“Bugge’ me!” Cade wades into the water and retrieves the remaining vials. He hands 5 to Gellwin, 5 to the doc and keeps 5 for himself. “For safekeepin’” he mumbles. Then he hands the eye over to Bones, “Any idea what that is then?”
With cures in hand, you make a break for it, rushing back to the outpost where the Buyer waits for your return. There they are able to magically send back the cures to Palebank Village immediately. You each receive 50gp as part of the reward for finding the cure and the many thanks of the townsfolk around Eiselcross.
(You also all technically level up to 3! Gratz!)
However, even with one mystery solved, more strange rumors and incidents are reported. So who knows where fate may take you next! Are you off to find more Aeorian relics? Investigate the strange lady on the boat with the missing persons? Perhaps you've had enough of the cold and are ready for warmer climes, so maybe a vacation on the Menagerie Coast!
Bones would take a moment to examine the strange device. "Yes... I don't recall the name, but it is a magical replacement for an eye. Though I've never performed the procedure to install such a thing, I once new an officer who had two of these. I wouldn't sell that, it is valuable and they are hard to come by. Just my opinion though, I lay no claim to it." Bones hands it back to Cade.
(( After getting back and delivering the cure... ))
Bones invites the others to a dinner - each person pays their own tab! "Friends, we have literally survived death together. Along the way I feel like my life found some renewed purpose. I had become a naval doctor to help people and to learn my trade, adventures came as a second thought. Now that I look back, it was the backdrop of those adventures - and misadventures - that gave depth to every other goal and relationship I held. I would say to you this, I'm of a mind to keep at it. I'm no warrior though... I would much appreciate the company of others." He gives the others a chance to respond. If they are up for more, he suggests warmer climates. "...Perhaps the menagerie coast?"
Cade nods, carefully packs up the magical artifact, then burries it deep in his backpack with a shrug.
((At Palebank Village))
Cade will happily accept the villagers’ thanks and the gold. He will immediately send the bulk of it back to his family, keeping only a few pieces.
((At the dinner))
“Aye, a dangerous journey t’was. But’was all worth it. We did a good deed.” Cade downs the rest of his ale in one swig, wipes his mouth with a sleeve and smiles. “The Menagerie Coast? I like the sound of that!”
Petros takes the money from the town’s mayor, happy to be done with that job. He spends the money on a con he plans to take into action at some point, one which involves selling dyes as potions to the unsuspecting.
((At the dinner))
“I wonder what some things ended up meaning on this journey, like that weird crystal-obsessed woman. But… I’ve had my share of adventuring — for the moment at least. I wouldn’t mind heading with you all to the coast, it’ll be at a tolerable temperature at least, and maybe company might be a better choice than going alone.” He says the last part mostly to himself, and swirls his drink in thought.
(I am closing this thread. Again, thank you all so much for your participation. If you liked your character I encourage you to keep them as you never know when another opportuntiy to use them might show up around here! Any further questions or suggestions please feel free to DM me!)

(You're welcome! I hope you all enjoyed it. Who knows, maybe we'll do another story here soon somewhere else in the world!)
Like... the Menagerie Coast mayhap???
Thank you DM, and to my fellow players. Sorry that I was spotty at times with my responses, but it was great fun, and I'm going to miss playing Bones!
