Tests and Trials Game Thread

Once hearing the one drow state he is blinded, and the way down still being blocked by webs, Jaq decided to take offense again, he will move out of the stairs and fire at the nearest drow.  

24  Longbow attack

If he has regular movement back he will move back into stairwell normally, if he is out of movement he will use cunning action to get the needed movement.  

((Thanks to the stack of people in the stairwell Jaq would have to use all his movement to get out to get a view on the drow.))

Jaq slips past everyone on the way up and fires an arrow that silences the drow's shouts for help as the caster slumps to the ground, oddly propped up by the javelin through his shoulder. Jaq then back peddles to where he was at the turn in the stairs to stand by the the wall of webbing.

Cladmir heard the yell and saw Jaq moved up to take a shot at the offending drow.  Realizing that he's not doing much good up front he's going to attempt to shimmy his way to where Jaq is.  If he can make it with movement to spare and not knowing that the drow has bit the dust he will attempt to pop his head out and ready to dodge if any projectiles come flying his way.

Joe will burn the web wall with presigitation and hops on Keishav’s back.

((Web's got stats, including AC. It's almost a sure thing but give me an attack roll with damage (probably firebolt).

Also, the web is at the bottom of the stairs, right at the bend, while Kroshav is at the top. Joe could run down to the web, attack it, then run back up to Kroshav but I don't think that's what you want?

And since I think there is still some confusion about how the stairs look, I have determined what they are called: switchback stairs! Here is a picture of some-

Jaq and Cladmir are currently at the landing where the stairs switchback,  and where the webbing starts. Kroshav is up top of the stairs and Joe is on the stairs just above the landing. Lurn is out of the stairs ruining drows' days.))

The webbing burns rapidly from Joe's blast as she is unsure if she should hop on Kroshav's back or not.

As she is considering this the last drow that is visible (to Jaq and Mikram) yells I'm elven,

"Noril is down!"

He then bravely dashes outside the range of Jaq's vision.  The voices in the fog cloud go silent and no one emerges from it though Lurn is pretty sure he hears someone whispering something and the faint scuff of leather on stone.

Kroshav doesn't notice much more but sword let's him know the drow has again moved out of her range of sight.

Lurn's sharp elephant firbolg ears hear more drow, at least a few, coming from the south. They sound like they probably are just rounding the corner to get to the hallway he is in now. He doesn't  hear any spiders...

"I hear a few more coming.  Hurry with clearing the way."  Lurn takes what cover he can with the crowd in the stairwell - Ideally not blocking Kroshav in - and readies Toll The Dead for the first drow that comes into view.

Making his was down to the next level, Jaq is hoping the drow are too scared of the Librarian to have ventured down there, but he is not going to take any chances.  

Using regular movement to head down the stairs, while dodging.

If nothing occurs, he will use cunning action for more movement and keep heading further into the hopefully, safer area.

Muttering under his breath, sounding irritated, "Damn, wish we could have searched that mage for what he was carrying."

As Jaq comes into the golem mud room he notes that more than a few of the golems are above the mud level and are poised with stone clubs. None strike out at him as rivulets of dirty water run off them, indicating they very recently have stood.
