Dr. McRoy takes a step back. "I'll not rob any person of their dignity. I would argue with you all day long that you shouldn't give... never give up. But it's your choice. Tulgi, if you don't want help, do you at least want company in your final hours? Nobody should die alone." His voice is hoarse, gruff, and full of emotion.
Petros removes his coat and wraps it around his left hand. He then grabs the dagger, careful to not let it touch any exposed skin, and puts it in his backpack.
”We’ll investigate Urgon’s house. Thank you for your help and I will make sure that your sister ends up being safe.” Petros says somberly as he walks out of the lodge.
It isn't hard to find Urgon's cabin on the edge of town, another one story, one room cabin, where a younger female wood elf stands guard at the door. "Halt! Hey! You can't come in here!" She manages to squeak out quickly as you approach, clearly a little nervous.
The young lady stiffens a little. "Oh! Elro sent you? No, no I haven't touched anything! Just here to keep trespassers out! Well...now anyway..." She turns around and unlocks the door and opens it for you all to go in.
As you enter, you see that this cramped, dark cabin might have been a cozy place when its owner was alive. Now an unmade bed stands near a cold fireplace, its mantle hung with the head of some snarling white beast with gray horns. On the other side of the room, a small table strewn with dirty dishes and set with a dwarf-sized chair stands before two empty shelves whose contents are scattered across the floor: kitchen utensils, dried foodstuffs, adventuring gear, and a few books.
The young lady stiffens a little. "Oh! Elro sent you? No, no I haven't touched anything! Just here to keep trespassers out! Well...now anyway..." She turns around and unlocks the door and opens it for you all to go in.
"Hi, what's your name? Can you tell me what you meant by now? How many trespassers have there been?"
Gellwin tromped to Urgons cabin with a dejected look on his face, he had never come across anyone who refused help before and needless suffering wore on him.
He smiled to the young elf but dropped it immediately as he headed inside.
" What now? Do either of you know any magics that will give us more information about the dagger? Or I can just examine it?"
" Do you need help searching for other cursed items?"
Gellwin heads to the shelves, looks up at the mounted head and then looks at the floor....
" Why is everything on the floor?"
He starts searching starting with the shelves and then going through the stuff on the floor.
"Hi, what's your name? Can you tell me what you meant by now? How many trespassers have there been?"
"I-I'm Mila Teno! No one's been past me since I started watch! Someone already came through though, not sure who...but I was ordered to keep it locked and quiet!"
It is easy enough to go through some of his adventuring supplies, finding a silvered maul; a suit of splint armor sized for a dwarf; bulky, fur-lined clothing sized for a dwarf; a grappling hook; and a hooded lantern. But as you sift through the shelves, you find a folded receipt being used as a bookmark. While the book itself seems to be of no consequence, the receipt is dated two months previous, and indicates that Urgon sold several Aeorian items found in Eiselcross to local antique shop Pelc’s Curiosities for 1,000 gp. The items are listed as a dagger, a scroll case, a jade statuette, a quiver of twenty arrows, a silver ring set with a jasper, and two blue glass vials.

“I will at the very least. I can’t say the same for the doctor.”
Tulgi huffs again and thrusts a very ornate dagger in a gilded sheath at you. "Then be gone! I still think that Urgon was hiding something."
Petros removes his coat and wraps it around his left hand. He then grabs the dagger, careful to not let it touch any exposed skin, and puts it in his backpack.

Petros begins to scavenge the room, taking anything of value. “It’s not like he can use this stuff anymore.” Petros mumbles.
(Y'all looking at anything in particular or just in general?)

Gellwin shows the receipt to the others, " Do you think maybe it was one of these other items that caused it?"
" Should we go check out the shop?"
