You can hear a voice in the back of your head talk to you. It is a deep, strong voice which resonates with you.
"Yes. Finally, capable hands. Hold me. Get to know me. Together, we shall destroy anything which stands in our way. I shall bring you glory through blood should you wield me."

Gregor has the good sense to know that when you hear voices in your head while holding a cursed item, it’s usually a good idea not to listen to them. He gently puts the axe back in his backpack, and scribbles a note to himself to remember the event in the morning and tell Liam and Nia about. He then wakes up Liam for 4th shift, and goes to sleep.
Snore Roll: 10
Goes to sleep and snores like a nice grizzly bear, sans the heavy amount of fur.
It had been a long time. A long time since she had slept in a dungeon. When she was a little child, she was scared of the dark. That was a long time ago. With her parents never home, she had no one to rely on for comfort when she had nightmares and woke up screaming, or when she couldn't sleep, or when she heard the shack creak and moan in the night like an undead graveyard. When she didn't pay attention in school, or didn't do her chores fast enough because of sleep deprivation, she was beaten by her father. She should have been afraid, but it was during that time she learned to be angry and resentful. When she got older and couldn't control her anger she would run. She would run in the grasslands as fast as she could and wouldn't stop till her legs failed. If that didn't work she roared and yelled and punched trees till her knuckles bled.
During her training in the academy, she learned to not be afraid of the dark, and was taught to stop being angry and channel it into something else. She learned to use it to her advantage.
When she became a deadly weapon...people began to fear HER.
Liam counts down the hours meticulously while preparing spells and reading over his tome. He wakes everyone up after an uneventful rest and you all begin to gather your belongings back up ready to depart back to the main camp.
Judas seems excited but still a little confused and dazed. He walks with you, and even though he is surrounded by such capable adventurers, he still enters each room with caution, looking about wildly in each one, as if looking for danger. (If you wish to visit any rooms with his company, feel free)
After navigating the ruins, you reach your rope ladder. Judas looks at it unconfidently, then looks at his bound hands. He has a sickly look on his face and looks around expectantly.
When Liam wakes up the others that morning, he waits to wake Gregor up last. When he does get to the big half orc, he has a frustrated look on his face.
"Gregor, I'm afraid I have some bad news. I've been scouring my spellbook and my notes, and while I do have information in there about a spell to remove curses, I'm afraid it's a bit more limited than I thought. Specifically, it would allow me to remove a curse afflicting a person, but it CAN'T eliminate a curse from its source, such as the greataxe we found." Liam looks genuinely apologetic as he explains this. "I'm afraid that means any sort of spell that could make the axe safe to wield is well beyond my ability to cast at this point in time. It might take years more study and practice before I could manage such a thing."
Crispy stands there for a second, closes her eyes, and feels the warmth of the sun upon her bruised face. It's almost like the wounds, swelling, and aches melt away with the sun's radiance. She breathes a sigh and smiles a moment, welcoming it in - as if the physical pains..and perhaps some of her sins as well..are forgotten for a moment.
Chubby grumpily follows the group out of the cave complex (as a dwarf, he much prefers the deep, dark, dank caves to the wide open outside!), and collects his rope which was used to go down into and out of the 30’ cave entrance drop tunnel.

Crispy's perception check to wonder why Liam needs a perception check to check the weather when he could...just look up...? Maybe? But hey, i'm a rogue, what do I know.
With a 16, you notice it's once again, another sunny day in paradise- however a little cooler and less humid than last time you were out here, thank goodness. The jungle critters can be heard chirping and buzzing around you and the clouds overhead to the south look like they may be holding rain.
"Wow, it feelsh good to be out here again." Judas sighs.
"I'd be tempted to throw it all off and dance starkers if those clouds actually rain, but in this jungle that's probably not wise. Still, a good shower would be divine."
"Hells, no kidding, right?" Crispy agrees. "If it rained right now, i'd be happy to cover you while you did. Maybe watch, too." She winks and takes off her dirty bandana, already feeling the pressure melt away.

It's definitely at a disadvantage unless you're raging ;)

Gregor manages to gracefully climb the rope, grappling with his legs and with one arm lifting him and his captive up the rope.

Crispy can't wait to feel the sun on her face once again.
Gregor frog marches his new friend/prisoner Judas out the temple doors and into the jungle sun.

As a free action, can I regret my life choices?

Put your spoiler here.
Rolls a 1 on weather perception, personal storm cloud follows you around for the rest of your life. Curse of the temple!
I think you should be able to look up and discern the weather, but that's just meh. LOL. =P
