Kroshav and Cladmir look at the wave of stone and ice and spot no clear way forward. In fact the spot nearly the same things, likely because Cladmir is standing very close to Kroshav. It's seriously not that small of a ledge... Even Thir is giving Jaq more room and she has personal space issues with the elf.

Ernos, much more concerned with the path forward after his recent fall, takes his time staring at the rock face and points out a challenging but still entirely possible path to another resting ledge.

Cladmir follows the paladin, his body moving efficiently from years of experience of not dying.

Kroshav and Cladmir quickly and smoothly scale the mountain side, Cladmir following Kroshav's path (unsurprisingly).

The ledge they find themselves on is narrower than the one before, but there will probably be enough room for everyone. It is also getting windier and more icy.

Thir manages this stretch better, relying heavily on the rope and Jaq only just makes it.

Everyone turns to look down expectantly at Ernos.

Ernos takes a deep breath to steady himself, gives himself a few words of Guidance, and sets to climbing.

The tiefling hauls himself up to the ledge, only slightly winded.  "I am not made for this...  How high must we climb?"

Ernos, hitting his pace, flies up the side of the mountain to join the other's.

While not at the top of the range, far from it, he sees a clear, surprisingly easy, path to a long saddle between a number of higher peaks. Somewhere along or near the saddle should correspond to where the dragon indicated the gryphons roost.

((I was going to say there was another climb but Hound's roll negates the climb by making it trivial.

You're up on a long, wide snow covered saddle that slope gently down before climbing up again.

What's the plan for finding the gryphons?))

"Bows ready?  Keep an eye for the marks."  To start with, Ernos is going to start repeatedly readying Eldritch Blast for if a gryphon swoops them.

Cladmir will pull out his bow and get ready -- swinging a mace does not seem like a way to go in a place like this.

Kroshav pulls out his wand, and is slightly nervous and giddy at the prospect of using it for the first time.

Kroshav looks about for signs of griffons hunting or roosting in the area.
