The temple doors lead into a 20x20 foot square room, with a 10’ diameter well leading directly downwards. Small patches of algae, fungi and moss can be seen in the corners of the room. There are empty torch sconces but no light in here other than what is spilling in from outside.

Can Liam identify what sort of creature might have left the claw marks?

Gregor stealthily spits into the well, and waits for the sound to indicate how long it takes for the spit to hit the bottom. 

Crispy moves slowly around the room, scanning for anything of interest, and eyeing the rest of the members of the party, should anything go wrong.

I'll look at the claw marks, too, and see if I can discern anything:

Between the two gun sleuths of the group, Liam, with the help of his textbook knowledge and Crispy, with her sharp eye and deduction skills, you bounce ideas off each other without really noticing that you’re cooperating. I think in the background, we see the rest of the group nudge and smile at each other while you two unknowingly powerhouse your way through this puzzle.

You are able to deduct that the Tabaxi had natural climbing abilities due to their claws, and most likely used this as an entrance to the tomb.

Gregor, you hear a soft, cushiony sploodge after waiting around 3 seconds. You estimate it to be around 30 feet down.

Edit for me being impatient: Gregor turns to Chubby as the two are too busy being buddy buddy and he does not want to ruin this rare moment in the groups history. 

“The hole only being thirty feet. Gregor be thinking he should go first because of his dark vision and ability to hold his own in fight Incase he need to wait for teammates to get down”

Is there anything around here for Chubby to attach one end of his rope to?  He has 50 feet of hempen rope, to be able to climb down this 30 foot hole.

Crispy stands up and looks at all four walls, to make sure she didn't miss anything other than that fact that they're just four walls. If I need to roll anything let me know, otherwise i'm looking for anything that really pops out of the ordinary that a roll wouldn't be needed.

She turns to Chubby. "Hey. Be careful. I'm not losing another friend."

Crispy-  Not particuarly. The walls have old mosaic inlays of pedictions (Edit: is that even a word? Depictions*) of the Tabaxi swinging through the jungle, but most are crumbelled away.

Chubby- There is an iron ring attached to the side of the well which you could tie a rope to.
