The goblin stares blankly at each of you as you address him. When Zaiden speaks, his stare is more warm and intent, as though his words are getting through.
After Finn stands him up, the goblin says. "You get to cave and save human, I live." He nods as though convincing himself as well to agree to the deal. "Bengo. My name Bengo."
He walks at an unhurried pace north on the path, leading you to the goblin cave. At one point, without word, Bengo diverts off the path. Sig tenses and almost objects, but then you all notice the snare trap he was avoiding. He glances back. "Ah yes. Trap. Sorry. It second nature for me to avoid." Another few minutes later, he does it again, and you all again see a trap in the path, this time a pit trap. "Oops. Yes. Trap there. Sorry." It seems a legitimate mistake on his part not to warn you. You all avoid both traps without issue.
After about an hour of walking, the path opens to a clearing at the base of a small tor or rocky outcrop. A shallow stream dribbles out of an opening in the tor--no doubt the entrance to the goblin cave. Across from the stream is a dense thicket of trees. You are at the edge of the clearing about fifty feet from the stream due east or about seventy feet from the cave entrance to the northeast. Bengo nods and points to the northern side of the thicket where you now see a subtle opening between the thicket and the cave entrance. "Scouts." He holds up two or three fingers, shrugging.
“Bengo, my friend…are there any other traps once we go inside? Any scouts besides those there?” Zaiden asks, keeping his demeanor as friendly and positive as possible. “And is there anyone special to you? That we should try to capture if possible, instead of kill? You’re helping us, we can help you in return…”
Bengo replies, "My wolves. Well, I mean our wolves. I tend them most and don't hit them like others. They in first cavern. I go with you and free them. Then you go save human. Traps? No, no snares or pits. But if you too loud, they surprise you and release waterfall. Stay shh or out of stream. Otherwise, no. Big Klarg up in far cavern with treasures he not share."
At the thought of rescuing the wolves, you can see he's gotten a bit excited to help.
Sig listens carefully, trying to remember every word Bengo is saying and wondering if the creature is being completely honest, if it is, then he might have been wrong about all goblins being the same, but still, the hand grabs the sword tight, looking around for possible ambushes around the thicket.

"If I go there, I can't dispose of them without alerting the entire cave... who can go and see if the scouts are there? mabye take them off silently?"He whispers to the party but looking at Finn in particular.

"Bengo, if you called out to them.. Like 'Help, we need backup' or something... Would the scouts come running or the whole lot of them?" Zaiden asks, doing his best to be sympathetic and reasonable. "I want you to get the wolves back safely. I don't want to harm anyone we don't need to in order to get our employers back. Specially animals. Specially animals you care about... The better we can make the odds for ourselves, the better they are for you and your wolves."
Persuasion: 14
"If it were up to me would would capture as many goblins as possible so we could get our people, kill this Klarg, then let you all go..."
Bengo seems honest. He's giving off no signs that he's being deceptive, nor the impression that he'd be good at doing so.
@Zaiden
Bengo nods. "I call to show them treasure we stole from smelly humans. They come to get some before alerting others. You capture, then we go rescue wolves."
He is eager and reaches his wrists out to be untied.
Tristan nods in agreement to the plan. "It's better than me trying to sneak in." She waves a hand at her armor, the simple movement making noise. "I'll try not to kill them, Bengo."

"Alright, if you really think this will work, we can do it", Finn says, still not really trusting the goblin but figuring this is a better shot than all of his companions sneaking into the cave. He then goes to hide behind some nearby bushes, hoping to surprise the goblins that Bengo will lure out
Bengo waits for his hands to be untied, then walks about ten feet out of the woods and into the clearing. He whisper-calls in Goblin towards the thicket by the cave entrance. Only Tristan understands the conversation.
"Hagg! Hagg!"
He waits nearly a full minute before a goblin peeks out of the thicket can calls back, annoyed. "Bengo? What do you want?"
"Is Hagg there?"
"Yes. What do you want?" A second goblin peeks out of the thicket, who calls, "Bengo, you idiot, I was napping."
Bengo motions excitedly for the goblins to join him. "Come, there was some fresh lamb meat in our latest haul. Get some before Klarg takes it all."
Both goblins waste little time splashing through the stream and hurrying past Bengo and into the woods, right into your trap. They see no haul in the trail, and turn back to scold Bengo as he follows them into the woods when you spring your trap.
Sig tries to refrain himself from running into action scream as he always does and let's his fellow adventurers take the lead, knowing that with his armor he could alert other goblins near the area. He decides get near the action but checking on them just in case anyone needs a hand if something goes wrong.

You are all hidden in the foliage. The goblins are unaware of your presence. They are both in the middle of the trail, 10-20 feet from each of you. Bengo is another 15 feet back from them, closer to the clearing.
Your trap has worked just as planned. Both goblins are dispatched, and the entrance to the cave is now unguarded.
Bengo, however, is dashing to the cave. Because your next turn would come before his, I'll give each of Emrin, Tristan, Sig, and Finn a chance to stop him, if you want. Otherwise he continues to dash into the cave and we're out of initiative.

Finn takes aim at the closest goblin with his bow, hoping to down it in one hit
Attack: 24 (advantage from being hidden)

The first goblin immediately drops with Finn's arrows piercing it's head, not knowing what hit it.
Bengo takes a few steps back and a look of determination sets on his face. He then turns and dashes into the clearing towards the cave entrance.
One goblin remains in the trail, and Bengo is now about 80 feet away. He's about 10 feet from the cave entrance.
Zaiden is up!
"Hopefully he's just after the wolves," Zaiden mutters while stepping forward and stabbing out at the remaining Goblin with his rapier.
Rapier Attack: 22 Damage: 8

What would you like to do?
"Bengo, wait!" Tristan exclaims in Goblin. If their guide doesn't stop, the fighter tries to catch up with him, stopping only if he enters the cave.
