(3) The rat-man by Joren's echo runs past it, trying to reach the fray in the doorway as it throws a gas bomb into the doorway where it immediately begins spewing its gas, leaving only a little room to get through the doorway while avoiding the plumes. (4) The rat-man that survived Malachi's dissonant whispers recovers it's senses and runs past Joren's echo straight at the right-most shelves that Samir is running behind.
(5) The one that Vilus scored a hit on rushes at Joren, whipping out its tail to sweep his legs out from under him.

Vilus watches Joren go down, the nearest rat creature baring over his bleeding body, as Vilus concentrates his eyes flash purple and the sound of ringing pierces the tense air centred on that rat man

It stands between Ashley and Samir, cutting Samir off from the door and then turns and takes a swing at Ashley. Ashley is just able to duck under the blow as it smashes into the shelves above her head. Wood splinters rain down over her, a few going up in flame and being quickly consumed as they land on her fiery hair.

"Joren!!" Ashley screams as he goes down and the rats attack him with fury. Ashley reaches over and grabs the necklace and tosses it in the air, above the line between her and the most rats in a row she can fire at. She holds her hands at shoulder level, palms facing towards the evil things and as the necklace falls into firing range, she casts Aganazzar’s Scorcher firing off 13 fire damage unless they make a DEX save of 12.
She then yells "Someone grab Joren!!"and she tries to get into the next room.

Samir's thoughts are racing as he instictively draws back from the creature, one arm lifted to shield himself. Nausea and revulsion coil and writhe in his gut at the sight of the malformed creature, spurring both his thoughts and his body into adrenaline-fueled motion. One hand flips open the hood of the leather case at his side, an instant before the other dives inside to grasp at something. What emerges looks like nothing less than a rounded off rectangle with a crossbow stock attached, which is quickly pulled up into a firing position. A gauge of some kind imbedded into the left side of the device immediately begins filling up as a hissing sound emerges from within. There is a series of sharp clicks and suddenly an arrowhead is protruding from the front, aiming as steadily as Samir can force it to at the rat-monster's torso. The gauge on the side reaches its zenith and the hissing sound cuts off abruptly. Samir's finger tightens on the curved firing lever, and with a heavy chuff sound, a crossbow bolt is propelled at high speed from the forward end, speeding towards its target. Immediately the hissing begins again, along with the metallic clicking sound as another bolt is moved into place.

If the ratman is still alive, Samir will fall back away from it 15 feet. If it falls, he will move as close as he can to the room without being in the gas.
As Joren is brought low by the rampaging rat-beasts Marion drops her longsword to the ground and reaches out her left hand to aid the half-dwarf. "Fear not my friend, the Blue Lady shelters you this day."
As they grasp each others arms a gentle white light surrounds the two of them and Joren feels a comforting warmth flow from Marion into him, closing some of his wounds as it spreads throughout his body. At the same time she brings her right arm around, holding her shield defensively above Joren, as a blue pulse of energy shimmers out from the blue rose emblazoned on the front of the shield and surrounding Joren in protective energy.
Marion heals Joren for 10 hit points from her lay on hands (can't link it :'( ), and will not retreat from the front lines until Joren is able to do so alongside her.

Bonus action: Jorenswitches places with his echo, so now the echo is standing alongside Marion, unaffected by the gas, and a partially-healed Joren is behind them in the back room. This costs 15' of Joren's movement (i.e. all of it, currently).

Ashley turns to let out a torrent of flame at the falling necklace and the rat-men behind it, hardly thinking about the other one behind her in her desperation to help Joren and the others. The rat-man she turned her back on prepares to swing at her undefended flank, but just as it begins its swing a bolt strikes it in the shoulder and sinks deep. The arm falls limp, giving Ashley enough time to loose a full blast. Marion can feel the air in front of her superheat as she braces behind her shield. The flame blasts down the line, bringing ruinous heat upon the three rat-men who stood right before the defensive line, and scorching the necklace.

