Stun will leap down from in between the Monty and the orcs and say “STOP!!!”
Stun will then say to everyone, “The sun just came up and the first thing that you all feel like doing is spilling blood? Honestly, I’ve felt like so much blood has been shed in this past week in this valley that it’s gonna turn into a river of blood. My participation in it I fear have let those who come before me down.”
Stun will turn to Monty and the others and say, “We made a arrangement to discuss the possibility of peace with these orcs. Please sheath your weapons until we have had a chance to discuss.”
Stun will then turn to the Orcs and say, “Please get your Chief, it’s time to talk.”
Stun will ready “Rage” as an action of the Orcs decide to attack
Stun nods to the Eye as he pushes past the orcs, then turns to Sir Gladmore and says, "Kotter should have informed you about the alliance I proposed between you and the Orcs here. The treasure we found, i hope, will solidify the deal."
Stun then turns to the Orc cheif, "Ready to talk?"
Stun will glare at Kotter for a moment before speaking to Sir Gladmore, repeating what him and The Eye discussed before.
Stun will then say, "In short, form an alliance between the two of you in order to ensure safety and stability in this valley after the powers that ruled it have disappeared. The giant, The Yain-ti, and the dragons absence will leave a void for something else to fill its place. If not this alliance, then something else, probably worse than the other three mentioned."
Stun says to Sir Gladmore, "We bring the hoard back to the village together, solidifying our alliance to the people of the village. The Orcs will come to the villages aid to defend it if under attack from a greater power in exchange for the same protection from others and have trade with the village for better weapons and supplies. Details should be discussed with our new leader, but we should be pressing for peace after what we went through with the Yuan-ti."
"You want us to take a war party of orcs, who are known for pillaging and looting the farms on the outskirts of Zarestria," Sir Gladmore stutters, "into our village to plunder our homes. I don't think the people will go for it. What assurances do we have that they will honor this alliance agreement? Will they stop raiding the outlying farms? And how do we know they will come to our aid? I don't think this will work without something more than their word to seal the deal."
Stun says to Sir Gladmore, "Well that is what we are here to discuss. If I had a suggestion, I would suggest that in order to be bond by obligation and honor, the Orcs will have to use someone they hold to high value to act as an emissary for there tribe..."
Stun slows slides towards the Eye as he speaks, "Someone who is a pillar of there community, some one with wisdom and knowledge to help guide and advise them for the challenges they face. Someone to keep an Eye on them and to look out for them, with all puns intended."
"BUT, we should probably hear from the Orcs Cheif and his advisor to see what they have to say about it..."
"An emissary?" the orc Chief asks. "I like that idea." He gives the Eye a slap on the back. "And I know just the orc for the job."
The Eye looks at the Chief and Stun then to Sir Gladmore he says, "I would consider it an honor to act as a liaison between our people and yours. I will go with you to formalize our arrangement with your Chief."
"Still, I'm not sure how the new Mayor will take to having a bunch of orcs in the village," Sir Gladmore explains scratching his head. "Perhaps if only a few of you were to return with us ..."
"I will go alone," the Eye interrupts. "There is no need for any others to come with me. If you are willing to leave someone behind as a guarantee should something happen to me, that would go a long way towards making us trust you, human."
Sir Gladmore looks at Stun, Maverick, and Eskee. "I can think of three people who could stay behind."
Maverick begins flipping over small rocks and looking up trees and asks Eskee to pick up one foot, looks under it and then asks him to pick up the other one and looks under it. then Stops and scratches his head. leans over to Stun and asks
" Do you know the 3 people he is talking about? Hmmm, maybe they are in my bag"
Eskee will walk over to Stun and Maverick and say quietly “Stun I’ll defer to you. We could make a lot of gold in a week. However, I think these negotiationsss will go better with us here. What do you think, do we stay or let them sort this out on their own?”
Stun says to the group, "Well, to be honest, since I am the one that brought up this idea, I feel I should be held responsible for the outcome. If it is alright with you two, Maverick and Eskee, I will stay behind while you two go and ensure the peace. I trust that you two can ensure these talks stay peaceful."
The orc Chief motions to the other orcs, six of whom move to postions near Maverick, Eskee, and Stun. "I think these three will do nicely in exchange for our Eye of Gruumsh," the Chief says. The orcs motion for you three to move over to the orcs pavilion. Sir Gladmore and his guards take the Eye with them back into the forest. The rest of the orcs begin breaking down their camp and prepare to return to their village.

Eskee will try to motion to Sir Gladmore to wait and start climbing down the tree
Four orcs begin heading towards Eskee's tree with weapons drawn. Sir Gladmore, Monty, Duane, and Kotter ready themselves for melee combat.
Initiative order: Monty, Stun, Eskee, orcs, Duane, Maverick, Chief, Kotter, Trey, Sir Gladmore, Eye.
Stun, you're up, followed by Eskee.
Stun will then turn to the Orcs and say, “Please get your Chief, it’s time to talk.”
Stun will ready “Rage” as an action of the Orcs decide to attack
Reluctantly, one of the orcs goes and gets the Chief while the other three stand there menacingly, waiting to see what their Chief will do.
The Chief tells the orcs to stand down as he and the Eye push past them.
"What are you talking about, Stun?" Sir Gladmore asks. He lowers his weapon but keeps it unsheathed. He motions for his men to do the same.
While the others obey, Trey stays hidden in the bushes below Maverick's tree.
"Kotter did mention running into some orcs, but he didn't say anything about an alliance," Sir Gladmore glares at Kotter.
"The only good orc is a dead orc," Kotter mumbles under his breath.
"What exactly do you propose?" Sir Gladmore says, sheathing his sword.
"What sort of alliance do you propose, Stun?" Sir Gladmore asks.
Stun says to Sir Gladmore, "We bring the hoard back to the village together, solidifying our alliance to the people of the village. The Orcs will come to the villages aid to defend it if under attack from a greater power in exchange for the same protection from others and have trade with the village for better weapons and supplies. OOC: Sorry for not being on guys, ive been busy for the past few days....
Stun says to Sir Gladmore, "Well that is what we are here to discuss. If I had a suggestion, I would suggest that in order to be bond by obligation and honor, the Orcs will have to use someone they hold to high value to act as an emissary for there tribe..."

"BUT, we should probably hear from the Orcs Cheif and his advisor to see what they have to say about it..."
Stun waits for the Orc's response....

Sir Gladmore looks at Stun, Maverick, and Eskee. "I can think of three people who could stay behind."
“How long do you expect to be?” Eskee asks. “If it’s not too long I suppose we could stick around a little bit.”
"That depends on him and the Mayor," Sir Gladmore shrugs. "Could be a day. Could be a week. I'm sure there will be a lot to negotiate."
Maverick sits down and looks inside his bag.
Eskee will walk over to Stun and Maverick and say quietly “Stun I’ll defer to you. We could make a lot of gold in a week. However, I think these negotiationsss will go better with us here. What do you think, do we stay or let them sort this out on their own?”

If it is alright with you two, Maverick and Eskee, I will stay behind while you two go and ensure the peace. I trust that you two can ensure these talks stay peaceful."
“I’m certain Maverick and I can keep the peace in town,” Eskee replies. “I’m not crazy about leaving you here alone.”
