At Ironhead Arms, he looks around at the various bows while he rummages around and says, "Ah, it's a simple tune that I particularly like about an ancient and sacred grove near my homeland. I spent a lot of time there in my early days. My name is Leofir, a pleasure. I will admit I don't see many half-orcs running businesses, I'm pleasantly surprised; I'm glad you've had success. It couldn't have been without problems, so I respect that. I'm in town to see if there is any rumor or any possible work of the adventuring sort that needs doing. Lance Rock might be worth investigating, but it could be nothing, as you said." Leofir takes out his Shortbow and holds it up for Feng. "And yes, I'm looking to upgrade to a longbow. My Shortbow has seen some use, but it's still in excellent condition and finely crafted. I'm sure you can resell it for a profit."
Leofir puts his Shortbow on a table and inspects the longbow being offered by pulling the string, examining the wood for fractures or flaws, and being satisfied with testing it, he says "Well, it's certainly sturdy and aesthetically pleasing," as he flips his golden hair to one side while pretending to aim with an imaginary arrow. "Very well, you have a deal. If you're offering complimentary accessories then I'll take that pair of black leather bracers (he points to them), a quiver, and some arrows." Leofir hands over 15g and his Shortbow. "A pleasure doing business with you. If you know of any tasks that need doing, then I may be interested."
After Yuron receives his shield he will follow Leofir to the next shop but stay outside admiring the craftsmanship. Upon Leofir exiting the shop he will ask "is there anything else you need to do or should we go to the tavern? Once we secure rooms I need to go see the butcher and go to the shrine."
Leofir greets Yuron and says, "Well, a little bird told me about a task we could possibly gain some information on at the poultry shop. I believe I have the necessary equipment, or what I can currently afford anyway," he says with a soft voice and a light chuckle. "We can stop by there before or after securing lodging. We can go there as a group or I can stop in real quick and get what information I can. What's the word? I'm... flexible," Leofir says with a smirk.

When Orbis meets back with the others he slightly breaks his stoic demeanor. "The journey complete, respects paid, our fate yet ahead, I ask you now to join me in one of my favorite activities. Time for a drink!" Orbis buys a round for the group.
Accompanying Yuron to meet up with the rest of the group, Leofir cleans off the seat of the chair to not dirty his outfit before he sits down. Saying to everyone he takes out the cheese and mushroom bread buns and puts them carefully on the table, unwraps them from a piece of cloth and hands one to everybody. "Well, I took the liberty of buying one of these for you all to try while I was out. They were highly recommended." Leofir takes a small bite from his and dabs his mouth with a cloth then takes a sip of red wine.
"So, did anyone find any tasks that need doing? I heard there might be a group of goblins hoarding some treasure of some sort, but I need to follow up with someone who has more information at the poultry shop. Also heard the Bargewright needs some assistance and something about a plague at Lance Rock. Do any of those sound intriguing? Personally, the prospect of some coin sounds appealing. I spent most of mine on my new bow." As he lightly pats the longbow on his pack and ties his golden hair into a ponytail while waiting for everyone else to try their bun and reply as he continues eating his.
Yuron will toss three gold on the table "I guess I will get the next round" as he nods towards Orbis and takes a swig. Yuron will wipe away any remaining ale from his face with his sleeve before he says "I heard about some outlaws lurking about but I need to ask the butcher for more information on that". After that Yuron will begin on the bun only to stop and say "these buns are delightful where did you get them from, Leofir?".
The genasi eats the bun and begins another honey mead. His long coal black hair never appears to move. Orbis examines the rogue through his genasi eyes like black onyx stones staring out from his weathered sandy hued face. "I will not hold you in judgment for the trade you choose to ply, that is not my purpose, but coinage shall never be my cause. However if the gods bless me with coin in pursuit of goodness, so be it! Perhaps I can be of aid to those suffering a plague and I've never known of goblins to pursue anything but evil!" He raises his glass to the rogue and takes another drink.
Replying to both companions, he pauses eating for a moment, dabs his lips and says "Oh, I stopped by the bakery and they looked delightful. I figured everyone might wish to try one. Glad you both like it; I'm sure the others will when they get here. If I may offer a suggestion...perhaps the bartender may know of a rumor or two that could be of use? I would ask, but I don't consider myself the... persuasive type," Leofir says with a smile and soft chuckle as he sips on his wine then rests his chin on the backside of his interlocked hands and elbows propped up on the table.
The Swinging Sword is welcoming and luxurious by the area’s rustic standards. Each room boasts a hearth, warm draperies and tapestries, and running water. The topmost guest floor is given over to dormitories where travelers can sleep cheap in rooms shared with up to six guests, but the lower floors are divided into pleasant suites of guest rooms, each with its own garderobe. There’s also a dining room on the ground floor. The owner, Kaylessa Irkell, is a fortyish matriarch and a pleasant, sturdy woman. She greets you as you enter then goes about her business. Kaylessa’s staff are uniformly attentive and good at their work. The food is fairly basic, they seem to be having some problems in the kitchen. As business slows down, the owner comes over and sits at your table. Her voice is smooth and buttery, with an honest tone. "Hello and welcome to Red Larch. I'm Kaylessa Irkell, owner of the Swinging Sword. I'm always glad to see valiant heroes such as yourselves in Red Larch, every monster that is slain makes Red Larch that much safer! In fact I might be able to find a discount for you, if you're staying." She winks at you. "One gold piece will buy a fine room with all the amenities you require for the night, sleeping in the dorms would only cost you one silver coin. Anyways, it seems like we might be needing more heroes in Red Larch. Perhaps you've heard of some of the recent disturbances near Red Larch. I'm grown increasingly worried about what’s gathering in the dark in Red Larch over the past few months. Workers at Waelvur’s Wagonworks have been talking about suspicious activity around the workshop. I've heard many tales about fogs that persist in the Sumber Hills even in bright sunlight, and sudden gusts of hot wind sweeping west out of the hills where breezes have always been cold. There have been more violent sights, too, such as sudden bolts of lightning stabbing up from the hills into a clear sky. It's affecting the town, some Red Larchers are looking both frightened and furtive, and tersely turning aside innocent queries." She shakes her head. "Fell Magic, I tell you." She leans in closer. "I've got a theory about the source of Red Larch’s recent troubles: it’s all related to an evil presence at Lance Rock. Neither the constable nor the town elders have helped me, so if you do I'll give you the 50 gold to investigate Lance Rock and make sure no sinister forces are lurking there."
Orbis and Yuron have both spent 3 silver on food and drink at the inn.

