here for your stored items." Ander's leads you to where they are stored. "I let Linene know you would be paying her a visit sometime this morning to discuss the recovered supplies. She is expecting you whenever you are able to make your way over there."
As you approach the Lionshield Coaster, you all see hanging above the front door of this modest trading post is a sign shaped like a wooden shield with a blue lion painted on it. As you enter the space, you see rows of swords and bows, lining the expanse of the interior. A human woman of roughly 35 years works busily taking inventory and restocking shelves. Linene sizes the group up quickly, "Thank you. I appreciate your efforts to recover my stolen goods. Here is 60 gp for your troubles. I promise to help you in any way I can."
Linene looks over the weapons. "I could do 15 gp for the morning star, 10 gp a piece for the shortbows, 6 gp for the quivers and arrows, and 20 gp per scimitar."
Linene looks at the short bows again, "No, they appear to be quite old and well used. I suppose I could offer 5 additional gp per shortbow in store credit, but that's the best I can do. I am certainly grateful for you returning my goods, but I have already fairly compensated you for that."
(Galben walks back to the table with Sildar, Thallan, Bearkiller and Jake. Oldman and Regula follow.)
"Well I believe we have spoken to everyone. Here are all the people we need to speak to in town tomorrow...
"Do you think we should speak to them all before we go looking for this tunnel?"

Jake has fallen asleep at the table, a half goblet of ale still in his hand. He has begun to snore loudly.
"Let go to our rooms for the night and take a deserved rest. We can meet here in the morning. Thank you again for your kindness Sildar"
As he eats his porridge, Regula turns to Galben: "I seem to recall you asking something about our plans last evening and whether we would be following up on all our leads before searching for the tunnel. Out of curiosity, just how do you plan to find the tunnel?"

(Thallan and Bearkiller come down and everyone finishes eating their breakfast)
"Let's leave OldMan here to complete his spell and we can all head to Brathens to get the supplies and then go to the Lionshield Coaster"
(The party makes its way to the Lionshield with supplies to return and weapons to sell. Upon arriving they see Lady Graywind inside)
"Good morning Lady Graywind. We believe that these supplies belong to you" (Pointing to the boxes marked with her blue seal)
(Galben looks at the women working)
"We have brought some weapons to sell or trade. What could you offer us for these?" (Galben presents the weapons)
1 Morning Star
6 Shortbows
6 quivers
11 scimitars
120 arrows
Regula's eyebrow raises in curiosity, "Those are actually pretty fair prices, but I think we'd need to get at least 20 a piece for the short bows."
"So, if I've done my math correctly, that's 301 in gold and 30 gp in store credit. I think that's more than fair. We'd be glad to accept the deal."
