Three sets of eyes switch to look at Kroshav while one gets a persistent itch on its neck.

Ernos points toward the empty nests, "Grab what you can.  Feathers, talons, anything."  Moving for the occupied nest, the tiefling makes several clicking sounds with his tongue to draw attention before slowly but steadily extending a hand, fingers held together, toward the hatchlings.  "A live hatchling will be even better evidence for the dragon.  We mustn't harm them."

When Ernos starts talking the feathery heads all turn to inspect him. When the clicking starts one responds with a chirping noise and then then others join in the chirping.

As Ernos reaches forward all of the hatchlings stop chirping and watch with rapt attention. The nearest hatchling to Enros hand goes very still then makes a quick snap at the tieflings extended appendage.

Seeing what Ernos is doing Cladmir will move closer to see if he can help -- although he's there more as a "just in case" guy since he's very leery of the creatures.

Cladmir ignores Ernos' orders to go gather griffon leavings and instead steps up to get a closer look of the potential biting about to happen!

Seeing the others have stuff well in hand, Kroshav will scrabble for any discarded feathers, shed talon sheaths, and the like.

The areas around the nests are filled with detritus from the nest, some of which would be quite rank if not for the icy temperatures. Kroshav is able to quickly gather a literal arm full!

He proudly displays his armful to his companions. Some down is stuck to the dust coated spittle on his chin.

Dexterity is surely Ernos' specialty and won't at all be a bad roll, definitely.

Ernos is momentarily distracted by Cladmir's looming and looking and Kroshav rushing around with an armful of griffon castoffs and gets firmly nipped.

The grifflet that did the nipping straightens and preens itself.

Ernos curses slightly as he tries to grab one of the chicks.

The grifflet is too busy being proud of itself to notice Ernos, what can only be described as, clumsy attempt to grab it.

The grifflet is momentarily shocked by its current grappled state as are all of the surrounding grifflets.

Scooping up  the feathered critter, Ernos starts patting its head, hoping to keep it calm, as he starts trying to make for the hole, muttering "Good little griffon.  You want some food?  Lets go get you some food."

The other grifflets all turn and watch the abduction, clearly unsure what is happening.

The grifflet seems to decide that being held tight isn't all that disagreeable and it gets to see something new!

The rest of the grifflets start cooing and cawing after it as Ernos moves towards the hole, one even manages to climb out of its nest and starts following unsteadily behind.
