Looking to recruit a very highly active player. We have burned through eight levels since December 4th. Expectation 5 to 10 post a day.
Standard array. Looking for druid warlock or barbarian. Preference to juxtaposed class race mashups ( for instance a barbarian halfling could be hilarious, and allow for some excellent role-playing)
Please post your application below with your stats, backstory and anything else you think might get me to pick you
I'd like to fill the Barbarian slot with my little friend Animal. You might have heard of him. He used to play drums for a band a while back but his explosive attitude always got him in trouble. His band mates suggested he try adventuring. He loves it.
Backstory: Pirates raided Balthazar's seaside village when he was very young, and he was carried away to be a slave, and possibly one day, lunch. However, a natural toughness and strength grew in him over time, due to the harsh conditions living among the murderous crew. Eventually, he challenged the ship's first mate to unarmed combat, and was seriously underestimated until landing the first decisive kick to his opponent's abdomen. He won the combat, and won the crew's respect, even though he did have to spend a week in the brig, and a month peeling potatoes and emptying chamberpots. Over time, he rose through the ranks, developing a ruthless fighting style, and eventually forgot about his childhood home. Not long ago, the pirate band scored a major prize, looting a treasure ship bound from the islands to the mainland. The captain and crew all took their shares of the loot and retired to a life of drinking and wenching, but Balthazar found he still had adventuring in his blood, and seeks for a new band of brothers to join and win fame, glory and treasure with.
Abilities: STR: 8, Dex 14, CON: 14, INT: 10, WIS: 16, Cha: 16 STR 8, Dex 14, Con 14, Int 10, Wis 17, Cha 13
Background: Urchin Hermit
Backstory: Storm lived with her family far away from civilization, interacting with traders that are on the road only a few miles away from home. One of the traders was a tiefling entertainer that used fire breathing and controlling flames, where Storm was soon facinated with fire. Maybe it was because it was something she shouldn't be messing with, or perhaps it was opposite of what she knew, or perhaps a bit of both. Whatever the case is, Storm wanted to know everything about fire. Her family shunned her for her fascination with the dangerous element and she soon had to move away from her home, estranged from her family.
She packed up and searched for the entertainer to teach her about how to control fire, but it was impossible for her to track him after meeting him once so long ago. She didn't give up her pursuit and eventually went into a town. When asking about fire magics, she was looked at oddly but was pointed to an old hut out in the wilderness. It reminded her of home, even though she was far from it. She gathered her courage and eventually knocked on the door, greeted by a sour old man who initially did not want anything to do with her until she said that she wants to commune with fire. The old man looked at the water genasi oddly but let her in after a while and told her that fire is a dangerous element that should be taken with caution and asked if she really wanted to know how to control the primal fierce forces of fire. Storm nods and she stayed with her new mentor for many years, him teaching her how to control fire at first and how to fight fire with fire, but pointing out that water is best to combat fire. Storm rolled her eyes at the remark which he ignored and he continued to teach her many things about the primal force of fire. It took several years before Storm was able to summon her own fire spirit, which then her mentor promptly told her that he has no more to teach her and she needs to see the world, as there is doom approaching.
I'll throw my hat in. Been holding out as I wasn't sure what sort of roll you were looking to fill, as the three classes you are allowing aren't all exactly filling the same role normally. Still, I have a druid I can submit...
Name: Tonol Race: Harengon Class: (Shepherd Druid) Background: Urchen Backstory: I can put one together, but I literally know nothing of your world or anything else. Tonol has lived in the backstreets of one of the urban centers of the world. She had to beg, steal, and do whatever is needed to get by for a good portion of her life. Now, as she has gained in her knowledge of the druidic arts though, she has found it far easier to get by. Love to work with you to expand this...
As a note I am quite active, and should be able to keep up. Weekends are a lot slower for me online, but weekdays I am online most of the day. I went with Urchen for the background, to give a bit of a mismatch between the normal Outlander-style druid and be a more street-wise one.
Play Amount: 10-15 times a day, 2-5 times on weekends
Character Name: Ozeman
Race: Tiefling
Class: Druid
Stats: 12 8 15 15 10 19
Background: Haunted One
Backstory: Ozeman grew up as any child should, happy and carefree. When his father's tiefling traits started to show in him, no one wanted to go near him, of fear of getting hurt. In his teens, Ozeman resented his father, and wanted to be able to heal people if he were to harm them. To spite his father, and to help future friends, Ozeman learned to harness the energies of the earth, as a druid.
I can change anything in my background if your campaign's current story requires it.

"Where do these guys get all their ideas?" - TommoBoi, to WOTC
DM of Night of the Nutcracker.
Is this still recruiting, or no? Lmk. Also, is Ranger - Revised out of the question? Also where do you stand in this game with multiclassing? Lmk
I've got a couple of warlock builds I could submit, but I suspect they'd not really be suitable (one doesn't even have Eldritch Blast.)
What sort of role(s) are you wanting the new character to fulfill? Tank, ranged damage-dealer, socialite, etc.?
EDIT: Looking back through your posts, your main game takes place on Discord? That would make a difference for a lot of people.
