((Huh. The second set of dice rolls changed since I rolled them? Ernie when from an 18 to a 23, the disadvantage disappeared and Thir went from a 7 to a 16. The roller is messed up. Either way.))
Ernos starts moving down the mountain following the other two when the grifflet twists to look at something and throws his weight off. Ernos and the grifflet start to slide/fall towards the backs of their unsuspecting companions, Thir leans out to grab them but misses as they slide outside her (impressive) reach.
Before they can go much further and pick up much more speed, Ernos manages to tuck the grifflet under an arm and snag the rope. It gives him a nasty jerk as he comes to a stop, there is a noticeable pop from his shoulder that he is sure will be a problem later. The grifflet squawks from its underarm position, clearly finding this to be a sub-optimal means of travel.
Before ushering the pair (grifflet and teifling) on without giving Ernos a chance to answer.
The trio meet up with Kroshav and Cladmir at about the midway point down, the rest being relatively easy to transverse if they use the trail Kroshav discovered. Just as they begin moving to get the rest of the distance they hear a distant shriek and a replying shriek echo off the mountain walls.
The grifflets, cradled as they are, don't seem to notice the calls of their parents and remain curious and passive.
There is still about a 20 minute descent ahead, mostly in the open, but there are no griffons currently in the sky that you can see. After the descent, there is some cover from above, but would require that you move more slowly to take advantage of it.
((Sorry about the post storm, it was just easier to get the rolls in!
What would you like to do? If you want to rush the last bit of the descent, could I get a d20. At the bottom, if you would like to sneak I will take a group stealth roll, otherwise I would just like a d20.))
DEX 18
Cladmir, unsurprisingly, follows in Kroshav's footsteps.
The grifflet remains largely passive, enjoying its new life experience!
((Foreverhound has been away a couple weeks, if they are the last roll we need?))

Thir quickly follows behind Ernos and asks,
"You good? Look good."

A few minutes later Thir and Enros hear many overlapping shrieks, that sound maybe a bit shriekier?
Thir says for the benefit of Cladmir and Kroshav,
"Catbirds mad babies gone."
