He then slips off the ring at Lium’s question and makes a vague gesture of confirmation.

As she's chewing, Crispy wonders to herself if eating this meal makes Liam a cannibal. She opens her mouth to make the crack:

Liam accepts the ring from Gregor for the ritual casting.  Liam also refuses the keg when offered, preferring to drink from his waterskin for now.

Crispy shakes her head and rolls her eyes at Liams behavior. She continues eating and watches the two with mild curiosity about the ring.

Nia grinned and took a long pull from the cask, happy to engage in the naughtiness of drinking when she wasn't supposed to. She then started on her share of the food with gusto, obviously a growing girl needs her fuel. Frowning slightly she said "So if that is a coven, we could be facing more demon-y things. Not just monkeys."

He then gives a full bellies laugh, still inches away from Liam’s face.

Nia pulls the brim of her wizard's hat low over her eyes and murmurs "Good grief..."

Crispy stops in mid chew as Gregor laughs, squinting her eyes at him dangerously at the turn this story has taken. She looks at her food, then back to Gregor with a look that has half concern, half wrath. Neither were good.

She takes another long gulp of the ale, handing it to Nia again - this time making it obvious.

As Liam completes his ritual castings, something catches his ear, causing him to glance towards the large hole in the wall.

"Look alive, I think I hear something coming from there.  Sounds like footsteps."

Crispy's head jerks towards the wall. She slowly gets up.
