Maverick looks around and then he looks at the door trying to examine it, when he hears the crying he looks to see if there are any cracks he can look through

Eskee calls out towards the door, “Hello?”

Eskee, when you say hello, the crying stops.

Maverick, you do not see any cracks in the door.

Stun, you get down safely and see a pile of coins and other things in one corner of the cavern. Maverick and Eskee are standing at a large stone door with a green glowing crystal in it. The door is covered in elvish runes.

Hearing the crying stop Eskee says, “We don’t mean you any harm. Can you come out here and talk to us?”

Maverick does not want to scare the person crying so he looks for the darkest corner close by and falls back into the shadows. Just incase, he picks up a rock.

You hear a small voice say, "I cannot come out."

OOC: I am going out of town for a week. I will do my best to post once a day. 

OOC: I will be on Vacay as well for the next 2 weeks, i should be back august 5th. I'll post when i can...

“Are you trapped? Do you want us to see if we can get you out of there?” Eskee asks. 

The crying begins again. 

Maverick walks up to Eskee and transforms back to his original self. 

"Whatcha thinking man? You think this could be a trap to lure us in, or do you think someone is really back there in trouble? Should we send the Orcs in to try to open the door incase its trapped or do you wanna ask who is crying if they know how to open it? I can try to open it from here, but thats only if it unlocked."

The crying continues. 

“I think letting the Orcs try to open the door is a pretty good idea,” Eskee says

“Cupcake, you think you big strong Orcs can break this door down?” Eskee asks. 
“Hold on. We’re going to try to get you out of there.” Eskee says back towards the door. 

Maverick pits is han on Eskees shoulder 

" I know they are crying, but when that door goes down and they see Orcs, just be prepared for anything or any reaction brother."

Maverick back up a little bit and firmly and slowly plants his feet and braces himself for anything but hopes nothing.

Two of the orcs rush towards the door with axes raised. As they get within a few feet, green lightning shoots out from the crystal, knocking them down and destroying their axes. 

“Oh shit! Are you two ok?” Eskee asks the Orcs. 

Bruce, can I check the area around the door, from a safe distance, to see if I can find any type of lever or something that I think might open the door? Also, can I try to read/ see if I recognize the runes around the door?

Yes, roll an investigation check to see if you find a lever or something to open the door. 

The runes are elvish. Can you read elvish?