Once again crippled by the effects of burning the ears on the necklace, only one of them is able to move themselves half out of the way. Ashley watches just long enough to see the results of her flames on the necklace. As it goes sailing into the shelves from the force of the blast, she can see nothing remains of the ears. Though the necklace itself, and the single bead separating the ears into 6 and 2, seem untouched by the flame. Then Ashley is turning to run through the door.
This time, the rats seem to be in such anguish, that they are all temporarily immobilized with the pain (no AoO on anyone running away this round, including Ashley), but that same pain seems to be driving them into a further frenzy. Their muscles bulge with thick veins, and their knobby hands open up, as if the restraint that was causing them to strike with closed fists has been torn away. Any semblance of organization or coordination in their movements is gone and they look ready to strike with deadly intent.
Joren's form flickers, no longer the real him, and no longer lying down. His echo unleashes a flurry of blows on the reeling rat-men from where Joren had just been bleeding out a second ago. Two of his attacks get batted aside by flailing limbs, but then his sword swings in taking a muscled arm. Reversing its momentum and spinning around, with its greatsword passing harmlessly through Marion and the door during the maneuver, Joren's echo makes another slice from the rat-man's other side, sinking deep into its rat torso, nearly separating it from the human shoulders. It collapses limply, almost falling across Malachi's feet.
The rat things are attacking with crazed abandon, especially after the necklace was destroyed. Malachi sees Joren fall, struck down by two of them, and Marion step in to protect him. There are too many, he thinks, they are too strong. His mind struggles to process what he is seeing, especially when Joren appears in the room behind him. He lashes out again at the rat man Samir struck with his arrow, filling its mind with the specter of death as the rat man sees a skeletal hand claw at its face.

Malachi then slips through the green smoke billlowing by the door to move 15 feet further into the backroom, willing his legs to move. He tries to get closer to the bookshelf and as far away from the door as he can.
The skeletal hand sinks its boney fingers into the rat's snout, embedding itself deep in the flesh and renewing the rat-man's howls of pain as Malachi slips behind Marion into the back room. Now Marion and Joren's echo hold the line at the doorway, trying to give Samir time to get inside. Samir sees an opening to slip by the thrashing rat-man blocking his way, and he bolts for it. He pushes up against the wall and jumps, making it past, but as he lands off balance, the rat-man's heavy tail catches him across the back. It's just enough to tip Samir forward, sending him tumbling and skidding to land next to Marion. He looks up to see her still standing strong with her shield raised high despite her weariness. He is almost safe.

Eyes bloodshot, the tip of a crossbow bolt protruding from the front of his shoulder, and a skeletal hand trying to worms its bony digits further into its sensitive snout, the rat-man staggers and screams in pain and animal fury. It leaps at Samir, claws outstretched.

Samir cries out in pain as the monster claws at him, feeling its claws dig in to the flesh beneath his clothing. Desperately he swipes a hand at the creature, electricity crackling across his fingers.

(4) The rat that Samir dived past whips its head around to lock its eyes on Samir's prone form. Eyes bloodshot, the tip of a crossbow bolt protruding from the front of his shoulder, and a skeletal hand trying to worms its bony digits further into its sensitive snout, the rat-man staggers and screams in pain and animal fury. It leaps at Samir, claws outstretched.

(5) The two remaining rat-men claw desperately at the echo, howling in frustration as it vanishes.

One turns to face Marion, while the other runs into the doorway where it finds its way blocked by Ashley and the more material Joren, with Malachi and Vilus further back.
The gas from the pouch in the doorway expands outward, overtaking Marion on one side of the doorway, and Ashley on the other.

Samir cries out in pain as the monster claws at him, feeling its claws dig in to the flesh beneath his clothing. Desperately he swipes a hand at the creature, electricity crackling across his fingers.

Desperately, he scrambles away through the door as the electricity arcs over the creature's body, keeping it from swiping at him as he retreats.
The rat-man's muscles convulse and blood trickles down from its mouth before it collapses to the ground, a limp heap of smoking fur and skin.
(Samir will also need to make the Con save DC 10 for the gas now, or fall asleep at the end of his move, but he will at least be in the back room when it happens)

While standing in the doorway, Ashley smiles with vengeance on her mind watching these creatures attack her new friends. She first points at one rat, then, right before she attacks, she lifts her other hand and points at another. Twinning her spell, she casts toll the dead and the sound of dolorous bells fills the air

She then finishes her trek into the room and clears the gas.