Leofir sits quietly and has his chin resting in the palms of his hands as Kaylessa speaks. As she finishes, he rubs the back of his neck and crosses his hands behind his head as he lounges in the chair.
"Well, all that sounds quite unpleasant. I happened to hear from a little bird that there was a plague of sorts at Lance Rock. Have you heard rumor of that as well? The 50 gold sounds nice to me and if it will make the townsfolk feel at ease, then all the better."
He pauses for a moment and looks around, "Normally I would ask for more gold, but that would seem insulting; you seem honest and you have an elegance to you which is reflected in your establishment. If my companions decide to undertake this task would you be willing to provide a meal and a decent room instead? For that's more valuable than a few extra gold."
Kaylessa laughs and says "Yes, the Tarnlar children have been spreading wild tales about a plague. Children often tell tall tales, but perhaps there is some truth to this one." She seemss slightly insulted by the demand for more payment. "Well perhaps we can discuss payment after you deal with the problem."

Yuron chuckles and says "Kaylessa's got it right payment usually isn't due until the jobs complete. Plus she isn't some run of the mill inn keeper this establishment is very well run."
Yuron will wait until Kaylessa leaves the table and ask the group "We seem to have come into quite a few requests recently, any thoughts on which one we should start on? We just need to make sure once we finish we get our dues."
Leofir seems confused at the responses, saying to Kaylessa "Sorry my dear, there seems to be slight confusion. I believe I said normally I would ask for more, but in this case that would be insulting to you and this establishment, as this place and yourself are indeed quite charming. Apologies if it came off differently. I was wondering if a meal and room would be possible instead, but forgive me. Forget I asked." He takes a small bow while seated.
In response to Yuron, "Well, there is definitely 50g waiting for us upon completion of investigating Lance Rock, plus I suppose it might settle the nerves of townsfolk as well. That seems to be a decent lead. I also heard that Goblins may be hoarding treasure of some sort, but we need the details from my contact at the poultry shop. It would be a shame to leave it to those creatures, they don't appreciate proper beauty. It may be possible that we might be able to look into it on the way to wherever we decide to go. Do not worry my friend about receiving our dues for completing a job—I'll make sure of that." He says with a sudden look of uncharacteristic, deadly seriousness and with a wry smile as he winks.
Leofir's countenance immediately changes back to his carefree, aloof self as he stretches his arms, "So, what do you all think we should undertake? Any other leads on jobs?"
Isoxi looks to Shaa, "perhaps you should feel them in, I only entered at the end of a conversation? Though I tend to think endearing ourselves to our lady who runs this house may be a useful endeavour."
Shaa nods. "I ll tell you all about it once we get settled in." He slides a gold piece to the innkeeper. "I 'll take one of the big rooms."
"And I agree we should help her. Even if it's just to show the people around here we can. They might be better inclined to tell us things once we have helped."
