Joe squeezes Kroshav's neck in fear.  "We need to get far from them as possible now."

From out of the dustiness Jaq asks, "So, did the entire tunnel collapse?" 

(( At this point I am fairly sure that Cladmir could either see or hear the party assembling. ))

Seeing and hearing of no danger and spotting more of the party Cladmir stepped out of the shadow to rejoin the group.  Despite a lifetime of battles and just barely escaping being tortured to death, the prospect of dying in a cave-in or being trapped and slowly suffocating in the dark has filled him with more dread he thought possible.  With that immediate danger now passed he thought he heard references of possible enemies in the area.

"Did someone mention that there are enemies nearby?"

(( If the visibility is now somewhat clear Cladmir would ready his hand crossbow, but otherwise he will still be readied up with the rapier. )) 

"Might be good to not be here if drow come to investigate... or at least be ready for them if they do.", Kroshav suggests.

"A breath was a little difficult to come by in that cloud of dust.  I didn't really consider it, either, I just acted on impulse."

"I believe they're already investigating, with those spiders that came by.  With the fire before too, the spiders didn't seem to really be paying us any mind until we attacked them directly.  They may be like regular animals in that regard. But we should get going before all the drow show up themselves."

((Back towards the library the air is progressively clearer and from the direction the cave in happened the air is heavily obscured and, for the time being,  is difficult terrain.

Mikram is confident that it should settle enough to head back in to inspect the results after about 10-15 minutes.

Heading back to the library for now or waiting?))

Joe votes for not going back to where spiders are. 

Is there any large area of the Drow base that we have not yet searched through carefully?   if so, Jaq voices his opinion of checking that area out.

((Spiders ahead and behind. So Joe wants to stay put?

@Row, The entire floor where the tunnel connects to the  library is unexplored by the party.))

"Since we need to let the dust settle to see if the cave-in did it's job or not, let us explore this area some.  We can take our time and do it right."

He will take the first left turn and go to the nearest doorway and look in.  Then he will look behind and see if the rest are following him or not.  If they do not wish to explore at this time he will not push the matter, but instead follow them.

((There is a little ways back to the library proper, you're still in the tunnel the duergar made. Would Jaq head back by himself or wait for the rest?))

Kroshav is in favor of not being stuck in the tunnel if any drow come to investigate. Spiders investigating that ignore them is one thing, drow is another.

Joe clings tight to Kroshav and closes her eyes, trying to ignore all the spider talk. 

(Joe will abstain from voting then.  )

Cladmir is also in favor of not getting stuck in a tunnel so he would follow Jaq also. 

Jaq is not going far ahead of everyone.  He will wait until everyone meets up, them make his comment about searching this level, then move to the first door.

Aye, Lurn's in favour of getting back to the library at large, though my first thought of 'library' was just the bottom floor. XD

The party decide to get out of the dust and head back to the, largely book free, library.

Before they are able to leave the tunnel first Mikram and then Jaq notice the entrance to the tunnel, which was clear before, now has something over it. From a distance, and in grey-scales, it is difficult to make out what it is but it quickly becomes apparent that the way back has been 'blocked' with with webbing that wasn't there before. What is beyond the webbing is partially obscured but nothing seems to be moving that either Mikram or Jaq can see.

Cladmir also noticed the webbing and started looking around for possible source/trouble.  He will also pull out his rapier in nervous anticipation.

Investigation:  4

Joe keeps her eyes closed, purposly failing the per check to see webs or spiders. for now, if she does not see or hear about it she’s not freaking out.

"If we burn this to get back in, they'll know we caused this, and that we've returned.  If we hide elsewhere and let the spiders deconstruct it when they return, the drow may be fools enough to think it's happened by chance, or think that we got caught up in the collapse ourselves.  But on the other hand, this could just be an attempt to keep us in here while they gather forces.  What should we do?"
