Rohani internally debated whether to knock on the stone door, but realized it would have little meaning.

"Were there suppose to be dwarves to warn here...?" She asks the group in a whisper, eyes squinting as she scanned the ruins.

"The dwarves are likely further in. The missive said they were an archeological expedition." Proserpina replies. 

Wynn pauses at the open gate and peers inside, looking and listening for anything out of the ordinary.

Perception check: 18

If all is clear, he will cautiously walk inside the gate, taking care not to make too much noise.

Stealth check: 20

There is no evidence outside the gates of inhabitation.

All seems quiet as Wynn passes through the gate.

The next section is the ruins of a small settlement, marked only by the remnants of the bases of the walls. You can see what looks like the top of a well in front of a partly collapsed 10 foot wall.

Rohani follows Wynn quietly and cautiously, on the lookout for any movement as they enter the ruins.

Poco steps inside the gate and keeps an eye on his companions. He wants to stay around 30ft behind them just in case something happens.

[[I'm sorry I've been radio silent, things got crazy and haven't let up. I'll likely have a real post tomorrow or wednesday.]]

Wynn glances back at one of the hardier members of the party and tilts his head towards the well as if suggesting that maybe one of them could take a peek inside. If a party member approaches the well, Wynn will ready an attack action to cover them.

Proserpina will approach the well, glancing around as she does so. (Perception Check: 7)

"Are we still attempting stealth?" She asks in a quiet voice, though without much enthusiasm.

Poco sends inspiration to Proserpina by nodding at her and giving her a thumbs up (1d6).

"I guess it can't hurt to attempt?" Rohani replies to Prosperina with a shrug, doing her best to be quiet as she walks.

Proserpina shrugs and attempts to move stealthily.

The stone well is filled with dry rubble.

Wynn stows his bow as the others peer into the well without incident. He approaches the well and gives a look inside, chuckling as he sees only dry rubble. He shakes his head at his hypervigilance and is about to toss a pebble into the well when he stops himself. He cocks his head to one side and turns to the group:

"I hear talking beyond the wall. I think we're being observed. Let's proceed calmly and unarmed. Dargrimm, would you like to announce our presence?"

At Wynn's mention, Rohani also notices the voices. She freezes in her tracks and listens.
