"Many. Too many, possibly. Every warrior thinks their technique is revolutionary, few bother to cross check that belief."
She looks vaguely annoyed at that and continues,
"Do you have a weapon preference? You carry a sword but have a warpick and mentioned a hammer. More basic guides contain general descriptions suitable across widef weapon types while advanced guides a weapon specific. I will have an assortment of levels brought, though swords have been the most popular subject."
She has a dozen books delivered, mostly thin and short on words but a few are proper books. One called "The Sword" is as thick as an unabridged dictionary and painfully filled with hard words. It's got nice pictures though!
"Yes, I've used the pick in the past, and the hammer when bashing or acid was needed, but Sword is my main weapon now. Thank you, I'll take good care of them."
He'll gravitate towards The Sword, and mostly look at pictures as he flips through it, but position Swords so she might be able to 'see' it too.
<Are you able to see the page? Oh, can you read this? I didn't think to ask. Let me know if you see a cool move we should try!>

While Lurn may be happy to sit in prayer, half a day of it is beyond him. Instead, he'll ask the Librarian if there is any sort of pen and paper available - there surely should be considering an important part of preserving books is replicating them when they begin to show signs of age or damage - and religious texts that he could copy, particularly those around gods of the dead or gods of life. Making copies of old texts to return to the temples would be an excellent use of time.

The Sword book is clearly a life's work, it is exhaustive in its attention to detail. From the words small enough to understand the author really loves swords. Maybe a bit too much, but who's Kroshav to judge!
Kroshav gets back from Sword
<I see a a piece of paper? There is something on it?> a few seconds later she says, "I can tell there are bumps on the page? You read those? I can read but it needs to be words."
She sends a vague image of what looks to be a sign with words engraved or chiseled into it.
Lurn gets a small stack of Kelemvor's holy books and teachings along with a few others from other sects, many less savory. He is given a simple ink a some rough sheets of paper that look to be recycled books. A heavy stone stylus is also provided. The Librarian expresses approval for Lurn's task.
"It is always interesting tracking how religious dogma evolves over the centuries. You may consider writing a book on your findings? Several others have done similar works."
Cladmir needed no further encouragement. After eating and drinking he looked for a place that is out of everyone's way and promptly fell asleep, his persistent headache and shaking limbs making him not really caring if the rest would actually be long enough for recuperation or not.
Unless someone/something prevented him from napping Cladmir is going to nap. (( Pretty sure that a short rest won't really do anything to help with his exhaustion level, but RP wise if I were as beat up as him I would definitely rather nap than read. ))
"I don't know if I've the wits to write about it myself, but it's important that we can know where we've come from and what changes have been made. This library hold many ancient books, so some of these may not be present in our own collections anymore, and if I can provide such texts to those who do have the mind for it then I would say I have done my part to further the faith. Maybe seeing where things have changed will even give our orders a view to see where our existing rites can change for the better."
Lurn will be spending a great deal of time carefully copying from the stack of books, as much focus going into accurately replicating each word as goes into avoiding damage to the old books.

<Are you able to see the words and pictures on the page, or can you only see the shape of things? Do you see colors?>
As the Librarian and Lurn discuss religious texts, Kroshav looks up from where he's conferring with Sword.
"Do you have any books about the Fist of the Five? I'm not up for writing it for you if you don't but if I ever run into one of your golems, I'll try to get a copy of something to bring back to you."

Lurn sets about copying books but to do it faithfully and accurately he'll need weeks, I'd not months. He is able to skim them though and try to pick out the differences or focus on a key text to get some of the major points.

The Librarian repeats slowly and thoughtfully,
"Yes, I believe we have something about them. A founding charter or... founding oath? If you have more books I will gladly receive them, even if you choose to author them yourself. "
She gives you a friendly smile that looks a bit odd on her snake face.

Kroshav feels that Sword might be a bit sensitive on the whole not seeing colors thing. Or maybe it's the reading thing? Or the kinda indistinct shape of the world around her? Or maybe all three? Or none of those. But probably one of them.
Lurn sits and takes the first book from the pile and starts copying it, not really bothering to read it first. At the end of the copying he is entirely unsure what he has and going back to front cover honestly doesn't think he's ever heard of this god? Probably someone has though, and would be interested.
Joe flips through the books and finds the first to be a bit above her level of understanding. The second is even harder, almost incomprehensibly complex in the time she has (both have a large number of

((Okay, so long rest. Any watches? Plastic for the next day?))
Kroshav lets the book thing drop, and returns it to the pile. He'll go through some forms with Sword, and do some pushups and crunches, and lunges, and just generally seems to have way too much energy to burn off to sit quietly for long. He does all of this as quietly as possible, to not irritate the Librarian, and not wake Cladmir.
((He'd assume they don't need watches while in the Librarian's lair.))
<Ealu, I hope you and Charlie are doing well. We managed to drop a tunnel, so hopefully more drow can't come in, but we had to fall back to the Library. We found a new guy, he's pretty rough, but hopefully he'll be able to help us clear things out tomorrow. Sorry it's taking so long. Love you both!>
