Throwing a shrug towards Nate "Nope I don't believe so, but I'm trying to find a Bastian Thermandar I've got a bounty on him and somehow I think he's related to all the crazy stuff that is going on." Turning his gaze back to the woman intently awaiting her answer.

In answer to Yuron's question, she says "No, I have only heard this name whispered before and do not know who she is." Yuron can't tell if she's lying.

To Rey she says "It's worrying, isn't it... some of the knights were calling it an omen, but they wouldn't say of what."

"I am not sure the sky is a good thing. Do you know what these sects are they are talking about?"

Gren is gonna find himself a spot to sit, listen, and just rest for awhile. Eager as he had been to press on, the vigor was fast leaving him the more time seemed to pass by. "Who is this Bastian Th-The-Thermander supposed to b-be?" He asks curiously. 

"Well it looks like we aren't getting anywhere with this lady, what do we do with her?" Rolling his eyes at the lady and turning to Gren "Well Bastian Thermander is just a bounty I'm working on, I guess he's killed a few people and I'm here to stop that... well when I find him."

"I have been sent to retrieve her. So I guess if we are finished here then we can head back to town. I will get in contact with some people and be on my way."

Looking towards Rey "You need anything else? I think I'm done here."

"This tower makes me curious to see what else is in here. Perhaps we should check their prison cells of they're taking people hostage." He says, stroking his mane in thought.

"S-sounds like plan! But uh... what do we do a-about them, int he meantime?" Gren asks, tossing a thumb in Savra and her companies direction. "While I d-don't consider them combatants... at least, not any more?" He pats the back of his neck. "There.. still on the questionable side, I-I think." 

Chuckling a little Yuron will look away from Rey "Alright works for me... Nice new clothes they really suit you."

He gives a smirk before seeing if the guards have any manicles on them which they can use- otherwise he gets rope from his bag and ties the survivors up. After a short rest, I think we're ready to explore the lower part of the tower?

Gren sort of sinks into himself as his query got kind of set aside. Not wanting to further pushing with things with the cat man however, he settled for ushering Savra and her compatriots back in the office before the group began binding their wounds and catching their breathe. If Rey or Yuron didn't decide to themselves, the masked clergyman makes a point of sitting by the doors to at least keep a passive watch for any more knights.

If able to take a Short Rest:

You manage to find some manacles, and use them to restrain your prisoners. You then take some time to rest and tend to your wounds.

Throughout the tower, you find several dorms, in which you find 125 gold coins. In the kitchens, a pot is boiling over, untended. On the lowest floor, you find the stables. There are four hippogriffs and two giant vultures in the stalls. They initially back away from you, but aren't overly aggressive.

 Rey approaches the hippogriff and casts speak with animals as a ritual. He asks the hippogriff if it will join him and his friends in the open world, not locked up in a cage.

He also tells the vultures that he promised their kin that they would free them if they co-operate.

The general consensus among the animals is that freedom would far surpass their present condition, although the hippogriffs put it rather more gracefully than the vultures.

Gren saw to the pot, seeming unconcerned by the heat. He even took a taste of the scalding hot liquid. While of course taking care not to reveal his face during the process. "I could do better." He moves on to join the others. "Now I-I know there's a lotta in-interesting things in the world. B-but a bird that's part h-horse? N-n-now that's something." Gren chuckles. "So what is the v-verdict? Will they take us a-at least back to closest town? C-could be someone there has a few answers. A-a-at least 'bout this Sacred Stone place, or Aerisi." 

As Gren says the name aloud again, he tries to recall any information on the so-called Queen.

The name doesn't bring anything to mind. It's been awhile since there have been any monarchs around here, and it's doubtful anyone has a legitimate claim.

After the short rest (2HD 20) Nate follows the rest of the group through the building. Once down at the stables, he is impressed with Rey's ability to talk to the animals. Even though he could not understand what was being said he was happy they had come to some mutual agreement. He walks over to one of the hippogriffs, bows deeply before reaching out a hand to pat the creature. In sylvan, he says "Creatures like you should never be enslaved. You will see the skies shortly."

"A creature as honourable as this would make a partner for life." Rey says in common, in awe of the creature. He asks one of them, "Do you have a name?" in beast speech.
