Despite being ready to change targets most of the stones miss Kroshav, the few that come within range ping off harmlessly. A few hit the old mercerany but he can only just feel them through his armor.
Kroshav and Ealu can with a move action easily reach the loose line of ogres, most of whom are still in the process of turning around.
Cladmir would need to move and dash to reach to the ogres, but there are kobolds within move range all around him to engage in melee.
Ernos and Jaq are both a move and a dash away, but a move would put them in range of both eldritch blast and longbow attacks (though the kobolds and ogres they can see would be getting heavy cover).
((I will try to get a map up tonight, Halloween gobbled up yesterday's plans!))

Kroshav and Ealu surge forward, targeting the most wounded looking of the ogres, but seeking to position themselves that if any of the others wanted to come at them, they'd have to open themselves up to attack from the bugbears to do so.

The first blow doesn't land great on the ogre, so on the second swing, Kroshav imbues the already brightly glowing Sword with more magic, dealing an additional 10 radiant to the ogre.

Ernos moves in 30', briefly surveys the field, then raises one hand. "They attacked first."With that, a ball of flame appears in the raised hand, and blasts into the thick of kobolds - wherever he can catch the most without getting Kroshav or Cladmir in it too. As the flames leave the tiefling's hand, trails seem to linger behind, then surge back, shrouding him in a layer of flickering fames.
Fireball damage: 28 (Dex save DC16, half damage on success.)
Flames of Phlegethos: Shedding bright light for 30', dim light another 30', if anything makes a melee attack against Ernos it takes 1d4 damage. Also any 1s that fireball rolls I'll be rerolling using Flames of Phlegethos too.

Jaq will move to within longbow reach and try to stay near something he can hide in/behind. (Will wait for a map to see if he can get an enemy that is nearby/in melee with an ally)

Cladmir saw the explosion blasted a group of kobolds to one side and decided to attack the other group. Kroshav is a bit out of reach but he has battered down the one ogre pretty hard. The old soldier's goal is now to prevent these kobolds from swarming the paladin from behind.
Kroshav and Ealu pummel an ogre to the ground as most of the rest regard the new thing stomping one of their number with confused anger. The pummeled ogre is just angry, no confusion in the mix. She is also look pretty bad, but it doesn't seem like she's realized that yet. Sword adds her voice to the mix in Kroshav's head, but she fortunately (?) she is just laughing and encouraging more cutting. At this point Kroshav is probably used to the bloodthirsty voice of a young girl encouraging violence, but its maybe not entirely comforting.
Before the ogres can do anything the forest through which Kroshav just rode bursts into flame that briefly turns night into day and fills the air with high pitched screams and the smell of roasting meat. A few trees start to burn, though seem to be burning out. An arrow rips through the night and strikes one of the ogres just turning to face Kroshav squarely in the chest. It looks down in confusion at the arrow then up at Kroshav, who doesn’t appear to have a bow and arrows.
Thir and her companion take the opportunity to leap forward and swipe at the leading trio of ogres, who haven’t even seemed to notice Kroshav. Thir lands a vicious blow on an ogre who only just maintains their footing while her companion misses on the same target. A single javelin is thrown wide from the bugbear in the trees further on, their supply seemingly mostly spent. They look to be rallying but all pause as the counter attack from the ogre strikes Thir and drops her to her knees, a second blow from another ogre sends her flying limply away. The last ogre brutally drops the last remaining bugbear with a sickening crunch.
The three injured bugbear at the wood line look on with horror but don’t move to flee as dark resolve replaces horror and they grip their weapons tightly.
Kroshav and Ealu manage to dance away from three wild swings as the ogres in the back only for Kroshav to be struck a numbing blow from the ogress that has regained her feet. Blood flows freely from her wounds as she roars a challenge and is joined by her companions. The roars are joined from the words with cries only Kroshav can understand in Draconic of,
“For the Great Green One!”
Before he is struck repeatedly by stones, mostly in the head probably because it is the only part visible above the ogres around him.
The woods, Cladmir easily swipes aside a few stones thrown his way along with a small mob of kobolds that rush towards him with zealous vigor (but no real talent).

The eyes in the woods react, presumably being ready to change their targets from an already ongoing fight.
A hail of stones fall upon Kroshav and more than a few come Cladmir's way.

Are there any kobolds left near Cladmir after that spectacular explosion?

((Lot's of Kobolds near Cladmir, just the other direction.
@Row, there are a couple of ogres in melee with Kroshav, the most injured one is prone though (under Ealu's hooves).))

Jaq will target an ogre attacking Kroshav. (is he at disadvantage for any cover? asking cause if not he'll get sneak attack)
((Never was at disadvantage, you just rolled a natty 1! That said the ogres didn't notice you.
The ogre has 3/4 cover from the trees, so no disadvantage there either.))
(Got it.) Jaq will use his cunning action to dash closer, but still stay close to something to hide if needed.
He will send an arrow to one of those ogres harassing Kroshav.
