Ernos squints down the side of the mountain and doesn't spot much of note.
Cladmir looks further on and sees a few likely crevasses which he guesses might have more ledges for nesting.
Kroshav, moving forward on the saddle looks up to the top of the snow covered bit before it becomes rockier and sees an unmistakable red tinge in the ice and snow. While not definitively griffons, certainly a solid place to start looking.
((@all, rather than having you all go back and try and remember things:
Jaq determined the dragon's stated reason for getting rid of the griffons (a test for you) was not true
Cladmir knows griffons are highly territorial
Thir mentioned where the griffons are, the dragon is not
Not sure if the above information would have changed anything about your approach, but I don't want to penalize you for not remembering stuff from a year ago!))
((Oh I absolutely imagine the griffons would be extremely valuable if we got their help dealing with the dragon, but I'm anticipating that territorial nature to cause immediate hostilities, and it was Lurn who tended to defuse those problems, not Ernos. I suppose best wording is that Ernos is ready to attack the moment a griffon attacks them, though, he doesn't plan to blast indiscriminately.))
"Kind of glad we didn't pass them. Anyone see something useful?"
