"Well, I wonder if this undead abomination has any link to this 'plague'? What do you all think?"

It could be that the plague does indeed refer to these undead creatures, perhaps those killed by the plague come back as zombies, or perhaps not. There are many rituals that feature sacrifices on an altar, most of them sinister.

Two zombies standing on a ledge 10 feet up that most of you hadn't seen drop a box of rocks on Leofir for 5 damage. (DEX save DC 12 to avoid). They then drop down, taking 3 damage each, and prepare to attack.

Leofir hears the rocks falling and tries to evade them.
Dex ST 10
The rocks hit Leofir and injure him severely. He barely holds on to life as he quickly pieces together what has happened.
Leofir sees the zombies from above jump down and can't help himself from laughing quietly at them injuring themselves and at the irony of nearly being killed by rocks. Seeing they are close to him, he draws his Rapier and stabs at the one that Yuron attacked.
Attack: 13 Damage: 5
OOC: Will it provoke an attack of opportunity if Leofir tries to move away?

Shaa's first dart... (7) doesn't do much.The other two are much more effective. Yuron fires a bolt which... (14) finally fells one of the zombies. Orbis calls on his God to help him defeat these zombies... (5) and it's quite effective.
The remaining zombie slams into Leofir.

Leofir tries to avoid it, but the zombie surprised him. Leofir falls to the ground.

A feint pattering of feet can be heard approaching from behind you. As you look around, you see a large humanoid lion figure in a dark brown duster coat blur past you with tremendous speed. A cacophonous ROAR echoes throughout the cave as a large Tabaxi slams into the side of the undead standing over Leofir with a reckless swing of his great axe.

As Yuron reloads his light crossbow he will blurt out "Why do these undead things hate me" before firing his crossbow on the one he shot before.

OOC: both the zombies miss but whenever I'm using my crossbow my shield isn't out as I need a free hand to reload.
