If Kroshav moves along the wall as well, if my math is right, she should be able to 'see' it once he's moved 15 feet or so, which would put Kroshav ~10 ft from the far edge of the fog cloud? And the drider is ~15 ft beyond the fog?
Would like a bit of ruling before he acts though...
The weapon also emits bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light 20 feet beyond that. If the weapon is not already magical, it becomes magical for the duration.
You can end this effect on your turn as part of any other action. If you are no longer holding or carrying this weapon, or if you fall unconscious, this effect ends.
If he sets Sword down, she goes out, but if he half-sheathes her, would you say that would free up sword hand, and still allow him to see? He'd still be carrying her, but it may break action economy, if it's a free object interaction to partially sheathe her, he doesn't have a free object interaction to draw free a javelin/handaxe this turn.
If that's too much, he'll sheathe Sword and stomp his feet a bit, gradually getting softer, in hopes that her glow no longer diffusely lighting up the fog makes the drider and/or drow think he's retreated back out of it.

((Sword would see drider after 5 feet of movement, it dodged so it could only get its movement away. The fog cloud continues for 20 feet, though Kroshav probably wouldn't know that. Another 10' past the cloud you have yourself a drider. Kroshav can reach it this turn with his normal movement.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
((It does!))
Kroshavmoves deeper into the fog, and when Sword alerts him that she can see it, he calls back to Cladmir to let him know the drider backed out of the fog, then surges forward out of the fog and swings her down at the elusive foe.
Cladmir thought he heard sounds and he was not sure what was happening until he suddenly hear Kroshav's call. Trusting the the Dragonborn knows the actual situation Cladmir followed the sound of Kroshav's voice with his rapier out and ready to attack.
Kroshav strikes twice into the fleshy side of the drider, who doesn't look all that surprised to see the dragonborn come out. The drow behind the drider does look a bit concerned.
Cladmir comes out on the otherside of the fog and finds himself a bit too far for a sword attack this round but can try with the hand crossbow. ((Or dash into melee for next round))
Jaq can hear some fighting going on, "I wonder what's happening?" he states, not liking that he can't see anything. He moves a bit closer to the fog edge, but no closer than 20 feet from the edge.
((Ranged team's just gonna have to sit and hold attacks until we realise the fog isn't helping anymore.))

Jaq moves closer and can hear the muted sounds of fighting, but can't tell if it is in the fog or not.
Joe and Lurn just stand and watch, though Mikram urges Lurn forward.
"Come on, ye don't want to miss this do ye?"
On the other side of the fog, Kroshav pushes himself against the wall to try and get more cover from the drider's bulk.
((Presuming a repeat of last turn's actions for the ranged team?
@Cladmir, if you decide to use your hand crossbow it would be at disadvantage for both the drider and drow. Drider because of dodge and drow because of range.))
Seeing Kroshav engaged with the driver Cladmir will dash in to help fight, and also to be less of a target of the drow hoping that being in close proximity to the monster will throw off the drow's aim.
Its mind seemingly made up the drider begins to withdraw, moving in an odd manner.
((AoO with disadvantage from Kroshav, see if you lock the drider down.))
