Blink ducks down low [Stealth 13] and fires an arrow at the seared goblin Attack: 19 Damage: 7

The arrow sliced through the creatures neck sending it toppling to the ground to bleed out.

"Where are you?" Vishka casts Guidance on herself as she attempts to spot the gob: lin to the south.

Perception 21 adding 2

 "There it is!" she cries out, pointing the goblin out to the others.

Griell roars in anger and pain as she charges down toward the goblin. She swings her glaive toward it Attack: 17 Damage: 12

The goblins dives out of the way with a shriek of terror.

Kara moves into the tree line and takes cover behind a broad oak while she scans the forest for movement.

Perception 20

"There you are!" she growls as she spots the goblin and charges forward toward it.

The goblin facing Kara lashes out with its scimitar Attack: 11 Damage: 8

To the south the other goblin stabs out at Griell Attack: 22 Damage: 6

Kara side steps the attack, but Griell is not so lucky as the goblins blade stabs into her side. She staggers for a moment with the blood loss, but then her relentless endurance kicks in and she raises her weapon once more with a maniacal grin.

"That all you got." she snarls at the goblin.

Melandra runs into the tree line after Kara sends a fire bolt flying toward the embattled goblin. Attack: 18 Damage: 6 leaving it badly wounded.

Blink jumps down from the wagon and heads south into the tree to find a hidden spot.

Stealth 16

She fires an arrow toward the goblin facing Griell Attack: 12 Damage: 10 sadly it misses the mark.

Vishka follows Griell into the forest and attacks the goblin with her mace Attack: 20 Damage: 8

She crushes its skull with a mighty blow.

Griell drops to one knee as the goblin falls. She tries to find her second wind but the the wounds are deep and she gains little from the effort.

Kara brings her blade down toward the last goblin with a roar of anger Attack: 6 Damage: 8

The goblin throws itself out of the way of this lucky strike. 

Wide eyed with fright the last goblin disengages with the fight and runs headlong into the forest. 

Vishka places a hand on Griells back and gives her a look of concern, 

"Can you walk?" she asks.

"I'll be fine." the half orc grimaces as she gets to her feet and turns toward the continuing sounds of battle.

Attack: 6 Damage: 8 again she misses as she hurls a hand axe after the goblin. 

The goblin escapes and the battle is over. Kara heads over to retrieve her axe. 

Perception 13

The party gather once more in the road, near the dead horses.

"These horse belong to Gundren and Sildar." Vishka observes. 

"We should look for tracks and find out where they were taken." Kara keeps her blade drawn as she scans the tree line for more goblins.

Griell is still breathing hard and trying to stem the bleeding from her wounds. "I need to rest before we go anywhere."

While the others take a short rest, Vishka searches the surrounding woodland for tracks or signs of life.

Survival 3

She notices a trail hidden behind thickets on the north side of the road leading northwest. From the tracks about a dozen goblins have come and gone along the trail, as well as signs of two human-sized bodies being hauled away from the ambush site.
