The party manage to catch-up with Thir after only a few hundred yards, she isn't in great shape but what she lacks in blood she makes up for with determination.

Thir grunts out,

"What plan Jaq?"

"Myk's been making sure we build defensive... if it does find the tomb, maybe they can hold it off long enough for it to get into a tight squeeze and we can hit it from the rear?", Kroshav suggests dubiously.

Cladmir followed along in Kroshav's wake -- but has his bow ready instead of his Warhammer and shield.

"Maybe she won't attack the tomb or find it.   We need to wait and see what happens before we just rush in and we all die."

Jaq frowns and thinks for a few seconds.  "We are all injured pretty badly already.  I don't think we stand a chance at this point.  We need to think and work on a way to do this so that we FINISH this dragon, so that everyone in this area can begin living without worrying about her.  I have an idea of where you all might live, IF we can eventually get rid of this dragon."

Sighing, he continues, "But it is a dragon, we will need to be smart and lucky to beat it, I think."  

"Let us follow, carefully, and see where it goes and what it does."

Kroshav sees the sense in Jaq's words, and suppresses the inner drive to meet the creature on the field of battle.

Thir doesn't stop moving as she listens to Jaq. She does look to the left and right before squinting ahead.

She replies,

"Path go to cave. Where told them. Dragon follow path."

She waves a hand to the left and forward, a bit vaguely, and adds,

"Hole and big snake lady there. Go by it on way. Rock goblin and snake lady help?"

((Who was leaving a visible trail, us or the bugbears?))

((The bugbear, it's clear even at night. Too many people going through to hide.))

((Christmas break bump!))

"She may... But don't think she can go far... Or maybe just won't? Can ask."

((Is the dragon visible overhead?))

"The Librarian may help with some of her golems, I think she will see the danger the dragon poses.  But she is hard to fathom."

Being entire new to the situation Cladmir had to ask.

"So are there any tips on how one is supposed to fight a dragon???"

((Dragon is well outside the group's vision.

Trying the library or continuing to the tomb? Heading home and calling it good? Laying down and taking a nap?))

<Ealu, make for the Library, do your best to let the Librarian know what we are up against.>

Kroshav swings off his horse and drops to the snow, grabbing his gear before she takes off.

"Ealu will get what help the Librarian can give, we head for the Tomb."

Jaq nods when Kroshav announces a plan.  "Best as any idea."

Ealu gives a silent acknowledgement and heads of in the direction indicated while the rest of the party race after the dragon, or at least head towards the tomb.

Otherwise, what are you doing as you approach the tomb?))

"So, if we have the chance to talk again, not fight, do we do it??  We are not in top shape at the moment."

Cladmir still doesn't know how exactly to fight a dragon, but he realized that those fears are trivial.  All that he need to do is to follow Kroshav and all will be well.

And so he made no moves to reply, but simply look at the stalwart paladin to pave the way.

Thir growls,

"What Jaq say to dragon? She lie and kill."

Jaq nods to Thir, "Yes, I do not trust her.  But I am not sure if we can beat her right now.  Most of us are pretty injured.  And a better thought thru plan would be good.

We do have us, the hobgoblins, the librarian, maybe her golems, maybe the goblins.  

If we can talk and somehow not fight now, but heal up and fight on our terms, when we want, a sneak attack, we have a much better chance of winning."
